The best Mango sticky rice dessert!!! My new favorite dessert here! Everything is delicious!

What a wonderful experience! This place offers it all. Dim sum, sushi, poke bowls, noodle dishes, fun boba drinks and mango sticky rice. Servers were extremely kind and patient. Also helpful with the questions we had since we had never experienced dim sum before and was curious as to what many of the menu items were. She helped us narrow it down to a few and they all satisfied. Went with spicy pork bao, creamy egg custard bao, shrimp Shumai, Singapore noodles, shrimp poke bowl, and a few different beverages. The inside is small but roomy with fun graphics all around. Perfect spot for take out as well.

I came back recently to MoCha inside Jade Tree Asian Bistro. I ordered on the spot and waited about 10 to 15 minutes for the order to be ready. I had the matcha boba bun, the green tea mille crêpe cake, and the mango mille crêpe cake. The matcha boba bun comes in an order of 2 for $6.95. The bun had matcha and boba in it. It was hot and fresh. It had a good taste but didn't really taste like matcha and the boba consistency is what you would expect. The green tea mille crêpe and the mango mille crêpe cake were $6.25 each. The flavors were good, but it was extremely small. I was shocked at the price and the size of the crêpe cake. It was like 1/4 of a normal slice of a cake.

Pros: - Great location - right on Atwells Avenue - Kind & helpful service - Gluten-free soy sauce available by request - Delicious milk tea Cons: - Soupy sushi* *So much sauce! I got the Lucky Roll - spicy tuna, mango, tobiko, & spicy mayo. There was a conglomeration of goop on the top - an overly sweet mango puree & very mayo-y spicy mayo. The mango puree wasn't necessary, as there was fresh mango in the roll. The spicy mayo had no kick. The result was a sweet, fruity, mayo mush. I'll go back & try something else next time.

    Delicious sushi!

Absolutely delicious food. Crispy tofu was amazing and the veggie sushi was perfect. Even my non sushi eating husband loved it. Service was friendly and quick. Wish the location was easier to get to. Can't wait to go back tho!

This review is solely for their food. I never been to the restaurant in person, but I went to an event ordered their food. The food was so popular and was gone super fast. Some people went back to get more. I really enjoyed the food, the beef was tender and very flavorful. I also loved the noodles. I should try the restaurant in person some day.

I am a long time fan of Jade Tree, but this was my first time trying their NYE platter. My boyfriend and I got three rolls each, and we were absolutely floored by how delectable and plentiful the platter was. I felt that I was feasting from a cornucopia. The service was a little slow, although I can definitely understand that was likely due to the holiday. I love the vibe inside and posting up in a booth. I'm also obsessed with their food displays.

Ordered a secret bag @toogoodtogo for $6 picked up my order after work. Didn't realize the restaurant was located in the heart of Federal Hill - Providence amongst other great eateries, but parking is a challenge even for a quick pickup. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and a bit sleek and at the same time homely. Staff were friendly enough. Next time I do want to take the time to sit and eat or order a nice take out - the to go bags are very cool looking. Got home with my surprise order. Miso soup, delicious and healthy. A nice serving of Beef and Broccoli and a heavy hand of pork fried rice. Enough for two!

This review is just for their boba/tea drinks, as we didn't try any of their food offerings. The menu was quite extensive and it seemed like they had tons of drink and dessert options, especially. The mango tea was absolutely delicious. So refreshing on a hot day! Go for the mango popping bubbles, they are generous with their portion. Just note the bubbles tend to stick to the bottom of the cup if you don't slurp them up with the tea. The Tokyo Snow drink was also excellent, the perfect sweet to creamy ratio. There was once again a ton of the aloe and lychee toppings in there. I recommend for tea!

Tons of items for choose from on the menu. I have enjoyed many different sushi rolls here. The matcha milk tea is delicious as well (:

I am obsessed with this place. They have the best boba drinks. I have been way too many times in the last couple of months since I found it. I went in person for the first time and it's a cute place! They have you order through a machine in the front which was kind of cool. They also have so many food options, it's actually wild! From ordering my drink and them making it, it maybe took 5 minutes in total.

    Lana s.

