We use to go to the 7 moons in NK and loved it. we live in Coventry so we were thrilled when they opened here. we found, early on, we did not like the Coventry restaurant as much and kept going to NK. A year or so ago, a friend from N.C. came to visit. He was from NK, and wanted to go to the Coventry 7 moons. we told him it wasn't that great. he really wanted to go. we are so glad we did! it was great! since then we have gone back we have brought all our out of town guests, and my husband and I I go at least 1 X a month. my husband loves the spicy tuna sushI and general taus shrimp. I like the beef and broccoli and crab Rangoon . They also have a great lemon chicken. The bartender and I think manager, Steve, is great guy and makes it a habit of remembering our names and what we drink. When he can, he always chats with us. I recommend if you tried it in the past and didn't care for it, you give it another chance. YUM read more

I love going to Seven Moons. I always go with my girlfriend who lives in Coventry. It always has great food, great booths, delicious mai tai drinks, and no rush while we catch up. The ambiance is welcoming and Steve is so nice who works at the location. They have a great crab Rangoon. I usually get a combo meal and their fried rice is one of the best I ever had. I have never had a bad meal and I go 4-5 times a year for a few years. read more

We heard a lot about this spot and decided to try it out while in the area. The decor is a bit dated but the new plates are lovely!! We were greeted and seated right away and our order came out quickly. We opted to try the shrimp tempura followed by Kung Pao and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Both were served with fried rice and eggroll. It pains me to leave a review that is less than stellar, but I have ordered takeout twice and I am just not impressed with the food. I have tried both sushi as well as a couple appetizers and chicken dishes, and everything was just okay. Given the prices it's not worth it for me. The sushi was fairly bland. The Szechuan chicken I ordered tasted more like a garlic sauce with too much MSG and sugar. Very run of the mill genericized Chinese food. This is now a go-to takeout place when I am in RI - extensive menu, reasonable prices, tasty food. There is a dining room but I have not seen many people eating in when I have gone for pickup. Compared to the flagship Seven Moons, the dining area is much smaller but looks totally fine. I would recommend any of the noodle dishes (pad thai, singapore noodle, lo mein), moo shu (good texture, nice smoky flavor), or one of the chicken entrees (w/ string bean or broccoli). I'm just gonna tell it like I see it. 1) We we're running late so we decided on Seven Moons Coventry for some quick take out.We usually go to Dragon Palace but figured I'd give Seven Moons a try...again....(last time the food tasted ,,well,,bland The person that answered the phone was courteous. I asked if a small order of wonton soup would be enough for 2. She suggested the large order and I ordered that along with combination egg foo young and pork fried rice. When we got the order home we noticed that we were charged for a Lg soup but only got a small one. We called and asked for a credit to our card and the mgr said no, but we could come in anytime for the value owed to be taken off the next bill ,($3.50). The soup was "ok", the other two dishes were bland. We did not finish it .. Threw it out... OK, I don't want to rag on a small establishment, so I won't. I will just eat my $3.50 loss and that's that. This one gets 2 stars (courtesy). This one is now crossed off the list, which. Is a shame.. That is all.!!! read more

We ordered takeout via Uber Eats from Seven Moons for the first time ever last night. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. I didn't care for the chicken too much, but I did enjoy the rice - it was tasty. I'm not sure if I would try this restaurant again; it was just okay compared to Dragon Palace. read more

In the past I have given this restaurant three stars but this time I give it four stars. Maybe it was just our menu choices that made the difference. I had a mango frozen margarita that was very good although it didn't taste at all like mango to me. Mike had a Sapporo beer and it came in small and large which was nice. We got lettuce wraps for an appetizer and they were really very good. Tasty and seasoned but they could've use just a little bit of sauce on the top. I got mu shu chicken and it was excellent, Mike got the pad Thai with all different kinds of meat on it and it was really very good. I would definitely try this restaurant again. read more

My wife and I went there for the very first time tonight, we had a very good meal. The fried dumplings were fantastic as well as the General Tso's Chicken and Spicy Shrimp and Scallops. The atmosphere was very nice and extremely clean. It looks better in the inside than the outside. This is the best Chinese food we've had since living in RI. Very close to what's offered in the NJ/NY area. Ignore the bad reviews. Most folks in RI have no idea what good Chinese food (or pizza) is supposed to taste like. read more

