Not sure if the "new manager" is still working here, but he's the reason my family and I haven't ordered from them in many months. The manger was, in all honesty, a complete jerk on the phone. I mean a real serious jerk. I still can't believe I even finished the order with him. He started off by answering the phone with a "I'll get to you in a minute." Then, when I did order my food, I used the term "medium" level of spice, which is the way this restaurant has described, a lesser level of spicy than normal, to me every time I've ordered. Instead of clarifying what I wanted, he practically shouted that they only have one size and that he wasn't making an exception. I told him I wasn't asking for a smaller portion to which he rudely said, "what do you want then?" When I tried to indicate that I wanted the dish less spicy than normal, he told me I wanted "no spice at all." I said that he was incorrect and that I wanted a medium level of spicy, which was how I've always ordered it. He then said I wanted a "mild" version of the dish as if he was scolding me for ordering it wrong. I said "mild and medium" are two separate levels of heat in the spice world, but hey, make it whatever way he thinks would work. It only got worse from there. I haven't ordered from them since then. We now order from Family's Chinese Restaurant. One last thing, apparently to him, "mild" not only means no spice, but also a smaller portion size, because that's exactly how the dish arrived. Every time I order, the food comes hot and is always delicious. It does take roughly 30-45 minutes for delivery, but so worth it!

Love their food. We always order here. The small size of anything is still huge and we always have left overs. Super fast delivery and they are always very nice. They use to keep our credit card and address on file and that was very convenient and we never had a problem with it. They don't do that anymore for some reason but I never asked why. People probably got nervous and they stopped. I've been ordering here for YEARS and never have had a problem! read more

Well, let me begin by stating that I am 5 months pregnant and we ordered from here several times before I wrote this complaint. I ordered about 60 dollars worth of food for my family on Sunday nite and I specifically asked for EXTRA DUCK SAUCE!!! When my husband picked it up he asked the lady at the desk (wicked rude lady btw)..."is the extra duck sauce in here?" "Oh, yes." she said. He gets home...NO DUCK SAUCE! I call her.....I ask what happened. She rudely places me on hold and says "You only get one duck sauce when u order 60 dollars worth." I say back..."I ordered extra and u charged me for it! How does ONE sauce cover all this food?" I wont go back. I was so mad I thought I was going to induce labor! Im fed up with getting wripped off from restaurants and for some reason this place seems to think bc they get business they can treat people however they like.....GOOD RIDST! I just ordered from Jade 3 at 8:30pm and the company that i work for has a night shift that i work we have lunch at 9. I went to go pick up my food and they were closed at 9. My problem is that evey other place that i go to will stay open until i pick up my food. This place closed and refused to let me get my food now i have to wait until 3am to get something to eat. I must select a star rating so im giving this place a one star because i have to otherwise I would give it 0 stars. read more

We recently moved to the north shore and have not had anything delightful as far as Asian, Chinese, till now! Perhaps we were spoiled living in such an ethnic location for the past several years. Jade 3 is great! We have found out local Chinese! woo-hoo affordable, fast, friendly, and most important tasty! i am contemplating seconds as I type. You won't be disappointed. Love this place. Highly recommend delivery they are always quick on the most part, and drivers are very nice. Also food is amazing always very hot and fresh. Very nice to me as a customer and give a sense of connection. Fave dishes is Gen Chicken and Crab Rangoons. The 5 dollar all day special are wicked good too. You get mounds of rice and appetizers and wont leave hungry when dining alone. Restaurant is my fave Chinese place around and have to try when coming into Amesbury. read more

One hour for delivery on a week day from less than a mile away? How is that okay. Never again.

We live in Amesbury and this is our go-to for Chinese take out. Well have always experienced pleasant service both at the counter and delivery. The food is always scrumptious, fresh & flavorful. The folks that own and work here are very nice. But I stopped going there even though I love and crave chinese fast food, because it's so hit or miss. One time the fried rice is fresh, next time it's gummy or dry like it's old. Anything with stirfried vegetables is a gamble, again one time the veggies are crisp, next time limp and sometimes inedible. You would think a popular item like kung-pao or chowmein would be fresh every time, or on the busy weekend it would always be fresh, but no. I have had visits where I could have leftovers the next day and they were passable, other times I had to pick around the already old stuff the first day and throw the rest out. I don't know this for fact, but it's ALMOST like sometimes the food is from the day before, and that's not cool with fast food. It really irks me because as a food service professional, you would HAVE to know you're selling sub-par food, that's not cool either. So my suggestion to them is, make it fresh ALL the time, even if you have to boost the prices or extend the wait time to do it, and you'll get my business back. read more

SO I have ordered delivery from this place and it was okay but forget going in to get anything. I walk in and a gentleman is leaning all over the counter talking to the women behind it, I wait a few minutes then look down at my phone to take note of the time wondering how much longer I am going to be waiting almost as a experiment, and 15 minutes latter they are still chatting, very aware of me waiting but not stepping to the side, and she is not asking him to step to the side to take my order. All of the cooks behind the counter in the open kitchen can also see me waiting and do not step up to ask me what I would like or tell her the proper thing to do is wait on the customer. I walked out with no food and have not ordered delivery or gone back since and do not plan to. very disappointed at the service. read more

Honestly, best sweet and sour soup I've ever had. Ever. Generous portions of everything! Delivery service is great, very polite and will call when they arrive. My boyfriend and I get a large order of sweet and sour soup and split an entree and its plenty! read more

We go here all the time. The people are friendly the food is good as are the portions and prices.

Very disappointed the last 3 times we have called for take out they have messed up our order and forgot to bring something. We call to tell them and they expect us to wait over an hour for the food they forgot. By the time it gets here the rest of the food is either gone or cold. And they don't offer any money back.
