A few days ago while shopping in Pasadena, I noticed that this tea shop had opened a new location And the location is honestly super convenient! There's a parking structure nearby that's only $1 for the first two hours! The shop is right on the main Pasadena street, and you'll constantly see people walking around taking photos with their drinks haha. Getting a drink here after shopping really boosts the whole happiness level Inside, the shop feels very clean and bright, with a simple and comfortable atmosphere. It's also a nice place to sit and relax with friends for a bit. This time my friend and I ordered several drinks and even brought some home for family too. Here are my favorites Coconut Mango Pomelo The mango flavor is really rich, and the coconut makes it super smooth. There are lots of toppings inside too! It totally gives summer vibes. Green Grape Smash Very refreshing, with a natural grape flavor. Ice cold and super thirst-quenching. Ube Cheese Foam Slush The cheese foam is rich and creamy, but not overly sweet. The ube slush is super smooth, and it pairs so well with the slightly salty foam Crispy Green Plum Slush I was worried it would be too sour at first, but not at all! It's really refreshing and one of my recommendations! Perfect for hot weather after walking around shopping. Rose Cream Coconut Jasmine The rose flavor is very noticeable, paired with coconut and jasmine tea. It's part of their Mother's Day special drinks and honestly really good! Overall, there honestly weren't any misses haha. And the location is such a huge plus. If you happen to be shopping in Pasadena, you should definitely grab a drink here

Very cute interior: modern and clean with some seating. One of the few boba places in Old Town Pasadena. It's relatively new - located right next to the Lucid Car showroom. I got the snow blossom jasmine milk tea - to be honest, the tea was weak and the boba could have been softer. We also got the fruit tea with lychee jelly and it was alright. Service was good though.

Heard great things about this place so decided to stop by. Service was great and the inside is simple but cute. Got the coconut mango pomelo (50% sweet) and green grape (50% sweet). Of the two, we loved the coconut mango pomelo - can taste all three flavors really well and love the textures in the drink. The green grape was good too but slightly bitter. Would definitely come back though!

Had dinner in the area the other night and walked by this new boba spot, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Green Grape Smash tea with boba and it was actually really refreshing. It had chunks of real grapes in it which made it feel more fresh and satisfying. It tasted a bit different from your usual boba spots in the area in a good way. Definitely something lighter and fruit forward. I'd come back to try some of their other fruit teas.

I recently stumbled upon this new and sleek boba shop while I was in Old Town Pasadena. It was a perfect spot to grab some refreshing drinks while taking a quick break from strolling around the area. I loved how they showed a list of their signature drinks along with pictures on the big screen by the counter to make it easier for me to choose my order. Here are the drinks that I chose: Coconut Mango Pomelo - perfectly balanced White Peach Milk Tea Grapefruit Americano - a unique caffeinated drink Tsubaki Oolong Milk Tea Ube Cheese Foam Slush They also separated their drink menu by categories like milk tea, fruit tea, slush, coffee options so you easily figure what style of drink you like. One thing that is totally noteworthy is the ability to choose various milk options (fresh milk, oat , soy) without extra charge!! If you're lactose intolerant like me, this is totally a game changer :) I also want to note that the service was quick and they prepared all my drinks within few mins. Will definitely visit again next time :)

First time trying Jam Jam and certainly not the last. The space is very spacious and clean with some seating on one side. The staff that took our order was very nice and helpful. The menu isn't overwhelming but includes something for everyone, including options for kids. I tried the green grape smash fruit tea which is one of their more popular drinks. I chose 75% sweetness, light ice and aloe vera jelly. Their fruit teas are made with green tea as the base. The drink was perfect, had the right amount of sweetness and the crushed grapes added some texture. Would definitely be back to try some of their other drinks

I was excited when I found that there is a new Jam Jam Tea and Moments in Pasadena. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly. The shop has very cozy vibes. The menu includes their specialty drinks like coconut mango Pomelo, oreo cream boba fresh milk, mango matcha latte, cheese barley boba milk tea, brûlée brown sugar boba milk tea. They also have milk tea, fruit tea, foam tea, slush, and coffee. I ordered coconut mango Pomelo. The drink was rich in mango and but had well balanced citrusy Pomelo flavor. It was very fragrant, refreshing, and delightful. Absolutely delicious! It is a must try from Jam Jam Tea and Moments. Like I said I tried many of their drinks before, and I enjoyed all of them. I have a weak point when it comes to mango! Definitely, I will come back to Jam Jam Tea and Moments.

