Most of the time it's after work and I really don't want, let alone need, company. His comment gave me anxiety as I wondered how I would politely tell this man I wanted to dine alone. When he brought the dessert he did not join me but made sure to say "I'll be back for a few bites." Maybe it was a joke but to me it was very odd and made me pretty uncomfortable. The wife's crabcakes were also overcooked and bland. Other tables around us were also upset at the wait and a few of them were given incorrect entrées. Our waiter Alex was awesome, but could only do so much. The remodel is nice, but it's gonna take a few more weeks at least for the kinks to get smoothed out. I'm still gonna return, just because of the Goodwill they have accumulated over the last couple of decades. I think they'll get back to their rightful spot.
