This is the poster that Sunflower Art Gallery framed for me. Just picked it up today. We will hang it up tomorrow!!

I love this art gallery and the service. I've used them twice and plan to continue to use them. I had some work done in my house and the workers broke my favorite piece of art. The frame was damaged beyond repair. I contacted Sunflower Fine Art Galleries and spoke with Patrick. He was very nice. He was able to reframe my artwork and it looks better now then when I originally purchased it from an art show years ago. I'm grateful and would recommend this art gallery to everyone!! I also took a poster to be framed and it looks amazing. Great service!! Love this place!!

Filled to the brim with art. Not my style but great stuff

Patrick runs a top notch framing gallery and has an amazing assortment of frames and style that are top quality. This is my go to framing space for the customer service and disposition Patrick lends to his professionalism. I had no idea how to frame a complicated a piece and he guided me to exactly the perfect frame to make the pieces oh so eloquent. I'm very happy with the work and though the price is steep it is not higher than other framers. Frames are imported and local artisans and of an amazing quality and that is what you pay for. Literally hundreds of mats and frames and presentations to choose from it is daunting but Patrick synthesizes the piece into a perfect phrase matching the frame to the art creating an aura of perfection. Love this place. Can you tell?

Museum acrylic and matting done by Sunflower Fine Art Gallery
    Christina M.

I recently completed a diamond painting which needed to be re-matted and I wanted museum glass to protect it. A few glass places I called had no idea what museum glass was (acrylic or glass that protects art from UV damage and doesn't have glare). I stumbled upon Sunflower Fine Art on FB and met Patrick, who was incredibly helpful and knew exactly what I wanted. He re-matted the picture and put in new acrylic for my picture. He knew it was a birthday present, and he did it quickly for me to have it in time. I was extremely happy with his work, and the price was more than reasonable. My only regret is that I purchased an expensive frame (that was made cheaply) before finding Sunflower. My next frame, mat, and glass will be done by them.

Jane project saved from eternal peril! Thanks Patrick

I was lucky enough to obtain a super rare Jane Project piece by Jacob Bannon; unlucky enough to inherit damage from the prior, careless owner. I felt a noose slowly wrapping around my enormous turkey neck.... Somehow, before choking myself into oblivion, I discovered Sunflower Gallery. The owner's voice echoed across the phone frequenices like God's gift, "I can repair it." "Repair" isn't the word for what this art savior did. He worked on this piece for two months; nothing was overlooked. Every single scratch was removed and varnished. I'm so impressed, I think I might grab the rope and hang myself anyway. The joy is just too much....

Need something framed? Then pop in to the Sunflower Gallery on Seventh Street in Garden City. The service is top shelf and when it comes to framing a print, poster, picture or painting the head man, Patrick, knows his stuff inside and out! I took a 73 year old photo of my wife's mom & grandfather launching the USS Macaw in 1942. She is even holding a bottle of champagne. A very special picture that needed TLC and extra special handling. No worries, Patrick took care of everything from helping select the frame to recommending what kind of glass to use. The finished product was perfect. What more can be said? 'Sunflower's the name, framing's the game.' And they do it very well!

Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place.

I went to this shop, and paid the owner in full for the completion of my picture. He told me it would be ready in ten days. After two weeks I went back to what I thought was to pick up my picture. The owner said that the picture was not ready yet. He went on and on saying that the price he quoted me was half the price it should be. I returned back the third week and he tried to tell me that I didn't pay for the boarders for the picture. I had a picture copy on my phone of exactly what I ordered and paid for. One month later I went to his shop again to pick up my picture. He said " I'm not giving it to you." He insinuated, I called him a racist, I never said that, He followed up by saying that if the black community on 125th Street heard you say that I am a racist ,they would spit in your face.
