I'm an out of towner from Chicago. It's my second time visiting this place. I've read all the reviews about all the druggies and homeless people that loiter around here. Yeah I've seen them but I take my food to go from here. I get the Monster Tacos. They are so delish. I love how they deep fry the taco shell. They are not that great looking but the taste is what counts and I'm not Gordon Ramsey so I don't care what they look like. It how they taste that counts. The fries are so good too. Jack in the Box now has Cheesy Macaroni Bites on their menu. I knew this location had them for sure so when I broke down to get myself some I came here. I've never been inside this JITB only the drive through and it's always the same, the person never understands me, sometimes I wonder if I have marbles in my mouth. Thankfully they have a screen to show you your order, I order one 3 piece Cheesy Macaroni Bites and a large diet coke. The screen came up with spicy chicken bits and a small coke, I said no one 3 piece Cheesy Macaroni Bites and a large diet coke, the screen changes to bacon cheddar potato wedges and a large diet coke, I said no one 3 piece Cheesy Macaroni Bites and a large diet coke and finally it was right. I was beginning to think maybe I shouldn't be eating at JITB. I drove up to the window and like normal waited and waited and waited forever for someone to come get my money and give me my food. Someone finally shows up and tells me a different amount than what was quoted on the screen, it was almost $5.00 more, I question this and she goes oh sorry about that. I wait and wait some more and finally I'm given a small diet coke, I question this and again opps sorry. I get my large diet coke and wait some more and finally my one 3 piece Cheesy Macaroni Bites is bagged and handed to me I look inside and yep its three cheesy macaroni bites and so I leave. For $1.49 for the three of them they were tasty and than I went home and read the nutritional value of them let me share a little with you, which I've calculated down to per piece: calories - 73 calories from fat - 37 total fat - 4 cholesterol - 5 sodium - 203 total carbohydrates - 7 proteins - 2 Bad but not nearly as bad as I thought so I guess it really wasn't a sign for me not to have them. This is a hard review. So as far as JITB food goes, this one does a pretty good job. I always seem to have the right order, warm food, and a friendly worker. This may be the perfect place to take your kids to demonstrated why they shouldn't do drugs. Unless you're brave, don't even think about eating inside on a weekend. I did so recently with a friend and watched at least one drug deal occur. Also, there was a man that looked like he had attempted to cut off his own nose (it was still bleeding) and he proceeded to nearly fall out of his chair in a drug induced stupor several times. I went to this Jack in the Box because it was the only place to eat around and I was on foot. I walked in with the minimal expectations, of fast food, one and it's Jack in the box so how much can you expect?? Boy was I impressed. I walked in and was greeted quickly and told they would be with me in just a minute. seconds later I was greeted yet again and my order taken. I ordered two sausage and egg sandwiches with cheese and a coffee to be eaten in the Dining Room. When my number was called i picked up the most beautiful breakfast sandwiches ever. They looked just like the picture. And instead of being all mushed up in a wrapper and a box, they were served "Half wrapped" in a basket. They were very attractive. They were Hot, fresh off the grill and very tasty. Just like they are supposed to be, but never seem to be. The coffee was pretty good too. The dining room was clean, I did not hit the restroom, so I don't know about that part. This was the best Jack in the Box experience and food I have EVER had! Thank you!!! read more

This is one of my favorite fast food places. This location did take a bit long to get my food out to me, but boy was it worth it. My boyfriend never had Jack before, and he was happy he did. We ordered the Cheese burgers with curly fries, there special sauce and tacos. Everything was soooo good, the burgers are huge, the fries are delish and so are those tacos. My co-worker often drags me here for lunch. Usually I don't want to go at all, but I sometimes do. They have typical fast food. Burgers, fries, combo plates, shakes, etc. Of course none of it's healthy. This place is usually very crowded inside. Bums, drug dealers, & panhandlers are always here hanging out. No, not sometimes ALWAYS. They won't hesitate to ask you for change either. Typical Sodo setting for you. Is it kept clean inside? No. Does there kiosk for fast ordering make your wait any quicker? No. Is the service fast? No. Is the food good though? Yes, but that's about it. I'd pass this place up everytime if I were driving, but I'm usually not & my co-worker is. read more

