Weird place. They just don't seem to want to serve people. As far as I could tell there were only 3 people working the entire restaurant. Three tries is enough. The cauliflower appetizer was exceptional, but the entrées were not good. The Java pork chop, which used to be the Java pork loin, was very overcooked, and dry. The wife's crabcakes were also overcooked and bland. Other tables around us were also upset at the wait and a few of them were given incorrect entrées. Our waiter Alex was awesome, but could only do so much. The remodel is nice, but it's gonna take a few more weeks at least for the kinks to get smoothed out. I'm still gonna return, just because of the Goodwill they have accumulated over the last couple of decades. I think they'll get back to their rightful spot.
