I went to Gallery 25 on 2/1/25 to have some vintage baseball cards framed. I met Chris, who is a very friendly guy and will talk your ears off. Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place. read more

I will never go anywhere else for picture framing. Chris is phenomenal. Not only is he personable, he is very passionate and knowledgable about what he does. I found for the quality of work and materials the price to be very reasonable. Chris framed an anniversary gift of mine and did an outstanding job. The frame and picture look like they're meant to be together. I also really liked the gallery. I'm going to be going back to look at some of pictures he has framed for sale. He also has a bunch of sports memorabilia that would make a great gift. Overall 10/10 experience. There's really no reason to go anywhere else on Long Island to get anything framed. read more

This is a wonderful business to have your artwork, posters, diplomas etc framed. Huge selection and after inquiring to pricing in other frame stores, found this store had the best prices. Christopher did a beautiful and totally professional job framing a large painting for me---and was so reasonable and done in timely fashion as needed done by a dateline. I highly recommend--five stars. D. Shaw Great Neck, NY read more

Second time I'm getting something framed. Great prices, wonderful work. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. This place is a gem

I bought a piece of art and my wife was not happy. She refused to have the gallery frame it and said that she'd do it if it was going to hang in her house. We went to Gallery25, and she immediately began to come around. This was months ago, and I forgot to finish the post, so now I have forgotten the name of the proprietor, but he was so welcoming and immediately engaging. He showed a lot of his more popular frames, but when he got a feel for what my wife was looking for, showed some other items and found one that she fell in love with. After she left, he showed me a ton of other prints he had and a lot of sports memorabilia when I went on about my boys being the stellar athletes that I like to pretend that they are. Overall, great experience! Extremely friendly and available and quick and beautiful work in the end, now hanging in our home to even my wife's delight as she points out to everyone that she was able to salvage the wall by framing my atrocious art with a gorgeous frame. read more

Chris is so knowledgeable and helpful. Always a pleasure getting my art work from him.

I live in San Diego, CA and wanted to get an article framed for my brother who lives on Long Island. I got quotes from all different frame shops, both locally in San Diego and all over Nassau County. Chris was very quick to reply and had the most reasonable quote out of all the places I emailed. From the very start Chris was very communicative and responsive as I explained to him the project and the timeline (this was a Christmas gift). I only had the digital copy of the article I wanted to frame and Chris was able to use his local printer to have the pages printed up for framing. This project was unique in that it was all done over email and it couldn't have gone smoother. Chris sent me a picture of the finished project a couple weeks before Christmas and it looked great. I called his shop and gave him my CC info over the phone for payment. My Dad picked up the finished project and wrapped it up for my brother to open on Christmas. My brother was blown away and very impressed with the quality, as was everyone else who got to see it. Overall it was a great experience start to finish and I will definitely recommend Chris for any framing projects in the Long Island area. read more

I have brought multiple high-end pieces of sports memorabelia to Chris and I have always been happy with his keen eye for detail. It's not always the frame that make the picture but the embellishment to the frame that give the piece that little extra glow. I have always felt comfortable leaving my pieces with the store knowing that they are not sending them out but keeping and working with them in-house. I highly recommend Gallery 25 for your Framing and mounting requirements. read more

Poor quality frames falling apart in seams within 9 months of getting them. Do not waste your money here, go to Michaels instead!

Chris is incredible and so helpful in choosing the right frames for everything we have brought to Gallery 25. Each piece comes out looking awesome and show stopping. We have been using Chris for numerous years and wether it's artwork or the kids memorabilia the same attention to detail and expertise is given. In my search for a frame for a portrait, I found Gallery 25. Throughout the whole process, Chris was extremely patient and helpful. He explained what type of frame would work best for the size and style of the portrait. Chris was very accommodating and came to my organization's location to assist in choosing an appropriate frame. He was easy to work with and returned the framed portrait in a short period of time. I'm very glad I found Gallery 25 and highly recommend this business to anyone who has any framing needs. read more

Gallery 25 enhanced my Claude Weisbuch horse lithograph to perfection. Chris has a wealth of experience going back decades and has a discerning eye for fine art. I would not trust my art work to the large chain retailers who employ inexperienced, seasonal here- today -gone tomorrow work force. You never see same person twice once you drop off your art work at Michaels (my experience). At Gallery 25 you deal with Chris the owner from start to finish. Moreover, don't trust their(Michaels)promotional gimmicks and (supposed) discounts enticing you into their stores.. Michaels has high mark up before the discount so the savings is just an illusion . Chris was very helpful. His prices are fair and he he delivers on quality for custom framing.

Chris was wonderful to work with and I was so happy that I was able to work with a small business which is so important to our local economy especially during this time. I needed prints framed, as well as engraved for our organization to give as gifts. Chris took the time to ensure I had the right frame and was SO affordable. While I was there he was also able to help me with framing a personal antique linen cloth from 1905 - he sent it to be cleaned and pressed before framing making sure no damage was done to the delicate piece. Gallery 25 is now the only framer I will go to - stop by and give him a try! read more

I have been pricing out different places to get my wedding photos framed. My husband and I went to Michaels and ACMoore and they were soooooooooo expensive and had a turn around time of 2 weeks. So I kept shopping around and discovered this wonderful store. He is a mom-and-pop store who has been around for over 20 years. The owner was extremely nice and professional to us. His prices are about 1/3 of what Michaels charges and he does the work in house. He took his time with us and gave us different ideas on what frames to use, what mats would look better and never went above our price range. I highly recommend this store. They beat all the other generic branch stores by price and by quality. I just framed my parent's picture from our wedding with him. Beautiful wood frame, matting, 12x12 frame, hand made, turn around time of 48 hours all for $45. He has gained my business for life. read more
