A few days ago while shopping in Pasadena, I noticed that this tea shop had opened a new location And the location is honestly super convenient! There's a parking structure nearby that's only $1 for the first two hours! The shop is right on the main Pasadena street, and you'll constantly see people walking around taking photos with their drinks haha. Getting a drink here after shopping really boosts the whole happiness level Inside, the shop feels very clean and bright, with a simple and comfortable atmosphere. It's also a nice place to sit and relax with friends for a bit. This time my friend and I ordered several drinks and even brought some home for family too. Here are my favorites Coconut Mango Pomelo The mango flavor is really rich, and the coconut makes it super smooth. There are lots of toppings inside too! It totally gives summer vibes. Green Grape Smash Very refreshing, with a natural grape flavor. Ice cold and super thirst-quenching. Ube Cheese Foam Slush The cheese foam is rich and creamy, but not overly sweet. The ube slush is super smooth, and it pairs so well with the slightly salty foam Crispy Green Plum Slush I was worried it would be too sour at first, but not at all! It's really refreshing and one of my recommendations! Perfect for hot weather after walking around shopping. Rose Cream Coconut Jasmine The rose flavor is very noticeable, paired with coconut and jasmine tea. It's part of their Mother's Day special drinks and honestly really good! First time trying Jam Jam and certainly not the last. The space is very spacious and clean with some seating on one side. The staff that took our order was very nice and helpful. The menu isn't overwhelming but includes something for everyone, including options for kids. I tried the green grape smash fruit tea which is one of their more popular drinks. The combination of slush and creamy foam was fun in my mouth, but the ube flavor could have been stronger. The second time, I tried the Green Grape Smash and added cheese foam. I liked this drink better. The chunks of grape at the bottom kept the drink interesting. I got both drinks at 50% sweetness, but probably would have been better at 25% for my taste. We confidently ordered their white peach milk tea with boba and a brûlée brown sugar boba milk tea. She checked us out, but it felt pricey and weird. It was a weird customer service experience that I can't describe. We got our drinks after five minutes, and we sat there to take our first sip. The brûlée brown sugar MT was unimpressive. It was still very sweet for 50% sugar. The White Peach Milk Tea was... not for me. It was not sweet or what I had expected because I could taste the peach, but couldn't taste any tea. The boba was a good, sweet, chewy consistency. For a place with 100% five stars, you'd think it would be delicious and worthy of multiple visits. The coconut mango pomelo was super refreshing, had mellow fruity mangoy flaves, bits of pomelo pulp, milky coconut, and qq agar boba. The green grape smash wasn't sweet, had strong floral jasmine tea flaves with light bitter lime and grape flaves and grape chunks at the bottom. Not really for me. The ube cheese slush tho. MNM. This means that despite the change of business, there's still no seating - it's grab and go only. After getting some suggestions from the bobaristas, I tried their Thai tea with creme brulee foam and a white peach milk tea. Sadly, the Thai tea was completely watered down, and I could barely taste the bold flavors typically associated with Thai tea. It's funny because the white peach milk tea had the opposite issue and was too overpowering. Overall, Jam Jam wasn't for me. Lucy was very knowledgeable of the drinks and able to educate us on the grapefruit smash being made with mostly syrup, but does contain some pulp and that the tsubaki oolong is very floral. We placed our order on the Tea was prepared quickly! They are in the soft opening phase so if you write a review on yelp or Google, they will offer you 20% off your purchase!:) they plan on having a grand opening, where they will offer buy one get one drink drinks and a VIP card to the first 50 guests. The VIP card will offer Bogo for the first 30 drinks and lifetime 10% off. It is supposed to be one VIP card per party however, when I lined up for the diamond bar location, that rule was not enforced. Tsubaki oolong was a bit too floral for Mimie, even with 0% sugar. I always get a back up, which is usually the peach milk, tea or the snow jasmine milk tea with 0% sugar and aloe vera. :) read more

I've been to the Irvine location a few times last year because it was right by an animal hospital that was recommended to us by a friend for surgery and a few follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, it's too far from me just to pick up tea so I haven't been since. I wish there was one closer to me but there isn't. However, since I'm near the Pasadena area every weekend, this is a huge plus! I had told my gf that Jam Jam is one of my favorite tea spots of all-time so we took a visit because we were at the T-Mobile storefront less than a block away. We ordered for pick-up and our drinks were ready within 5 minutes! I ordered my favorite Green Grape Smash at 25% sweetness and got the same but with 50% sweetness for my gf. I loved my drink (no surprise) and she liked her drink. This new storefront may get crowded especially due to it being so small but the mobile ordering system is very easy and I 100% recommend it. You even get a cute little reusable bag with your to-go order. Jam Jam produces one of the best teas by far in Southern California and I highly recommend it. General consensus was that everyone loved their drinks and agreed that we would head back to try other drinks as we couldn't share. It's chill inside with a kpop music playlist; definitely heard music from IU. I got the Snow blossom jasmine milk tea. It was really good! I made no drink adjustments and it was fine as it. The sweetness level was just right. I got the taste of the tea. It's a great iced drink for a hot day. I ended up finishing it quicker than anticipated. I have been wanting to try this place, but the other locations were a bit too far - so glad they've opened one up nearby! However, the location of Old Town makes it hard to quickly stop by to grab a drink, especially if you're coming by on a weekend or Friday. There's also a ton of boba shops in the nearby vicinity. But we were eating dinner nearby and decided to check out Jam Jam Pasadena's soft opening. Menu is pretty straight-forward. I ordered a total of 4 drinks and they were able to get them out quickly. I believe I waited less than 10 minutes for my order. Out of the 4 drinks, my favorite would probably be the cheese barley milk tea. This was $6.95 at 75% sweetness. The barley was a nice surprise and made me feel like I was drinking something fairly healthy. Tea was on the slightly sweeter side, but everything went really well together. I also really enjoyed the green grape smash with added tea jelly ($6+0.75). Toppings are a little on the sweeter side, so even ordering 50%, it was a tad bit sweet for me. I liked the overall refreshingness of the grape and lime. I would definitely order this again. The phoenix oolong pure tea with cheese foam ($4. 95 + $1) did not taste good after the sweeter drinks. But when I retried it the next day, I could get the depth of the phoenix oolong and the creaminess of the cheese foam. Lastly got the classic milk tea with coffee jelly ($5.75 + 0.75). The sugar was not adjusted - and I thought this was way too sweet. The added coffee jelly added a layer of sugar that this drink did not need. Overall wasn't bad, but I'd probably get 50 or even 30% sugar next time. No place to sit - it's pretty much a grab and go drink stop. I would be back if I'm in the area but I don't know if I'd make the drink out to Old Town just go get a drink from here. read more

I believe they opened in the old Sunright spot and serve pretty similar drinks. Fruit options include grape, mango, grapefruit, passionfruit, tropical, and even a blueberry smoothie. Drinks are available as fruit teas or slushies, and they have all sorts of toppings like honey boba, agar boba, aloe vera, tea jelly, etc. Milk teas are also available but they're pretty milky. Prices are okay, about $7-8 for a cup. Overall on the sweeter side especially since some of the toppings (aloe vera) are sweet and 25% sweetness was sweeter than I hoped in the mango coconut. read more
