This is my go to framing space for the customer service and disposition Patrick lends to his professionalism. I recently completed a diamond painting which needed to be re-matted and I wanted museum glass to protect it. A few glass places I called had no idea what museum glass was (acrylic or glass that protects art from UV damage and doesn't have glare). I stumbled upon Sunflower Fine Art on FB and met Patrick, who was incredibly helpful and knew exactly what I wanted. He re-matted the picture and put in new acrylic for my picture. He knew it was a birthday present, and he did it quickly for me to have it in time. I was extremely happy with his work, and the price was more than reasonable. I stopped in the gallery years ago to have a few diplomas framed. They did a spectacular job. When I built out my office a few years ago I went back to Sunflower to have my art framed. The owner Patrick is amazing. He could not have been more gracious. We spent what must have been hours going over the different paintings and photographs, picking each frame and insert individually. I've tried countless galleries over the years and none of them even came close to the quality of the art work I received at Sunflower. We are completely disillusioned with this company. We spent $900 on a frame for our ketubah (Jewish marriage license). We were offered a warranty that if anything happened, it would be covered. We gave them 8 weeks to make the frame as we were moving out of state and wanted it to be prepared, so that we could have it professionally boxed and transported. Because it took longer than promised to frame the piece, when the frame was finally done, they boxed it themselves and drove it to NYC, where we lived, prior to moving. The boxing was done inadequately, and as a result, our $900 frame was damaged. They refused to take responsibility or even look at it to see if it could be repaired. So we basically just wasted $900. Their promise of a warranty is bogus. Beware of them. read more

Patrick and his people at Sunflower Fine Art are terrific. This is the second time Patrick has framed something for me, and both times he flawlessly framed stone-cut (like woodcut or lithograph) original signed and numbered prints on delicate paper. Others might have wrinkled the paper or used thin mattes that buckle with time; he took perfect care with these delicate jobs. The first print he framed looks like it was done yesterday, even though it was hung (perfectly by him, I might add) a few years ago. No fading or buckling with time. His guy Mike just brought over and hung the second one quickly and expertly in my apartment yesterday, and I am very happy with it. Patrick has a good eye: his suggestions for frames and mattes were spot on, meticulously finished, and made the pieces visually "pop" nicely. If you can afford it, get the museum quality glass; if hung out of direct glare it is as if there is no glass between you and your art. If you care about art and want it framed professionally, go to Sunflower. read more
