Crab rangoons and chicken fingers after we ate some.
    Laura D.

I only took off one star for price. It is definitely overpriced. The food was great though. I was born and raised just a few minutes from their flagship restaurant, Kowloon in Saugus, MA, so the food at 9 Dragons is not new to me as it's pretty much a smaller scale Kowloon. I live in southern Maine now so it's an hour or so drive to Kowloon. It's only 25 minutes to the Brook and 9 dragons. The decor is dark and what I would call kind of vampy, in a good way. We got our favorites and one new thing. We had chicken fingers, crab rangoons, pork fried rice, and the new to us was the night market popcorn chicken. It was so good! So was the sauce it came with. The night market chicken was described as an Asian Chick-fil-A , and I agree! The nuggets were lightly breaded and seasoned with Chinese 5 spice, so they had a subtle cinnamon flavor. The sauce wasn't spicy, it was just good, almost like a honey mustard. The chicken fingers are lightly battered, unlike most that are all batter and little chicken. The crab rangoons are my favorite of any crab Rangoons! They're not sweet like most, the filling had a very well balanced flavor. They came as an order of 5. I think the fingers were an order of 5 as well, but I'm not sure. The pork fried rice is not greasy. The ambiance is kind of dark and noire, and you don't hear the sounds of the casino from inside the restaurant. After a 20% tip, our order of 5 crab Rangoons, 5 chicken fingers, pork fried rice, night market chicken, a Pepsi and a margarita mocktail (no alcohol) came to about a $100. It was good but definitely overpriced for what we got, but then it is in a casino, so that is probably why it was pricey. I'd go again if I didn't feel like dealing with rte one traffic in Saugus, MA or the hour or so drive to get there, but I wouldn't make 9 Dragons a place to go to on the regular. Side note- we went for the casino too. Small time slot player, I turned $20 into $50 then cashed out. Haha.

    Chicken wing Saugus style

No reservations. So just walked in at 6pm and put my name on the list. Host said it's around 45 mnts (Saturday night) . Waited at the lounge Forbidden city and quite surprise with the mai tai. Better than what I expected. The Jin tiki is a a bit off balance, too much orgeat. I also got scorpion (for 2 people). Small tight drinks menu, good enough for me. Probably 30-45 mnts, host told me that table is ready. I just carried my scorpion mug (in a shape of bring good luck cat ) with me. Ordered chicken wing (Saugus style), 3 cup cod dish and also shrimp with lobster sauce. Chicken wing is good and tasty Unfortunately both of the main dish is too salty. 3 cup cod is so salty I just can't eat it without gulping water. Shrimp with lobster sauce also salty but less. The flavour is okay, it just the salt is too much. Service is great. I think the server is Rafaela.

We arrived at 5pm on a Friday and there was plenty of seating. The host was friendly, and Rafaela, our server, was attentive. We sat in an intimate semicircle booth. The ambiance is mind-blowing, the art is gorgeous, nothing like this can be found elsewhere in the Seabrook area. We ordered a Mai Tai ($13) and it was made perfectly and was quite potent. Two of ththose knocked me on my ass. The food was average. My Vietnamese Steak was overdone and the portion was tiny for the price. The $6 side of rice was dry. The wonderful manager stopped by and confconfirmed that the steak wasn't up to standard and discounted our check. I would return only if I had a good night at the casino. Otherwise, there are better value options in the area. However, I highly recommend The Lounge. It's cozy and intimate. Enjoy!

Food was delicious and our server was great! Will definitely be back again soon. He made losing all our money at blackjack more bearable

House fried rice was absolutely delicious! Everything cooked to perfection!

9 Dragons is located inside the Brook casino. The decor is pleasant as was our hostess. We arrived after five on a Thursday night and it was somewhat busy. Our waitress was prompt and took our drink order. Husband had a ginger ale and I ordered their Mai Tai. Mai Tai arrived in a slim frosted glass with a beautiful flower. I found this drink a little too sweet. We ordered boneless spare ribs, fried chicken with a sweet chilli dipping sauce and the house fried rice. Ribs seemed to be of poor quality, very fatty in parts and the meat itself was hard to chew. The chicken was not fried correctly. It's was very doughy and not crisp at all. The fried rice was excellent! Cooked perfectly with plenty of shrimp, meat and vegetables. Overall, I expected the food to be much better. Maybe it was an off night but I don't think I would return.

This is now officially my go to Chinese spot!! I loved everything about it, from the second you walked through the casino you could tell it was going be a great experience. Went around 6 pm on a Friday night and we were able to get a table without having to wait. The service. Shoutout to Cristina her knowledge, warmth, jokes, and smile made our experience unforgettable. From stunning LED art to the vibrant decor, every detail designed left me in wow. I give the you 9 Dragons in seabrook, New Hampshire What we got: Dragon of the year A classic Mai Tai, elevated. Captain Morgan White Rum and Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum, lime, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao, orgeat, and fresh mint. Mikan Agave Tequila, tangerine, and yuzu with a touch of agave. chicken wings / chicken fingers / boneless spareribs / crab Rangoon / pork fried rice

We heard about 9 dragons on the radio and my husband and I had a great laugh since we didn't expect the food to be any good. We had been to Kowloon years ago, and the food was so so. I googled 9 dragons and out popped some gorgeous photos of the place. My husband remembered the space as the old racetrack and was curious as well. This weekend we stopped in to dine and was blown away by the decor. This is a gorgeous restaurant. Lovely photos of Chinese movie stars and an ongoing video of an old film. Neon signage. It is pure Hong Kong inspired nostalgia. The menu carries crowd favorites such as General Gaos chicken- light not greasy delicious, the boneless ribs-or char siu in Chinese served with a fresh made mango salsa and a crispy scallion pancake . Food was very good and prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality. And the service here was wonderful.

They're comparing 9 Dragons to Kowloon in Saugus, MA. 9 Dragons is nothing like Kowloons. This new restaurant is very good on its own. However, their menu is incredibly small with limited choices. What we ordered was very good with a great presentation. Our server did a great job. The place is nicely decorated and very comfortable. If go there thinking its Kowloon's twin, you'll be disappointed. Go there to try a new Chinese restaurant. It is on the pricey side. Dinner for 2 with no cocktails, was just under $100. Bon Appétit!!!

The Porchetta heavily relied on the pork and the sear, seasoning and proper cooking of the meat. It pulled apart easily, had a nice thin crust on it and was plenty tender while also juicy.
