Tina is an absolute find! She is extremely knowledgeable and her store is very inviting and interesting. She is well educated in her profession and explained how she could help and restore the photos I brought in. They had been ruined by humidity under the glass in the frame and were flaking. She restored them to look like the originals. These photos were family wedding photos taken in the 1940s and all the details of the originals were present in the restoration. I had a wonderful experience at A Photographer's Place. I had a 1913 photo of my grandparents wedding portrait that was damaged and in fragile condition. Michael reassured me that he could restore the photograph and that it would only take a week to do. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the photo. A Photographer's Place was suggested to me (by another Williston Park business) because they had the materials needed for a big job I needed done (several large pieces of artwork photographed and shrunk down into varied sizes). I highly recommend this establishment for professional, as well as serious amateur photographers who are looking for high-quality scanning and output services--but don't want to travel into Manhattan to get them. I recently had 12 scans done of old commercial ad tear sheets that were on 35 MM slides. The scans I received back were a great improvement over my originals: they were sharper, cleaner, and had excellent color balance. I was very pleased, and will use them again. read more
