Food was good just small portions. Noodles are real noodles and very good chicken wings! Shrimp fried rice could've had more shrimp only 3-4. Not bad at all though.

Price hike understandable. The tood they have not acceptable.

Man!!! What a rude bunch. They treat you like they are doing you a favor. Girl behind the counter seemed like I was a bother asking what the price is for my food. There is this big note that says prices are increasing and menu prices may not reflect the current price..... so I ask.. I should have just turned around and left. My food better be good or I'm changing this to a one star.

Wow! Check out the really high ceiling at this Chinese restaurant. It feels like I'm at a car showroom. Before heading over to the beach area, I stopped at Asian Wok Express for some lunch. The parking situation is a bit tight, limited parking along the adjacent wooden fence/concrete jersey barrier, which separates an apartment complex. The layout of the restaurant is long and narrow with the takeout counter to the left (no open kitchen) and the casual dining room to the right and the ceilings are really high, enough for a second story, with plenty of natural light coming in. Okay the food, they offer traditional Chinese dishes, Cantonese, Szechuan, & Mandarin dishes with Lunch Specials, All Day Specials, and Dinner Combination Specials. See the menu at http://www.geocities.com/hamptonwok/ I ordered Lunch Special T21: Shrimp Lo Mein ($5.95 plus tax) with pork fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and choice of soup, though I had to ask for the soup after I paid. The food was ready in 10 minutes. The lo mein was wide tender noodles and tender shrimp and vegetables. The spare ribs were very sweet and chewy and the hot & sour soup was excellent, a good spicy taste. I couldn't finish the food in one sitting, so I had the tasty leftovers later on for dinner. NOTE: No personal checks accepted

This is my best friend, Brad. Today is his day off, but when he's working, he puts together the best fried wontons around. Prepare your taste buds when this guy is around.

I'm giving this place 4 stars for two reasons. #1 the food was DELICIOUS and #2 the customer service was impressive. I'm not sure if the cook/ order taker/ waiter lol was the owner but he was super friendly, professional and very attentive. The dining area could use a bit more TLC and updating. But hey the place was clean and if your out and about for lunch or quick dinner, then this place is it. I ordered the chicken in hot garlic sauce. WOW! Very tasty, the meat was tender, the veggies nice and crisp. My friend had the shrimp with lobster sauce and she too was raving about how tasty it was. I was shocked solely because she's a picky eater. Stop by and try for yourself you won't regret it!

Sesame chicken dinner combo, and egg rolls - very good!

Great Chinese food. I have been here two times and both times I was very pleased. I think the meals are large and economically priced. Their House Fried Rice is delicious! It has tons of meat - shrimp, beef, and chicken. Their chicken wings were surprisingly addicting. Moist and lightly flavored. The egg rolls are fantastic as well. Also, good service from the person who took my order over the phone, and from the lady at the cash register.

    9 Dragons - General Gau's chicken

9 Dragons is the sister restaurant of the legendary Kowloon restaurant on Route 1 in Saugus, MA…read more While 9 Dragons was opened by the same family and still offers some of the same dishes as the original restaurant, this place is quite the glow up from the Kowloon in regards to the food, atmosphere and service. The restaurant itself is stylish and intimate. The space boasts eye catching decor from neon signs and a mahjong tile doorway to big murals and light fixtures in the form of umbrellas and lanterns. The menu is printed to look and feel like a Hong Kong Hollywood newspaper which I also thought was really cool. The menu here is smaller and more focused than the one at the Kowloon, but I did see that it still offers a handful of the Kowloon's signature dishes. In the case of this restaurant, I definitely feel that the limited menu is essential to producing higher quality dishes. We shared a scorpion bowl cocktail for two, which was served in a cute beckoning cat drinking vessel. For food we got the scallion pancake, the General Gau's chicken and the Brussels sprouts. The food came out about ten minutes after we ordered which initially made me a little bit nervous about the food quality, but once we dug in we could tell that the food was quite fresh. The scallion pancake was nice and crispy on the outside, a little bit chewy on the inside and was served with a ginger sauce for dipping. The Brussels sprouts were prepared Kung Pao style with peanuts and a touch of chili pepper. The General Gau's chicken was fried well, coated in a delightfully sweet and spicy sauce and topped with crispy fried rice noodles. We are just about every morsel on the plates. We knew had to save a little room for dessert here when we saw that they serve a giant chocolate dipped fortune cookie that they smash apart with a mallet right at the table. Served alongside some ice cream, the giant fortune cookie is a super sweet and fun way to finish your time here. Additionally, it came as a pleasant surprise when our check came and it was not quite as high as we were anticipating, especially when you consider that the restaurant is housed inside of a casino. All in all, 9 Dragons left us with a great first impression. A great addition to the Seacoast.

The person who brought us our food was the funniest guy and I really appreciated his energy. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I probably won't be back because I am not a casino person but it was nice to try!