A small tidy shop on Colorado Blvd in Old Town Pasadena serving up refreshing iced tea, coffee, and milk drinks. First time there, I tried the Ube Cheese Foam slush. The combination of slush and creamy foam was fun in my mouth, but the ube flavor could have been stronger. The second time, I tried the Green Grape Smash and added cheese foam. I liked this drink better. The chunks of grape at the bottom kept the drink interesting. I got both drinks at 50% sweetness, but probably would have been better at 25% for my taste. Friendly staff, quick service. Parking is plentiful if not an easy in and out. That's how Old Town is. Note: There are 3 tables with bench seats, no extra chairs. At the storefront window, there's a bar table with 2 chairs. Wish they had a bit more seating. Maybe not the best place for a large group to hang out.

Jam Jam is actually as good as the reviews claim. Located in the heart of old town, the new shop feels like Paris meets Japan with pops of green on light wood. It's a very inviting space, though pretty small and limited in seating. The mango matcha drink I tried was perfectly sweet at 50% for me, and the little mango jammy bits really live up to its name. The matcha quality was solid as well. I ordered for pickup and it was ready within 5 minutes!

Seeing all the people walking in around Old Town Pasadena, made us waltz into this store, too. It was very crowded and busy, so I pulled up the information on Yelp, to find that it's five stars! I thought it must absolutely be good. After deciding what we wanted, we went up to the cashier to order. She did not talk and mumbled to us. We confidently ordered their white peach milk tea with boba and a brûlée brown sugar boba milk tea. She checked us out, but it felt pricey and weird. It was a weird customer service experience that I can't describe. We got our drinks after five minutes, and we sat there to take our first sip. The brûlée brown sugar MT was unimpressive. It was still very sweet for 50% sugar. The White Peach Milk Tea was... not for me. It was not sweet or what I had expected because I could taste the peach, but couldn't taste any tea. The boba was a good, sweet, chewy consistency. For a place with 100% five stars, you'd think it would be delicious and worthy of multiple visits. Sad to say, I don't think I will be coming back to this location. It was busy without reason, the drinks aren't good, and the price was a bit more than other boba locations.

I'm back to try some more drinks here. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. This time I got their coconut mango pomelo, green grape smash, ube cheese slush, and Thai tea slush to try. The coconut mango pomelo was super refreshing, had mellow fruity mangoy flaves, bits of pomelo pulp, milky coconut, and qq agar boba. The green grape smash wasn't sweet, had strong floral jasmine tea flaves with light bitter lime and grape flaves and grape chunks at the bottom. Not really for me. The ube cheese slush tho. MNM. Perfectly sweet, lightly nutty, vanillay, and yummy. And the Thai tea had good milky sweet tea flaves in refreshing slush form. Overall these drinks were lowkey pretty good. Coconut mango pomelo $6.95 Green grape smash $6 Ube cheese slush $6.75 Thai tea $6.75

#121 in my Teaholic Diaries. This newest location of Jam Jam took over the Sunright boba shop on Colorado. This means that despite the change of business, there's still no seating - it's grab and go only. After getting some suggestions from the bobaristas, I tried their Thai tea with creme brulee foam and a white peach milk tea. Sadly, the Thai tea was completely watered down, and I could barely taste the bold flavors typically associated with Thai tea. It's funny because the white peach milk tea had the opposite issue and was too overpowering. Overall, Jam Jam wasn't for me. I do recognize that everyone has different tastes and preferences though, so I would still suggest giving them a try and deciding for yourself. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Jam Jam is a cute little spot in Pasadena that just opened in January. I ordered the Mango Matcha Latte half sweet with light ice. It was good and the half sweet was perfect for my liking. This drink came with mango bits which is perfect if you're looking for a fruit forward matcha. The matcha is good, but if you're a matcha connoisseur I would order a different beverage as this will not sweep you away. This drink ranked #6 on the top 10 drink list. Target a top 5 drink if you make a stop and let me know how it is! The vibes are fun with modern wood interior and the place is great to chill and hangout for 15 minutes while you sip your beverage.

The ube cream top actually had a strong ube flavor instead of just sweetness and the matcha itself tasted high quality and nicely balanced. Sadly, I didn't enjoy the pandan latte much. I got it half sweet and could barely taste any pandan at all, and the espresso just wasn't really my favorite. Not terrible, just not something I'd go out of my way for. My husband liked it more than I did. Service was friendly and fast, and there's also a self serve kiosk by the entrance if you want to order quickly. The cafe itself is small with only a few tables, but it feels like a nice little spot to sit, chat, or get some work done for a bit. They also sell little Thai/Asian snacks and random knick knacks which was fun to browse while waiting for drinks (wound up with a bag of kimchi and salted egg yolk Lays). Conveniently located on the southeast side of Union and Lake too.
