Brussel sprouts were good and nicely salted; I ate them all. We asked for them on the side for the skillet meal. Potatoes in the meatlovers skillet really hot from the pan and good to me. K said they were seasoned well. We substituted the hash browns for potatoes. K liked the ham & bacon. He substituted pepperjack for American cheese. K said the waffle tasted heavy like pancakes. They were not as light and fluffy as I like; however, the second day, the leftover waffle was awesome in the toaster oven. Syrup not as good as I like, but decent. Ken said he was a fan of the turkey sausage. I preferred the sausage that came in his skillet. The oj tasted freshly squeezed, but not K's taste. My daughter and I had a lovely brunch today with some friends. The two of us ordered a meat lovers skillet and smoked salmon Benedict and drinks. It came out to forty-something, which felt fair for the excellent quality, service, and ambiance. I highly highly recommend the eggs Benedict, probably the best I've had, maybe ever! We were 4 ladies who lunch this day. The booth we were sat at was spacious and clean. Our server was attentive until he was not. During our service, he disappeared for a prolonged anount of time. We each ordered an omelet and some other breakfast entrees. The coffee mugs are so big, you need a lot of creamer. They have a small dish at the table that holds creamers and sugar/sugar alternative. They also provide a thermal pitcher of coffee. The restaurant itself is large, very clean. It is decorated in white, grays and blacks. A word of caution. It is very loud. I can't believe this hidden gem was so close all this time! Last Saturday, after discovering an 81-minute wait at our original brunch spot, we decided to try Jam & Toast--and I'm so glad we did. I want to give this place like 4.5 stars but this was an awesome place! The food was great. I basically invented what I wanted and they made it happen. I noticed I wanted a fruity French toast, but those weren't any of the options so I asked for basically what's on the fruity waffle -- on a French toast and the chef did an awesome job! It was funny though because my friend got the raspberry puree on his breakfast and I guess we all just thought he was suppose to get toast or something with it and we told the server to tell the chef that the French toast would have been great with the raspberry puree and the server was like oh... that was suppose to come with yours. Oops! My friend got a chicken sandwich and it was amazing and my other friend got a classic breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc.) and everything was great! I liked their iced latte too because it wasn't too sweet. The only... not complaint, but thing noticed was that it took a long time from start to finish. I think they were short staffed maybe both servers and cooks. We had a 15 minute wait. Then we sat down. Then it took like 15-30 minutes to order and then another 15-30 minutes to get our food. It was okay for us because we weren't on a schedule, but if I was on a lunch break or something I definitely wouldn't have been able to come here. This is my fourth visit and I am never disappointed with the quality, the taste, the quantity. I can say it is my go to place for breakfast/brunch. It is very spacious with beautiful lighting with a lot of windows. The servers are very fast and friendly. I believe the owner? or perhaps the manager was in the hall helping out as well. That's always nice to see as a customer. Food came out quickly and usually I don't eat a lot for brunch but man I loved it and finished little bit of my omelette. Hi. It's my second time coming here after my boyfriend recommended it. The first time I came (Sunday 5/25) I was told they could not serve me as they closed at 3 ( I was asking for a to go order and it was 2:45pm). Although I was disappointed I understood that and left. Now today I'm very disappointed with my order. From the packaging to portion size to service. Everything was thrown together in a box and that wouldn't of been the issue if it wasn't for the fact that I had to drive back because they forgot our $5 orange juices which unfortunately is just bottled minute maids ( just wouldn't have ordered it if I knew, no shade to them for it) . I ordered the build your own breakfast with a waffle, they only gave me 2 pieces of waffles instead of a whole one. I also payed extra for Nutella and saw when I arrived back home the second time that they forgot it. Now I don't know how they usually serve in a sit down service but I was very disappointed with my to go experience. Beautiful brunch spot. They were pretty busy on Sunday but we were seated with a quick 5-10 min wait. Really enjoyed their coffee options. Our server took our order quickly but the food took a while to come out. We waited prolly 25-30 min for our food. I enjoyed my Nutella French toast. I would probably get some hashbrowns or the quinoa hasbrowns if you wanted something savory on the side. Hubby got the American breakfast which was good. He was really hungry so he also got biscuits and gravy. He didn't really care for the gravy. It didn't have much flavor. I would probably skip it. Would not recommend! Rude & Disconnected Bad Service, Lazy Employess Upon entering with my two-year-old son a waitress was walking up to us and I told her a table for two she grabbed two adult menus and I stopped her and asked her if we could have a kids menu that was sitting there with crayons and she switched one of them out. Disconnected and she made no eye contact when she was communicating with me. As we were walking to the table, she set us down and walked away. The table was way too high for my two-year-old to sit in so I had to get up and walk back to the front to ask for a booster or a highchair, someone else took care of that for us. as I was walking back to the table, I saw that there was an outside area to sit in, so I asked if I could sit in there because there was a strong dirty mop coming from the inside floor. The waitress that walked us outside. She seemed as if she had an attitude. She set us down, and she walked back inside as I was looking at the menu and another waitress came out and set a family across the patio. She went back in sometime, had passed and she came back out, and took their drink orders at that point my waitress still had not come out and when I looked inside, she was sitting at the bar, eating her breakfast a few more minutes and then I got up and walked out .... Tried this place for the first time after driving by it everyday and only living less than 5 mins away. Wow! The ambiance is beautiful, a lot of light in this establishment with white counters and tables giving you a pleasant and calm experience. The food was delicious, generously portioned, for a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly and attentive. Only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because