What I got was a chicken torta with rice and beans. I was annoyed, but I wasn't gonna put a hit out on them for this. Mistakes happen. The taste. When I began to dig into my torta, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. It tasted cheap and unseasoned; like they just bought a rotisserie chicken from Walmart and shredded it up. The bread on the other hand had a very nice texture. It made the experience a little more enjoyable. The beans and rice tasted generic. It felt like the beans were just straight out of a can from the same Walmart, and the rice had no flavor. The portions. The old reviews are still relevant when it comes to their portions. I found that the torta could've had more meat on it. I was already slightly upset that they gave me chicken instead of steak, but the lack of protein is what pushed me into writing this review. Overall, the experience yielded empty promises with a smile. Despite the banner they hang proudly, anyone who has eaten Mexican food outside of Washington state would understand that this is not "Authentic" Mexican food.

It was so thin that it was nearly impossible to dip. Everything just dripped everywhere. There was a bit of a kick if you can spoon over some salsa on the chip. Very little kick. Even less flavor I would say. The tostada salad was a good size. It's a salad. Pretty hard to mess it up, honestly. My favorite part was the tostada bowl though.
