Mantra Framing and Aiden have been an essential resource for me as a working artist who exhibits both in and out of state. I need a framer I can trust completely, and Aiden and his team deliver every single time. He has handled all of my framing for multiple art exhibitions across the country, managed plaque orders from out of state, and even expertly repaired the cradle of a 4×4 foot wood panel I built, a delicate job that required real craftsmanship and confidence, also with framer and abstract painter Katy. Nothing is too complex for this team. What truly sets Mantra Framing apart is the full creative ecosystem Aiden has built around him. His team includes skilled professional painters and photographers who are genuinely fluent in their artistic media. Together, they bring an exceptional eye for color. Their recommendations always complement and elevate the artwork rather than competing with it. Beyond the quality of the work itself, the experience of working with them is second to none. They are consistently helpful, supportive, and communicative, with honest and realistic lead times you can actually plan around. The depth of expertise here is unmatched. Mantra Framing has been in business for 27 years, and Aiden himself has over 32 years of experience in custom framing. That level of mastery is immediately evident in every piece they touch. The quality, the care, the artistry, and the customer service are all best-in-class. I look forward to many more years of collaboration with Aiden and the entire Mantra Framing team. read more

I reframed several works of art. They came out beautifully. Each and every person at Mantra took their time and worked hard to find the correct frame. Recently, I purchased a large original work of art. I received so much help selecting a perfect floating frame. Their level of patience and care is outstanding. Their prices are very fair. You will not be disappointed if you use Mantra. read more

I had absolutely no idea what I wanted done with these two prints. The staff at Mantra somehow could read my mind because everything they suggested I went with and I couldn't be happier with how they came out from frame to the borders to the Museum glass which you can't see from the photo but gives a beautiful upscale look. Looking forward to our next framing adventure! read more

We highly recommend Mantra Framing Inc in Williston Park. They did a beautiful job framing our Ketubah and then our favorite wedding photo. Everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. Jennifer gave us many options of frames and mats and guided us through the selection process with patience and creativity. They're an excellent local business! In addition, my wife and I wanted to mount decorative bowls on the wall and couldn't figure it out at a hardware store (based on the bowls' shape). Mantra went above and beyond to help us come up with a solution and were so generous of their time and knowledge. read more

By far the best framing business on Long Island. Attention to detail is excellent. Customer service is fantastic. The owner and staff are open to whatever you want but will also provide suggestions and alternatives if you need any. I've framed over 250 pieces over 16 years with Aiden and his team, and have never been disappointed. Pricing and alternatives for budget conscious customers is always provided. I highly recommend Mantra Framing. read more

I could not be happier with the framing done by Mantra Framing. I have zero artistic ability and let their employee know that I needed her help picking the frames and the mats. She gave me various options but also gave me her suggestions as to what would look best. Exactly the help I wanted and needed. Her recommendations were able to turn $10 worth of European postcards (yes, that 8"x11 item was sold as a postcard) into works of art. This was my first experience with Mantra Framing although I have had framing done at other places. There is clearly a different. Very highly recommended. read more

Admitting that this may be premature as I don't have my picture back but... Needed a new framing place as my guy is no longer in business. Didn't know I needed an appointment. Guy came outside and told me that it would be at least Tuesday until I could get it. Told him that wouldn't work and he asked me if it was something easy. Said a simple black frame and he said come in and let's use the side table far away from the other customer. Took ~5 minutes. Prices were very fair. Aidan, so long as the quality is there (which I don't doubt), you may have a new customer for life. Such a pleasure to deal with and appreciate you squeezing me in. read more

Even having been a loyal customer, I was very disappointed when I couldn't get the help I needed recently. I will not be returning.