I have ordered from here several times and each time it gets a little worse. For starters the delivery guy left my food out on the side walk in front of my buildings door where people like to urinate instead of waiting the 45 seconds it takes for me to get to the door. I get back upstairs and I open the food. Dumplings are burnt and soggy, chicken was ok but was more brown meat than white and menu specified white meat, and the moo shu was so over cooked and salty it was inedible. The two stars are for the fruit tea which was pretty tasty.

It is the size of my finger. $6 for this? It is not topped with matcha like the picture. It was like hey used a internet picture.
    Kimberly D.

Grub hub raiting high, but portions are tiny. I spent $75 and barely got anything. And am very disappointed. I bought a cake and it as the smallest piece of cake ever and looked nothing like the picture.

From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The vibe was spot on, the drinks were thoughtfully crafted, and the food was absolutely worth the trip. We ordered sides of hash browns and bacon. The hash browns were perfectly crispy...exactly how I like them. The bacon had great flavor, though I personally would have loved it a little crispier. Of course, the star of the show was the soufflé pancakes. We tried the Crème Brûlée, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Berry Compote flavors, and every single one was light, fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They were sweet without being overwhelming and perfectly suited our palate. I also tried the pistachio coffee. It was a little more earthy than I typically prefer, but if you're a fan of pistachio-forward flavors, you'll likely enjoy it. Overall, Capri delivered an exceptional breakfast experience.

Only reason I'm giving 1 star still is because the waitress was very nice and what happens in the kitchen is not her fault! I think her name is (Katy?) I can't remember exactly but she was super nice! We got there for 11:30 reservation. Waited 15 minutes before we were seated which I didn't love already because there's no waiting area and nowhere to sit where the restaurant is so you have to stand around waiting for the table. Well by the time we left there I finally understood why we had to wait another 15 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We ordered our food and drinks and got our drinks fairly quick but the food took way too long considering that it's breakfast items and they didn't have that many tables to begin with even including inside dining. Our pancakes took almost 40 minutes to come out and our sides never even came out with the pancakes which I thought was weird. The sides didn't come out for another almost 15 minutes. By the time everything was out my son was getting fussy so I just asked for everything to be packed up to go. The high chair was also dirty and oily with food still on the sides and not cleaned at all. I was talking to the family that sat next to us because the waiter who brought out their food messed up and brought their sides to another table dropped it off then found out the food was not at the right table and brought it straight to the right table after it's been sitting at the wrong table for a few minutes at that point! That family also said they waited a really long time for their food and their food didn't all come out at the same time either so it seems like this is normal. I also went to ask the hostess how much longer for our food before our pancakes came out few minutes later. She asked me how long it's been since I put in my order I said about 30 min already and she said oh that's sounds about right. So that just proves that food normally take this long to get out to the table! I'm used to way shorter wait times for breakfast foods this just didn't seem normal to me. Let's get to the food! I had the original pancakes with the blueberry and strawberry, got a side of scrambled eggs, sausages, and home fries. For drinks I got a fresh orange juice and my sister got the Dubai chocolate latte. The Dubai chocolate latte was delicious and so was the orange juice but definitely over priced for the portion size, but I guess it's acceptable being federal hill prices for most people? Personally I thought it was way overpriced not just the drinks but everything considering the proportions. The pancakes were ok didn't taste as eggy as I expected being that it's supposed to be more egg based which is totally fine the texture was good. The strawberries on top I thought were going to be fresh strawberries but it seems like it's more of a compote. The scrambled eggs were a little too charred for my liking I've never really had scrambled eggs charred before. Potatoes were ok for the most part in terms of flavor but my sister had some that were still kinda undercooked and hard. The sausages were really flavorful. Overall I don't think we'll be returning or recommend this place for the breakfast at least. Way overpriced and not worth the hype.