This was my second time ordering take out from this restaurant. The first time it was perfect. The second time, not so much. We were quoted a 40 minute pickup time and when we arrived to get it, our order was missing. After 15 minutes of waiting, our order was brought out to us. There was another gentleman waiting who's order was also missing. When we got our food home, it was ice cold. I'm taking ice cold, not lukewarm. Ice cold like it had been in the refrigerator for days. To make matters worse, our order of noodles seemed like it had not been cooked at all. The pasta was cooked, but the sauce and spices were just sitting on top as if it hadn't touched a frying pan. I'm sure we will give them another shot but this experience definitely left a lot to be desired. read more

Been coming here on the regular since opening, definetly a better quality than other local restaurants, i like to try different meals and i am definetly happy especially with the scorpion bowl, always spotless inside and service is consistently good. Not sure why they don't have better reviews. The food is great much better than the local ones I've had (dragon palace). We always go to the branch in North Kingstown but this is much closer. The general tso is delicious, our favorite is Ronin Roll (it was a tiny bit spicy but my family and I love spicy food so just a heads up, I know most people can't handle spicy foods unless...they're used to it) I don't rlly eat lomein either but I like theirs! Decided to try this semi new Asian restaurant for dinner. It didn't have quite positive yelp reviews so we were kind of iffy about coming. The atmosphere is pretty decent and it's quite roomy. The area is clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. We ordered dragon roll and spicy scallop roll for sushi. The presentation looked nice but the dragon roll lacked eel sauce so it was rather bland. The spicy scallop was decent but nothing spectacular. We also ordered the chicken wings Thai style. It was 12 wings and it was okay for my taste buds. I found the chicken wings rather dry, the flavor was okay. Lastly we ordered pan fried noodles with beef. The dish was good but the noodles were skimp. Overall it's decent food, but will be back to try my all time favorite chicken with garlic sauce. Hopefully that will be to my liking. I ate at this establishment during the first week of 2021. Overall, I will say that it was decent. I think there are better Chinese restaurants in the state, but this place is good spot if you happen to be in the area. The food was decent and came out promptly. Our server was attentive and checked in on us at least once. I ordered the Hunan chicken combination plate. I wish the dish had a little more of a kick to it. Additionally, the fried rice wasn't 'dark enough' and contained peas and carrots. In my opinion, this is a big red flag when looking for a good fried rice, but that's just me. Everyone has their own preference. I also ordered a shrimp roll and I thought it was good, and tasted fresh. This place could be a little better, but it could've also been far worse. I had been a customer for over 15 years and I would come in the semi regularly to order some fairly expensive sushi. A couple of weeks ago I ordered dinner for my family to be delivered which was delivered but it was like an hour late and plus they left out something in there which I called and they said they would give me a credit for it. They left out a side of broccoli which is like this is ridiculous, but it's the point in the principal thing so I called after I had been there been humiliated after I had just spent $70 in the restaurant and I brought that up so they wanted to give me a dollar back as a credit. I'll tell you do not go there if you can help it because they'll treat you like you're OK when you're spending the money but if there's a problem they will give you a hard time they humiliated me and I let them do it because I wanted to give them a lesson in being professional to a customer many times. Stopped in for a drink and sushi , ended up with a large to go order! We started with crab rangoons and a dinosaur roll, probably the best sushi we have ever had and the best crab rangoons by far! Freddy took care of us at the bar, we had a mango martini and a mai tai, (they are not afraid to use their liquor) he was extremely hospitable and very attentive, chilled our glasses and even brought the rest of our order outside when it was ready. Having been to the north Kingstown location dozens of times and always had a great experience, I was happy to see they were opening a new location that was more convenient for me. The day we went, the bartender quit, five people walked out refusing to pay for their food either because it was cold when served or took forever to receive. We sat at the bar. The help seemed to be unorganized and confused. The menu only offered Chinese food. No Thai or Sushi. My food came out cold. Wife's was Lo Mein consisting of noodles with very little meat.
