First time at Jake's on our way home from austin. Learned there's several locations that we can visit - which was great news after looking over their menu! Ryan was helping out on the floor and was SO friendly. And the manager, jim stopped by to check on us as well. My husband had the kick in chicken fried bacon burger and gave it two thumbs up! Now to the star of the show: the KICKIN' CHICKEN FRIED BACON BURGER. Fresh double beef patties, Jake's hickory sauce, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, red onion, chipotle mayo -- and topped with two thick, deep-fried slices of chicken fried bacon. Let me pause right there. That bacon? Crispy, thick, and absolutely amazing. It complemented that burger perfectly. The texture alone was next level. Everything blended well. The poppy seed bun was different, but it worked. It held everything together without falling apart -- and that matters with a stacked burger like this. Now here's my honest transparency: the patty was a little overcooked for my liking. Not dry, but just a touch longer on the fire than I would have preferred. Dial that back slightly and this burger would be a full-on knockout. I also had the onion rings -- crispy, not greasy, solid choice. And let's not ignore the SPICY MANGORITA. Mi Campo Blanco, mango, jalapeño, lime, Tajín -- and yes, I had two. Smooth with a little kick, that sweet heat balance was working. If you like a margarita that flirts with spice but doesn't overpower you, this is it. Would I go back? Absolutely. Next time I'm trying the chicken fried steak. Should you find yourself in North Dallas and hankering for a chicken fried steak, allow me to recommend Jake's Burgers and Beers. A really good steak was the base, the coating was incredibly crunchy and packed with flavor. There was even a spicy heat that you don't typically find in one of these. The gravy is better than your grandma's and the onion rings were just as great. There's a 2nd bowl of gravy just outside the frame and I promise you that I dipped everything -steak, fries, rings, bread - until both bowls were gone. But the French fries steal the show - Wow, honestly some of the best fries I've had! The service is quick and friendly, prices are more than fair. I ordered the fries and they brought onion rings. But once I mentioned it, they have me a basket of fries. I was upcharged for the rings, but they were delicious and they more than corrected the mistake... just worth paying attention to your bill. A laid back burger spot with reasonable prices! Started with a cocktail and draft beer! My cocktail was good, but nothing crazy memorable. Now the burger was filling and huge! Only could eat half with my side of fries in order to still walk out of there comfortably lol . Their fries were bomb! Now, my better half and I have normally disagreed on burgers when it came to certain establishments. The burgers are bland over here, the burgers are too salty over there, blah blah blah. But one thing we always agreed on were the fries.....chili, cheddar, toppings, perfect fry, yada yada. Turns out Jakes is something we agreed on when it comes to burgers. Perfectly made and flavorful. As you can see by the pics, they are a good size and juicy. Got the Jalapeno cap burgers and buddy got a classic double cheeseburger. All were good. Buddy had his accompanied with sweet potato fries. Ordered a large cheddar fries which comes with chili, bacon and toppings, but she misheard and brought a small. Bummer! They were good but prefer them from a different burger place. Wings were crispy and sauced. Will definitely come back. I've eaten at Jake's off Midway and Beltway (across from The Londoner) many times, and it's always been a fun and friendly experience. Even though I don't usually partake in adult beverages, I like sitting at the bar because Jeff, the bartender, consistently provides excellent customer service. I have been wanting to check this place out since I moved to Dallas/Addison two years ago and I FINALLY made it here yesterday for lunch. I was very impressed with the food and the service! I sat at the bar, and the bartender was lovely. She was very patient, friendly, and helpful with myself and the other customers. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, fries, a chocolate shake, and an old fashioned. Everything was great! Seriously, everything! The burger was huge, and had great flavor! The fries were handcut and were really good. The shake was one of the best shakes I've had since moving to Dallas, for real! Also, it was served in the metal blender cup, which meant that I got a lot more than if it were served in an 8 oz. glass or cup. I appreciate that. My cocktail was well made and STRONG! Thanks girl! Arrived today after lunch crowd 1:15pm. 6-8 vehicles in the parking lot. Not busy with 2-3 at the bar and 2-3 tables occupied. Entered restaurant and seen by at least 4-5 employees, including what was likely the manager. Sat at the bar and waited for at least a greeting and drink order. Apparently we were off limits to other employees- not even a hello or welcome in. Bartender -Gaby H, finally appeared and despite seeing us - checked on an existing customer. That customer was kind enough to direct her to us. If alone I would have left and gone across the street to Rodeo Goat. Food came out reasonably fast. Good burger, fries and onion rings. Paid for two at just under $44.00 Left a generous $6 tip despite the slow service. Started going to Jake's-Flower Mound location years ago. Always good to great service- nice patio. This Midway location has been underwhelming since opening not too long ago. Rodeo Goat next time. read more

I love Jakes cheeseburgers! That are always fresh arrive hot even when delivered. EXCEPT December 30, 2025. The burger was so bad that I had to trash it with being able to eat it. The meat did not look or taste fresh, it tasted like it was made with frozen patties. It arrived Cold, like ice cold. The salad was so old the cucumbers were slimy and the lettuce was all pink. Is coming here for the past few years unfortunately the new ownership has made some poor decisions in changing their menu. First of all a patty melt is on Texas toast because they are no longer willing to purchase rye bread. Also, the infamous avocado toast is no longer on the menu due to poor sales. This makes no sense considering the ingredients for these items are staples on their menu. First rule of running a restaurant is don't mess with the menu. If it wasn't for Gabby and Jeffrey we definitely would not be coming here for the food read more

The service with Jessika was very good and she was very attentive to us I ordered the margarita swirl and it was very good! I added the grand manier as a floater and do not regret my choice. The appetizer was bottle caps and pickle chips were very very good the batter for the chips and bottle caps are not too crunch and are perfectly seasoned. The ranch? Was to die for! Very quality buttermilk ranch. The burgers were so good! I had the hickory hot burger and my date had the jalapeño bottle cap burgers and we thoroughly enjoyed our burgers and the Jake fries were amazing! We will definitely be back! Met up with a previous work associate for lunch at Jake's. After reviewing the menu, which covers a wide range of offerings, I went with the Cob salad. My salad and associate's salads arrived. The best burgers in town! Ordered the #48 with tots. One of the tastiest burgers I've had in my 57 years of existence, and the tots were haot and salty (like me).