the table where we were sat wasn't adequately cleaned and had a lot of crumbs underneath the table, otherwise, this could've easily been a 5-star experience. Visited Suwanee last week and decided on this place for breakfast. I can only say that I desperately wish I lived closer. I would be there every day! Absolutely the BEST eggs Benedict I've ever had in my life. And there are so many to choose from. I had the BAT Benedict. Bacon Avocado Tomato. Yum. The Hollandaise sauce was crazy good. Came with a huge side of home fries too. Grandson had the kids breakfast. Pancake, sausage, eggs and fruit bowl. We also had the Denver omelet. So good. My friends and I came before the breakfast rush started, and they sat us all the way in the back behind a wall. We didn't have a waiter for 15 minutes. The food came at an okay time, but when we were asking for the check, no one came to us. We even debated just paying up front to the hostess because our waitress did not check on us at all and took forever to give us the bill. Sadly, this place fell short today. Both food and service. Our server seated us after looking at us for a few minutes sitting at the bar having a drink eating eggs. Honest daydreaming, or more important than customers. They were not busy at all compared to recent visits. He seated us, handed us the menus, and asked if we were ready to order when we had not even looked at the menus yet. His soft tone, you could barely hear his words, certainly friendly but not trained or needs retrained. Ok, maybe he is new. My wife ordered a hot latte that tasted nothing like a latte, and yes, he made it. we noticed the exceptionally loud steam noises (never heard this loud before) from the expresso / coffee machine. Luckily, with enough sugar, anything can taste ok. She ordered the open face avacado plate with sunny side up eggs. It was ok. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet that comes with toast and hasbrowns (a lot of them). I substituted a biscuit for the toast and was disappointed. I also got the toast, was upcharged for the biscuit $4.00, and it was doughy inside, aka not cooked thoroughly. The liquid jam they serve is tasty, as was the omelet. Then we had to wait for the check, and he came to the table with the checkout machine. I found it very presumtious that the lowest auto suggested tip was 20%, and the other choices were higher. The service we received is more in line with 15% or 18% tops. My minimum tip is 20% unless we receive service that I deem as inferior to my expectations. The fact that they push 20% as the low end has me rethinking this places priorities. We will go again, but the service needs to get back to where it was in our last 6+ visits. Maybe they were not busy because the service and food have fallen off target. I hope they get this corrected as we like this place. read more

I ordered the traditional French toast ($9) with a side biscuit and sausage gravy ($6). Very tasty! Service was pretty good too. I came with a party of nine on Saturday at 12:30 and we only had to wait 15 mins before we sat down. Ordered almost immediately and we were eating within 30 mins of our arrival. It was during the week on a morning, and the wait was waaaay longer than usual especially for a weekday. They apologized to us & told us that they were short staffed. Once seated, our waiter took a little bit longer than usual to come and assist us. Not only were we hungry, but we were also craving coffee or tea to start off our morning. After a while, our waiter arrived, and did take care of our thirst needs however, the food took much longer to come out than expected, so much that you didn't want to ask for anything additional as to fear how long you'd be waiting. Pretty good overall - the place does get very loud with long wait times for getting your food on weekends. Couple of things to potentially note: - They no longer have gluten free bread and our waiter did not really understand what something being gluten free entailed, but we got it figured out. - The corned beef hash was made with ground meat, so not like a traditional corned beef hash. This was a very cute new find and I will definitely be coming back since it's so close to home. Honestly I feel like this area needed a new non-big chain brunch place. I feel like they must have opened recently since they still had the traditional Korean gifts to celebrate their opening. Aesthetically, it's definitely the vibe and I appreciate small touches like having pre-chilled glass water bottles and coffee stations for easy access by the wait staff. I'm not vegetarian but I got the veggie skillet because asparagus and brussel sprouts! To be fair all the skillets come with brussel sprouts which I thoroughly appreciate. I loved that it wasn't heavily seasoned and it felt fresh, organic and still very delicious! My partner got the southwest skillet and the sausage and steak were also great! The French toast wasn't it for me because it was drowned in Nutella but I know many people would love this. The service was great too! All very young staff but very attentive and friendly. So we hardly ever venture from our normal places that we eat but we had to be in this area. Also, please note, I hardly ever leave reviews and the ones I do are almost always to rave about a place, however... Jam and Toast has to be one of the worst breakfast/brunch places we have ever eaten. Although the place was somewhat empty we waited about 15 minutes for a table. No big deal, we figured that they were short on staff like everyone else. We sit down and it takes 10 minutes for our waiter to come over and take a drink order. One he drops off the drinks, we are ready to order but are unable to because he walked away so quickly. When he came back, we placed our order for the "All American Breakfast" for my wife and the Traditional French Toast with sausage for myself. Now remember the part about it being pretty empty and waiting? We waited at least 30 minutes for our food while we watched others that came in after us receive theirs. Our waiter never came over to tell us what was going on and right when we were almost ready to call the adventure over, the food came out. Again, I usually do not complain but everything was mildly warm, the french toast was hard, the pancake on my wife's mean was hard, the bacon was over cooked (and I like crispy bacon), the hash browns were very dry and plain. Finally, it was cold as hell! They took a book out of the Waffle House playbook and keep it as cold as humanly possible to make sure you eat and get out. Waffle House, however is only half the price AND it is part of their charm. OH and did I mention the 90 minute dining limit? Now I know why...it takes your food 30-40 of those to get there. Anyway, bottom line is that for all of this our check was $40 plus tip. So, I guess it is back to Oy! in Buford or the old standby Waffle House. Sorry for cheating on you Oy!