First of all, the restaurant itself is small but very cute, cozy, and full of lovely New England-y Sea-Themed decor. We were promptly seated and had our order taken for our drinks & food - I had heard good things about this place, so I got a decent amount of food items, including: Lobster Roll - Arguably the best lobster roll I've ever had so far in my life. The brioche bun for it was soooo fluffy, soft, and a perfect complement to the big, juicy chunks of lobster that were seasoned and buttered JUST right. Also came with hefty and well-seasoned fries. New England Clam Chowder - Came with salted pork and potatoes in addition to the quahog clams. It was deliciously creamy and soothing to slurp on and the chunks within were all so tender and a great contrast. Clam Cakes - Added them to the Clam Chowder order for an extra $8. Big, hefty, doughy balls that were perfectly fried outside and ooey gooey within. Fish & Chips - Big, hefty fish that was juicy & delicious with a great crunch on the outside! Similarly came with the 'chips', or the hefty, well-seasoned fries that the lobster roll also came with. Oh yeah, pardon me, forgetting to mention the drinks! We ordered the Briny Martini and the Harbor House Punch! The Martini was great for a stronger drink and the Punch was a nice cocktail for anyone preferring something sweeter and fruitier. When it came to the food, service, and dining experience...it couldn't have been better! Everything was incredibly delicious and definitely worth ordering. This memorable experience then reached exceptional circumstances, however, as while we were in the middle of dining here and enjoying our delicious food, there was a shooting occurring just up the street at Brown University. I wish to commend the staff at Dune Brothers, who looked out for mine and their other patrons' safety and sheltering us in their restaurant as we all nervously waited for more information on what exactly was going on that evening. Exceptional circumstances aside, this restaurant is also exceptional when it comes to the quality of their food and service. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Providence!

I ended up going alone this time, but I came back with enough leftovers and commentary to share that the whole experience could easily be pieced together in anyone's head pretty clearly. The first thing that stands out is the setup. It's casual in the best possible way. Nothing pretentious, nothing overworked. You walk up, order, wait a bit, and then suddenly you've got seafood in a paper tray that somehow tastes like summer even when you're wedged into a busy city block instead of sitting by the water. There's a kind of controlled chaos to it, especially during peak hours, but it moves. I went with the absolute classics without hesitation: a fried fish sandwich and a side of fries, plus a lobster roll that, frankly, looked like it was built for someone who doesn't believe in restraint. The fish sandwich was the standout. Crisp coating, flaky inside, not greasy in that heavy way that ruins a good fry. The bun held together without collapsing into mush, which is always a small victory in a city seafood spot. The fries were solid, nothing revolutionary, but they did their job without trying to steal attention from the main event. The lobster roll was more of a classic Rhode Island style than anything over-complicated. Generous chunks, lightly dressed, and not drowned in filler. It leaned into freshness rather than gimmicks, which is exactly what you want when you're this close to the water. It didn't feel like it was trying to reinvent anything, just execute the basics well enough that you stop thinking about it and just eat. What I like about places like this is that they don't overpromise. Dune Brothers isn't trying to be a white-tablecloth seafood restaurant, and it doesn't need to be. It's quick, it's reliable, and it feels like it belongs in downtown.

At their front patio, they had the World Cup game playing, but the back patio felt cozier so we opted for that. The inside though was a strong second since the lighting is very low, creating a cool and calm environment. Walking through the restaurant to get to our table made me realize that each table is unique, no two are decorated the same or have the same furniture. It was a hot day but the overhead mesh cover blocked out a lot of the sun. Our waitress made us feel very welcome from the start and told us about their drink and food specials. My friend ordered Guatemalan beer as well as a Spanish beer. For food, we ordered the plantain fries, octopus, calamari, and shrimp salad, and grilled lamp chops. The seafood salad came out first. According to the menu, it was going to be paired with cornbread. It looked like sourdough bread but had a far denser consistency. I was expecting the salad to have lots of shrimp to act as a filler but surprisingly, it was about 60% octopus, 25% calamari, 10% shrimp, and 5% onions. The seafood was very flavorful, tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was great for two. Next came the plantain fries, which I was least impressed with as it was essentially fried plantain chunks. I think it would have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces that can be easily dipped and consumed in one bite. The plantain was gently ripe, so just a little sweet and the dipping sauce was like a less sour sour cream. Lastly, the lamp chops came out and the presentation was wonderful. They were a bit skinnier and less tender than that I was expecting, but flavor wise they were good. We enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here.
