Nayarit is still one of our favorites. The people (especially the female owner) are great. My current favorite items are the spinach enchiladas and the seafood tower. I just don't recommend getting the tower as takeout or delivery... it can be a bit messy. Definitely a better dine-in dish. We came in on a Friday evening, around 6:30 pm. It wasn't too busy and we got sat quickly at a booth. We received free chips and salsa which was delicious! I got a pina colada for a great price ($7.50). It was also super tasty and presented beautifully. For our mains I got the quesabirria tacos. As well as chicken enchiladas. The quesabirria was amazing! The consommé was perfect. I loved everything about it and will return just for these. The enchiladas were super flavorful, but somewhat small. Still delicious. Has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Pullman. There are some other good ones, but this has moved to the top based on consistent excellent food. Additionally, we recently had a party and had Nayarit put together a taco bar for 15 people (take-out). They don't list this option on their web site, but if you call they'll put together whatever you want. They helped me figure out what we wanted (street taco style, chicken and pork, 3 per person, plus beans and rice and chips and salsa). Final result was way more food than I expected, much lower cost than I expected, and excellent food (which was expected, because I've eaten here several times before). Everything was ready and hot right on time, and they helped me load it all into the car. Amazing deal, awesome food, and very friendly and helpful staff/owners. After a long day, my daughter wanted something familiar. The menu looked amazing so we decided to hit up Nayarit. Did the enchiladas rojas and a California burrito. Both dishes were scrumptious and we cleaned our plates. Bonus points for multiple hot sauce options at the table. Loved the family run vibes. Service was fabulous. Decor was very relaxing and added to the atmosphere while being slightly different from what I have seen before. Guessing it is regional, but I could be wrong. Decides to have dessert because we were starving and the fried ice cream was bomb. Go with the strawberry sauce over chocolate. The churros were even better. Late review because of life being busy but... While visiting Pullman for orientation for a family member we decided to stop by here for dinner because we heard good things about this place and supposedly it just opened up recently and I'm all about supporting family owned businesses so this was an easy call. Upon walking in we were greeted with positive energy from the server/host, he was super nice with great customer service and while we ordered helped us out with some questions which was greatly appreciated even when it was pretty busy. We ordered 2 Quesabirria plates & 1 chicken/beef Fajitas on a sizzling skillet (came with rice and beans) The birria was super cheesy and delicious and when you dip it into the consume (broth) it elevates everything to another level! The Fajitas were also great tasting and I personally liked how they cut everything to bite sized pieces unlike a lot of places that do huge chunks. I rated 4/5 because there are a few things I believe they could add and change to become a 5 ALLDAY. First the wait for the food was a bit long but the quality will overcome that so not a big deal and is an easy fix. Secondly which I feel hurts my rating the most would be that they don't really have a spicy salsa and I love a good kick to my food especially when it's super delicious and this place is! We saw this place had rave reviews so went in to try it. The place was clean not many people there for it being peak lunch hour, not good sign, I ordered large combo came not large at all !! In fact I could barely see the enchilada it was soo small and the chalupa was cooked so much that It crumbled to pieces when I tried to pick it up. Definitely Not. Worth $16. If that's a large combo I'd hate to see the small one. We won't be going back anytime soon read more

I really wanted to love this place. Several great reviews made it a must visit while we were in pullman. In the end it was just so so. We were quickly seated and given the standard chips and salsa. Few minutes later Esteban came to take our order. Within 10 minutes he came back with our order. It looked fantastic and was super hot. I told him I would like a drink menu and a refill on my water. Esteban never returned until he dropped our check. We had to ask another waiter twice for water. We went for half the meal without anything to drink. At some point we asked for more salsa from the water and chip boy who never came through either. For a place that only had customers at 5 tables it was pretty bad. The food ended up being just ok and the service was a fail. This place could be great. Unfortunately we will not be back to experience it. read more

So yummy. I got Flautas and a drink and it came to be $20.45 after tax. I had one with shredded beef and because they were awesome they offered to let me have one with carnitas. Heaven. The beef was good the carnitas even more so. I am definitely going to have to come back because I couldn't choose what I wanted! The sope also lacks authenticity! The camarones a la diabla are just ketchup:( spicy ketchup. Camarones a la diabla require ketchup but this was just ketchup. Disappointed. The beans and rice taste kind of old or just overcooked. I'm giving them a 5 star because they were soooo friendly but food is okay food just not MEXICAN FOOD. Absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and homely and when I asked to recommend me something she told me her chicken tortilla soup was her favorite. I couldn't sway off the fact that the carne asada was staring at me in the face . She said you can never go wrong with the carne asada it's really hard for someone to mess that up. So I tested that theory oh boy was the flavor profile spot on . Though the meat was a little gamy only reason why I gave it 4 stars. My partner mentioned that when a restaurant gives you something to munch on while you wait you know it's good . The best part and the sad part is seeing most of my refried beans gone and the culprit was my partner haha . Learning about Nayarit beach in Mexico will now be a place on my bucket list to visit. Super sweet staff, ACTUALLY decent Mexican food, and a chill eating environment. Was told about them opening a bit ago and was searching for Mexican food that wasn't terrible here in Pullman. Perfect match found! They are all very sweet and friendly, I'm so happy they opened up here. Gotten a couple different dishes here and they didn't disappoint. I got mine off the seafood part of the menu specifically shrimp entrees and they were all great! I always worry about ordering seafood at places that aren't super known for there seafood menu and I was pleasantly surprised.
