I'm gonna be honest, I frequented the other local coffee shop in Babylon for years, but at this point I'm a Jack Jack's fan. The consistently have oat milk (and don't burn the oat milk!!!), everyone is incredibly friendly and down to earth, the lighting is natural and not overwhelming, and the energy overall is just so warm and more like a community than a business. There's always regulars in there that have become friendly faces when I do go in. Definitely stop in! read more

Great, cute little place to stop in while walking around town! Went in on a Sunday afternoon, staff greeted me nicely. I only ordered a latte (very good) to go but the ambiance was very cozy. I loved the decor especially the little window in front of the back room and the wood treatment on the counter! Will definitely go back! read more

I mean it was overpriced. Coffee cup was the size for kids like damn really I'm pretty sure a 12oz cup isnt that small. The food was microwaved warm, not toasted. Eggs wasn't even cooked well just raw and I didn't ask for poached. read more

Went in for the first time yesterday. I was looking forward to it as I love to support small businesses. After being ignored for a good minute, the counter person finally asked what she could get started for me. All this time, there were 3 other employees there doing their own thing but not helping customers. I ordered an iced cappuccino and asked for very little milk as I like it very dark. I see her making a drink and asked if it was mine. She had filled it up 2/3 with milk before pouring the espresso in. She brings it over to me and told me perhaps I should order an americano next time as cappuccinos are fixed measurements. I expressed to he that's why I asked for just a drop of milk and very dark. During my wait, a gentleman also came over to ask if I was being helped and I told him exactly what I wanted. I presume he was the owner. I took a sip as I was paying and didn't like it at all since it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't have time to wait for it to be made again as I was already waiting over 8 minutes at this point. I got my change, left the coffee with her on the counter and walked out. The owner/manager didn't even say a word even though he was standing right there. Nobody was overly rude to me but the service was terrible. Very sad that a local village establishment would be this way. read more

I wanted to like this place but I just... don't. Everything is really pricey, poorly made, and almost too exotic to where it isn't enjoyable at all. I've tried their chai tea a handful of times expecting my view on it to change but it just didn't. I've also tried giving their sandwiches a chance a few times but the bread is always hard and stale-tasting, and the ingredients just don't mesh well together. I'll give them 2 stars for the staff being pleasurable though, and the interior is really cute and cozy. This place has potential to be Babylon Village's best coffee shop but they really need to revamp their menu! read more

What a sweet addition to Babylon Village! The workers here are so sweet and friendly.. It's very artsy and comfortable inside as a coffee shop should be. Good cappuccino! Will never go back to regular coffee. Had the black and white cookie also. Can't wait to try more of their sweets! Cute little coffee house... Saw someone Hangin in the window seat doin laptop stuff with the their coffee... Total vibe... And then there was this young girl playing violin. I lllllllove the violin! But this killed the entire mood! I hope the owners read this... I'm glad the girl is playing somewhere.. But she was playing theme song from Pocahontas... Seriously terrible and Made me want to leave. Will give it another ch ace in hopes that they will play something other than terrible violin... I would settle for a food iPod stream... Great place otherwise.. Will go again despite the violin. Hopefully i will be able to up the star amount next time I go... Only if there is no violin... I am Babylon Poet, R.B.Rose. Each month many of us meet at the Jacks coffee house to read poetry and enjoy the delicious food. I usually have my turkey and avocado on homemade white bread. It is delicious! I have it with a cup of Mocha Latte. The Barista brews it to perfection. I also enjoy a piece of homemade carrot or pound cake. When food is homemade you can taste the difference, this is what I like about Jacks. Also, I enjoy gazing at the local art work on the walls. What more could you ask for: good food, poetry, art, and the company of great friends. read more