The jack in the box on se 108th and 212th is THE WORST jack in the box in the kent area!! The service is bad!! The management is worse!! For instance I order at the drove three last night and the guy was all over the place looked like he was the only one there. So their service totally sucks. I didn't know you could have junkies and people who are so strung out on something in the restaurant. I went there today, just a few minutes ago and the guy behind the register wanted to argue with the customer in front of me who I happened to know. Giovanny wanted to argue to my friend that She had to have the receipt in order to fix the order that she got. And then on top of that I wanted to get some water from the little soda machine thing and there was a lady not enough right at the machine blocking my way. Also their customer service skills aren't that great they're all disrespectful. The fact of me being the customer and the girl that was in front of me, they want to argue with a customer and still continue to argue after the fact that they are the ones who messed up on that order. I go here to eat my breakfast. Its really close to my work. Very convenient. I order hardy bowl most of the times. The part that I really dislike, is that there is alot of of scums, bums, ugly people. They talk loud and they dirty. Its not a good place to eat and enjoy your food. I see employees sweeping and wiping surfaces but the clientele that frequents this joint just makes it feel filthy. There is a methadone clinic right down the street, so when the patients flunk out, they move in here. The place is always crawling with undesirables....inside and out. My work truck is too big for the drive thru, so I always go inside to order, but take my order with me to the park or ANYWHERE else! Great late night food after the club! We wanted to make 2 different orders, but according to the lady, it was 1 order per car. I've never heard of such thing, but good thing we all had cash. The food is what you can expect from a typical fast food joint however I have an issue with their menu. A value meal that was priced on their menu for $6.99 was actually $7.29. I know this is not an issue to complain about and I feel like an idiot for even mentioning a 30cent difference however if their prices increase, they need to update their menu to reflect the price. I would never complain to anyone who works there but this has been a problem for at least 6 months that I know of. If you're reading this, state law does state customers do not have to pay the higher price if the price printed on the menu indicates otherwise. read more

Jack in the Box was our first stop after we arrived in Seattle. We had to get the two for ninety-nine cent tacos. The only time we can get them is when we travel out west. The food was fine, but the service SUCKED. On Tuesday, July 10, 2012 I was eating at the Jack in the Box in the SODO district with my two young children. In th emiddle of the meal, I went to get another straw and I slipped on and landed on my right knee heavily, nearly taking my six year old son with me, as I grabbed onto his high bar stool-like chair, and although I did not know it immediately, whacking my back out. Initally the manager pretended she did not see the accident, although she was no more than four or five feet away attending to a sign. I called her over and she was completely rude. By the time we were done with lunch, I knew I was injured. I tried to write an incident report, but was told that they did not have a form. I then wrote out what happened, and called the franchise owner to let him know I was hurt. I didn't think it was bad, but I was hurt. He did not return any of my calls. I called JITHB corporate offices, the next day and left messages. No one could help me. After a month of so, I was dischared from medical care with a bill of $809.00. It' not a lot, but I as a single mom of two, I cannot afford it, and it's too small an amount for an injury lawyer to take my case. I submitted the paper work to the San Diego office as I was directed, but after repeated phone calls to that office, Jack in the Box corporate offices has since told me there is nothing they can do, and that the franchise owner says we have talked. We have not. He did not return any of my phone calls after I left a message saying I was injured. He is ignoring my letter and request. Today I left him a message indicating that since he is ignoring my letter I will submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau to see if they can help me. The food was fine, but there are plenty of other fast food restaurants, Why give our money to such a slime ball? read more

I spent 20 minutes waiting in line to order. The incompetent cashier "messed up" the register so he made us wait until the registers restarted. He apologized to the girl in front of me for making her wait so long and made her order for free under the table. I was assuming he would do the same for myself and the other guy in the restaurant given that we arrived at the same time, but after making us wait another 10 minutes he turned us away saying he couldn't take any orders. The entire time I was standing there, there was a revolving door of junkies coming in and out of the bathroom (marked "for paying employees only") which this cashier let in. In my many years of eating at different jack in the box's all over the states, I have never been disappointed up until now. the food was as usual very good. fresh and made correctly ( I ordered 2 jumbo jacks with no pickles and extra ketchup) but the downside came when I realized how bad the customer service was, manager was no where in sight and the employees had a really foul mouth even when there was kids around. the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days and the garbages overflowed.
