I was staying next door at a nice hotel for the area but after working a 14 hour shift I knew I had 20 minutes before they closed when I got there they were already closed. I moved to Wellton back in March and have been here at least a dozen times since it's the only fast food place in town. That is the only reason I keep coming here-I work long hours and travel a lot, so I don't always feel like cooking because I get home late most of the time. At least half of the times I've gone through the drive-thru (at all different times of the day, early morning, dinner time, later in the evening) their "systems are down" and they "aren't able to take orders". Sometimes it's cash only, sometimes they say all the systems are down and they can't process orders at all. I've seen them turn away a whole line of cars on multiple different days-Either they have the worst internet in town (because mine works fine?) or there are a lot of employees that just don't want to work and aren't being managed well. Secondly, I'd say my orders have been made incorrectly at least 40-50 percent of the time when I've ordered there-and this is not due to a complicated order-Im only ordering on-menu items, no substitutions or anything. Idk if it's poor comprehension from the service staff or a complete and utter uncaring attitude. If you are a local you already know this is a worst case scenario dining option if everything else in town is closed-if you aren't from Wellton and are passing through, do yourself a favor and hold off on eating until you get to Yuma. Even if you really want Jack in the Box, the ones in Yuma don't mess up every simple order and their "systems aren't down" 3 times a week. Forgot to mention how often they have limited menu items because they are "waiting for the truck to make a delivery" Visit here at your own risk. Consider yourself warned. read more

Stopped in for some chicken and tacos, and they did not disappoint. Probably some of the best fast food chicken i've ever had in my life. Also the tacos were the best ones i've ever had from jack in the box. I will always stop by here on my way to yuma read more

But I waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes, to then finally get to the order screen for the lady to tell me they aren't excepting drive thru orders ? Like what even is that. Wellton, AZ location. I have mixed star ratings. Food would be 5 but condition of yard and dining area I'm afraid would fail. Never fails people or no people tables are always soiled, trash cans mostly outside are so full you could not put a gum wrapper in them. Staff is always helpful. It appears they only think about the work in front of them is only things that need to be done. Appears they either don't think about other things that need to be done or management doesn't allow it. Someone needs to manage these location and over see, they do need help. When Larry over saw this location it was tip top shape. My thoughts, they are short handed. read more

3.5 stars Positives: I don't usually Yelp fast food but I ordered a new item so I thought I'd review it. I ordered the egg and chicken brunch sandwich with potatoes. I'm a little torn on this review since I did like my sandwich a lot! My iced caramel coffee is also very good! The downfall is the disgusting side of breakfast potatoes. Ugh! So soggy I did not eat them. If it was not for the side of gross I would have given a 4 star. So if you get this sandwich just get a different side and enjoy! Great iced coffee. Usually won't write poor reviews, believing everybody's entitled to a bad day now and then. Also you're not gonna hear me flower it up like I was perfectly innocent because I did get quite frustrated. So we winter here in Wellton and have yet to find that friendly service one reviewer mentioned. The reason I gave one star review today is due to very poor handling of a situation by three employees at this Jack in the Box. My husband and I came through on electric bikes, this is a very small town no one was in line but they insisted they could not take our order because we were not in a car. I had questions and probably would have shrugged my shoulders and complied, but because of their handling of my questions (basically not answering them but saying; you have to be in a car or you must order inside) eventually though they cited safety for the reason) By then we were all frustrated & the 3rd employee (Think it might've been the supervisor) was extremely rude & raising his voice told us you either come inside to order or you don't, that's it. So it escalated when with a little consideration, kindness and flexibility we could've avoided this very frustrating situation. Needless to say we didn't order today nor will we in the future. SIMPLE SOLUTION: take our order, but let us know your policy and thats it for our safety (for the next time). They would have kept a customer, we would've been happy, they all would've been happy, and avoided this bad review. read more

The Wellton, AZ Jack in the Box generally has good service and friendly staff. It makes me believe the management there actually cares about customer experience. The food is well prepared and I've never gotten a wrong order in the past 10 years. On one occasion, when they were understaffed and the drive-thru was slow, they made good by offering the meal 50% off. While I generally would not rate fast-food as 5 star, I'll make an exception for this Jack in the Box due to it's great service. read more
