Outlets look fine - left trash everywhere that I had to pick up outside (we have little kids and didn't need them stepping on screws and trash.) Left trash inside the house - in our driveway - lazy to not clean up after yourself. On his rush out, he ran his big van off our driveway retaining wall and broke a huge section of the wall. He said he would refer and send another contractor out to finish our walls - putting sheetrock back together and texturing walls so they were "paint ready." That contractor showed up to do a half-ass job - said he would return to finish - never returned. 3-4 cancelations over 3-4 weeks - not responding to texts - finally sent "another" guy to finish his work. That guy showed up - walked the house - said he was going to Home Depot to get materials and guess what... never came back. Now neither are responding leaving us with NON paint ready shitty walls. Our house was left a freaking disaster. And we are also now out the cost to repair our retaining wall. I would not hire - too hard to find good contractors.

Their communication was friendly and thorough. They also contacted me when interruptions in their schedule occurred, and we problem-solved together. Since the electricity was off when they did their earlier repairs, there was no way to detect that the surge had fried that breaker. Their goal was to get my power back on. I appreciate that focus on the result and not just the tasks. The billing was transparent. Not inexpensive, but clear and fair for emergency service. I got what I paid for and I'm happy.

Further a friend had their wall panel upgraded and their Tesla Wall Connector installed by Grayzier and recommended them highly. After looking at the reviews for the different certified installers, and given that a permit is required in my town to install an EV charger, I went with Grayzer. They provided a date and service window ( a week in advance of my appointment ) and the electrician, Max, pinged me about an hour prior to his arrival. I showed Max my ideal location for the Tesla Wall Connector and he was able to accommodate without having to cut away any drywall or running conduit outside the wall ( YMMV ). Very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He took the information/pictures required by Tesla and by my town's permitting authority, commissioned the Wall Connector, showed my how to add it to the Tesla Application on my iPhone and verified that it was charging at the specified rate (48 amps). He was happy to answer any questions I might have, and I am just delighted by the service and work done. I would recommend highly to friends, neighbors, et al. I called a repairman who said the dryer was only getting 120V and that I need to ask an electrician. I called Luis and he was very prompt and came out in a few hours even though it was Saturday. I have concrete floors with epoxy coating that scratch easy. I asked Luis if he could move the dryer on Ram Board I provided to prevent scratching, and he said he doesn't do that. All he had to do is slide it on the cardboard I have. Instead he slid the dryer on the floor and scratched it. He tested the outlet and showed me it's giving 240W, charged me a service fee, and said to contact the repairman again. Frustrated, I called another repairman who did a simple jiggle on the plug and saw it was causing voltage fluctuation because the receptacle was loose. He changed the receptacle and all was well. This is what I expected Luis to do - basic troubleshooting - instead of quickly saying not his problem. Instead all I got was a $100 service fee and scratched floors from him.

We hired Austin's Texas Electrical Services of Austin (TECL #29127). One part of this was…read moreinstalling an outdoor outlet, which requires running a conduit. For this they used a flex conduit and to hold the flex conduit outdoor-rated fasteners need to be used. This was clearly not the case, as there is corrosion and rust clearly visible on the fasteners that were used to hold the conduit (see pictures). I'm sure of this because we also had conduit installed by another electrical contractor for another purpose on a similar exterior wall on the other side of the house that has zero corrosion on it. I reached out to them several times over the span of 4 weeks regarding this, and didn't hear back once. I also specifically remember that the person sent out to do the work was very rude and difficult to work with. This was particularly relevant for hanging a chandelier, since it ended up crooked and he didn't ask for feedback until after he had already taken down his scaffolding, and wasn't willing to put it back up. So to this day we still have a misaligned chandelier. Cost isn't all that matters. For what this level of quality you're better off either learning to DIY, or paying more to hire a better company if you want everything done right and good customer service.

When they were in the attic running the wire down the wall to the circuit box, for some reason they had a issue getting the wire down the wall. Whatever tool they used cracked the drywall directly on the other side of the wire. It was a pain having the drywall fixed. I had to remove my TV for the dry wall guy, take time off of work, and have the whole wall painted so it would blend in and not look like a patch job. The owner said he would reimburse me for the bill for the repair. I sent him a copy of what I paid the drywall guy but he has not gotten back to me. It is very hard to contact this company, if you call you will find you always get voicemail. I should of known better. Very dishonest company, I would stay far away from these guys even for a simple job like mine. Update 1: The owner texted me to let me know he intends to reimburse me but he has just been to busy. It's been over a week and I have not gotten any refund, so I feel there is dishonesty in this. Update 2: The owner never reimbursed me. As I suspected, he was lying. I lost quite a bit of money for a relatively simple job. If only I chose another company.