I have been using Aiden McGrath of Mantra Framing in Williston Park, Long Island as my sole framer for some time now. My wife and I have been serious collectors of art and antiques for over fifty years, and we have had experience with many framers during that time. None have held a candle to Aiden. He has framed over 30 items for us, including Medal and Professional awards, photos, prints of all types, and paintings. Everything he does is performed to the highest conservation standards, and his framing technique is superior. His moulding and matting selection is very large, his mountings are highly creative and beautiful, and he can undertake practically any digital reproduction project imaginable. He is extremely friendly, as is his entire staff. Jennifer, in particular, is a wizard at formatting and cleaning up digital scans and prints, and can troubleshoot any project as necessary. In addition, Elaine keeps everything moving smoothly in getting the final product to the customer. Those back of the shop workers who we have met, keep getting the jobs out on the promised schedule, and are very polite to customers. In short, you won't find a better framer than Mantra, period. I don't even live in the neighborhood--my parents do--but I've come here for several framing projects over the years because I've been so satisfied with their work every time. You can tell they like what they do; they're patient and helpful and nice, even when you take way too long to decide between different color mats. I've had graphic maps, vintage maps, bizarrely-shaped prints, even a page from a book framed--and in that last case, they roughed up the torn-out edge to look uniform and just generally fantastic. I've also really appreciated that they're happy to just sell you mats and glass (I recently made a frame out of reclaimed barn wood from a house my friends just bought) for basically free. All in all, it's a real pleasure to work with the guys at Framing Mantis, and I always tell people about their shop, even if they have no idea where Williston Park is. read more

Aiden and Jen were absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, they took so much time, care, and effort to ensure that my poster was framed to perfection. They are the best! My family and I undoubtedly will bring all of our framing projects to them. read more

The guys of Framing Mantis are simply the best of the best at what they do; what's more, their shop in Williston Park is an extremely cool spot to visit if you're just browsing for artwork for your home or office. In my case, it was in fact an office with bare white walls screaming for embellishment. It happened that over the years I'd amassed a (seriously large) collection of black-and-white photographs of some of my favorite writers, musicians and so forth. I took my inspiration from Sardi's and decided to create a sort of personalized wall of fame. I went to Framing Mantis with my idea and with photos of various sizes. (P.S., For some idea of what I'm talking about, head over to the Framing Mantis website and look under testimonials for some shots from my office.) For the next several years, I turned to Framing Mantis to create a series of framed matching 8 x 10 photographs as well as several collages of smaller photos that seemed to fit together. At every juncture and with each job, Aidan and James did super-professional work, creating finished pieces that I admire every day and, frankly, am proud to show off. These guys provide a level of customer service that's rare to find these days. Their skill and professional knowledge is unbeatable, and their care for each customer is abundantly evident. Their price for custom framing is surprisingly far more reasonable than large retail chains (i.e., Michael's), and I would imagine more reasonable even than other specialty shops of this kind. What I can tell you for sure is that these guys have true integrity; you're not going to be ripped off here or quoted a price that's less than fair. Bottom line: if you live anywhere on Long Island or in NYC, it's definitely worth the drive to Williston Park if you're looking to have an artwork framed or a display made for your collectibles. You're not going to find better craftsmanship or better guys to work with anywhere else. read more

I've NEVER EVER been disappointed in the many years and many, many projects both large and small they've helped me with. It's always a good experience, from the minute you step into their great little shop on Hillside Ave to the moment (often after not too long-) you pick up your project. Choosing the right frame is fun, and they're always extremely professional and top notch, and make great suggestions about frames, projects, etc. They're the best! My walls are better for their talents! Rock on! read more

Aiden is amazing!! Best as his craft. Way above any customer service attention you could ask for. There is no other place to go.

Awesome business. I take all my photographs to be framed here. They are so detail oriented and fair!

This is as much a thank you to Aiden as it is a great compliment to his skill as a framer. I had been seeking a frame moulding to match an existing display of artwork, only to find that the moulding had been discontinued years ago! Aiden was so generous with his time and effort to find a supplier who still had enough of this moulding to complete this project. I highly recommend Mantra and Aiden's skill and willingness to more than satisfy a customer read more

I have been using this store for at least 20 years and in their previous incarnation as Framing Mantis. I am happy to note that Aiden is still there. Good work. Slow turnaround time but the work is solid. If you can improve turnaround time I'd come by more often.

This is the second time in a year I have had Aiden work his magic with framing a poster/print for me. Good price, fast service, couldn't ask for anything more .Highly recommended ! read more

Great service! Aiden did an excellent job helping me select a frame and I could not be more pleased with the workmanship that went into the final product. I have had numerous pieces of art and photographs framed by Aiden at Mantra Framing. From start to finish you will be happy. Aiden is extremely knowledgable about art, taking into consideration the intention of the artist as well as the aesthetics of your home. In the end you have the artwork highlighted in a way that brings out the integrity of the piece. Mantra has an endless amount of options for framing, and if Aiden doesn't have what you want he will try to find it for you. He is patient and kind and very creative! His prices are extremely fair and his work is outstanding and of high quality.
