I had a wonderful experience with Arlene at ABCO Art. I brought in an older St. John's University…read morediploma plaque that had become damaged around the edges, expecting that I would probably need to spend quite a bit to have it repaired or reframed. Arlene could not have been nicer or more helpful. She carefully looked at the diploma, explained my options, and rather than simply trying to sell me an expensive framing job, she actually called St. John's University to find out whether I could obtain a replacement diploma. She then suggested a much less expensive framing option that would solve the problem beautifully. I was particularly impressed by her honesty. She could easily have sold me the more expensive option, but instead took the time to find a solution that would save me a considerable amount of money. That kind of personal service is increasingly rare. Arlene was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping me find the best solution rather than the most expensive one. I would absolutely recommend ABCO Art and will go back to them for any framing needs I have in the future.

She is well educated in her profession and explained how she could help and restore the photos I brought in. They had been ruined by humidity under the glass in the frame and were flaking. Probably the most knowledgeable salespersons, best customer service, and honest information shared…read more I came here to get some fixtures for home, and Alan was more than helpful. They also have a huge storage area in the basement so you can reserve your fixtures months in advance before pickup. We made a 1/2 down payment so the price would remain the same or better when we went to pick it up. They will only charge you the current price if you don't make a down payment. So if it goes up, you're at a loss. They have a display area for the bulbs too, so you can see the level of brightness and whiteness/yellowness you're looking for. Their bulbs are all LED's now. They have a wide variety of fixtures and a wide variety of price ranges so it's easy for someone on a budget to find something suitable too. We got lucky and picked out four fixtures (two ceiling fans and two chandeliers) and bulbs prior to prices increasing the following month. When we went back to pick up the fixtures a few months later we saved several hundred dollars by having put 1/2 down. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! Happy shops!

Mr Freedman is one of the leading gemologists in America and I am very comfortable with their excellent quality, price, and integrity. After some time i wanted a unusual gift for my wife,. she likes slot machines. I discussed it with mr Fredman, we worked together viewing 3 dimensional full color renderings, then he dropped the bomb, he asked do you want it to work? I was dumfounded. For christmas he delivered a 1 inch tall working slot machine with diamonds set around the edge and with 3 wheels that spin on the pull of the handle. each wheel has 4 series of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, so if the colors line up you win. i have shown this to other people and they are amazed. i wonder what is up his sleeve for my next gift. I am sure it will also be one of a kind and spectacular.
