Using a gift card in Kalihi, Honolulu, Hawaii... When I find a gift card in my wallet, it's best for me to use it right away before I misplace it or forget about it again... Feeling a bit hungry, I stopped at Kamehameha Shopping Center because there's a Jamba Juice between Subway and McDonald's. With lots of free, shared, covered parking, I easily found a space and walked into a nicely air conditioned, clean Jamba. Service was friendly as I asked about the balance of the card and ordered the Vanilla Blue Sky Bowl - because I've never had one before (and have always wondered how it was)... Well, I think I like the taste of acai better. Vanilla is a bit bland, but looks good for photos. The fresh strawberries and blueberries added a tart flavor and the granola gave the bowl some crunchy texture... This was a healthy snack and tied me over until lunch! Thanks for the gift card!

    Açaí bowl. Also soupy.

I am very upset about the way I was treated in this store. I first came in the store and I walked in with the cashier giving me the eye. She was very rude. I had three separate orders. The employees are young and the crazy thing is the girl cashier that took my order loudly said "you know that girl ordered like six times. The employees here are ratchet and have no respect for their customers. Also when I got my orders. My family and I ate our Jamba Juice and it tasted absolutely horrible. The Acai bowls that should've been sorbet was old and frozen. They got my order wrong. All my family members that ordered and ate this Jamba Juice said it did not taste good at all. The energy in this store from these employees give off sassy energy. The ambiance was cold and matter of fact my change that I got was wrong. I received less change than I was supposed to. I asked for extra thick on the açaí bowls it was soupy. The pretzels I asked for cream cheese for all four pretzels. I only got two. The attitude of these employees need some training because the way that I was treated is unacceptable. The fact that the girl cashier was talking about me loudly saying I ordered so many times is not right. I will not be coming here again. I also advise anyone not to come here because the employees have major attitude. Do better Jamba Juice.

Unbelievable usually I have a Acai Primo bowl every 6 months and this time kids making it decide to make it small, paying $10.99 for this and smallest portion compare to other places, had to actually ask for a scoop more because was just to small and unacceptable, I always get good service all Locations!

I like coming here because it's really convenient and there's always a lot of parking. It's located right by pandas express and by subway. So if you're also getting other food you can definitely place your order or just wait and go food hopping. It's near the entrance of kam shopping just make sure you enter through the McDonald entrance so you can go left or park near the bank area. If you enter near longs you'll have to go all the way around. Honestly their açaí bowls aren't my first choice but when I'm craving one they sure hit the spot! The only reason why I didn't give them the full 5 stars is because when I order the açaí bowl, I almost waited like 30 mins for mine. It does not take 30 mins to make a bowl. I even placed my order alone. I think it's because they where also making someone else's order with mine. I love the primo bowl! As for smoothies, I only get the strawberry dreams, nothing else!! Also, I love how they do fundraising! When I was in high school I loved that they came out and we where able to buy fresh Jamba Juice. Even thought it wasn't strawberry dream, they've definitely made their mark on me. Review #11 of 365

Nalu Health Bar & Café is such a solid spot, especially if you're looking for something fresh,…read morequick, and actually satisfying. Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Seating is limited so it may be difficult to find seating especially during high traffic meal times. May have better luck finding seating outside. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

(I used to frequent the Kahala location back before its Ku'ono Marketplace glow-up.) I'm usually an acai bowl loyalist at Lanikai Juice, so smoothie sampling was a first sip adventure. Location: Inside SALT at Our Kaka'ako, facing Ala Moana Blvd. Parking: Closest lot sits at the corner of Ala Moana Blvd and Coral St (entrance on Coral). You can also use the SALT lot on Keawe St, or play musical chairs with street parking. The Coral St lot is paid via QR code posted on signs - snap, register, and pay before you bounce. Atmosphere: Compact, but still has that classic Lanikai Juice feel. Seating is scarce, but we scored the seat jackpot with the window-facing bar (perfect for a trio). Drinks, snacks, and merch line the walls, while cup and bowl sizes are clearly displayed at the register - no guesswork needed. Drinks: I went with the Lanikai Splash, while my friend and her boyfriend ordered the... "I-don't-remember" smoothies. Mine hit the spot, and judging by their nods of approval, theirs did too. Service: Smooth, our drinks were blended and in hand within 5-10 minutes. Price: Roughly $30 total, generously covered by my friend's boyfriend. Would I return? Parched and passing by? Sure!

Inside, the space is clean, colorful, and nicely air-conditioned! The staff were a bit busy as each order is made freshly! I got a Super Green smoothie: apple juice, mint, spinach, Hawaiian spirulina, lemon juice, apple, and banana. It wasn't too sweet, but just right! I didn't feel guilty at all with this choice!

We ordered a latte, an açai bowl, and a smoothie. I was bummed that my smoothie could not be customized. The base was premade so I was not able to make any adjustments to it. Our items were ready in a reasonable amount of time. The portion size was a little smaller than we expected. As for taste, the açai bowl was good.
