2 for 1 margaritas was my go to for many years, I highly recommend it before a dentist appointment. The food is consistently good with generous portions. The drinks are also generous! Mitch and his staff are hospitable and very efficient. They get you seated and sitting in front of chips and salsa immediately. They handle a bustling dining area well. You will be taken good care of. The seating area feels like Mexico and the outdoor area is great 3/4 of the year. It's clean, colorful and comfortable. La Casa Lopez was delicious and I cannot wait to go back. Right from the start I was happy to hear they sell Coke products. I was also very impressed by how they not only brought chips and salsa but they brought a warm bean dip that was so delicious. The Casa burrito absolutely amazed me with how big that thing is. I think it might be 10 inches but it looks like it's a foot long. And I'm glad it was because it was delicious. Me and my family each left with leftovers because they give you your moneys worth here. An excellent place! On Wednesdays, they have a buy one get one free deal on margaritas and the bar area has two big tv screens if you want to watch any sports (we came during a World Series game). The owner is also nice and our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient. She was also extremely responsive - she noticed I was looking over in her direction and came to check on us almost immediately. Our complimentary chips, salsa and black bean dip was also quickly brought over to us The food itself was also excellent: the house black bean dip is delicious and the house margarita also excellent. My friend and I both ordered chimichangas and found everything tasty. The burrito was packed with filling - I definitely got my money's worth of shrimp. The sauce paired well with everything and the rice was perfectly cooked. It's packed with flavor and seasoning - but no one thing is overpowering, making for a pleasant eating experience all around. The portions are also super large so this was my lunch the next day - and for the price, it's a great value. Overall, if I'm in the area again, I would highly recommend to everyone. read more

These tacos really hit the spot. I tried one of each type and my favorite was the carne asada. The meat was tender and flavorful with just the right amount of char. The tortillas tasted homemade and were warm and soft. Toppings were fresh and not overloaded. It came with two sauces on the side which added great flavor. Always a great time at La Casa! Food is always delicious and consistent. Their chile verde is amazing, I got it in the cheese chimichanga and it was amazing. Portions are very generous. Drinks are great too. By far one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Wait staff is always very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I've tried all of the Mexican places in the Pullman/ Moscow area and I'd say this is the best place to get Mexican food around here. First, I love their chips and salsa, you also get bean dip which is sooo good. I got a mango margarita blended and it was okay, it wasn't good but it wasn't bad. As for the food, it was delicious. I got the cheesy chimichangas with some salsa on top and it was awesome. Same as the mole enchiladas, very delicious. As for the service, it was great. Our server was on top of it, and always checking up on us. It was also super quick service even on a Friday night. As for the inside of the restaurant, it was super nice. I loved the decorations and how comfy and large the booth seats are. If you plan on getting Mexican food around here, your best bet is this place. read more

We both had the combination plates. The red sauce had no taste or flavor straight out of a can. The Salsa and chips were great. We ordered iced teas and finally delivered near the end of the meal. The chips and salsa (and the addition of the refried black beans, yum) had me hopeful for a great entree experience. I was left disappointed in my tostada and my horchata. I am from California, and I grew up on central valley mexican food (aka some of the best mexican food you can get). La Casa Lopez is absolutely delectale, and is the best mexican food I've had since leaving california. Servers are always so fast and friendly, I always make sure to tip well. The restaurant is nice-looking as well, I love the fountain in the middle. I would recommend every dish I've had here - my go-to is the classic enchiladas with chicken, or chicken fajitas. They usually make me a strawberry mojito when I ask for it, and these are incredible. The mocktails/virgin cocktails are also fantastic, especially the virgin pina colada. The bean dip is my favorite thing, I wish I could order an entire bowl of it. I come here with my work friends at least once a week! Absolutely recommend. read more

Food has improved over time staff is very friendly and place is beautiful but I find that they seem to water down drinks especially on drink nights. That or the bartender is not constant at making drinks. But I definitely recommend to everyone to watch your drinks. read more

LOVE La Casa Lopez! The black bean dip, salsa, and in-house made chips you get as an appetizer for dinner is so good, you'll want to fill up on it before you get your main entree; but you gotta save room for your meal because it'll be amazing! My favorite thing to order is either the enchiladas or the fajitas - which come served in a steaming hot pan. I also love how flavorful the rice and bean sides are. Seating is great, with indoor and outdoor options, and the service is always phenomenal. Really can't recommend enough! read more

This place was disappointing. The food was incredibly bland, the chips were stale, and my piña colada wasn't blended enough so it wouldn't suck through the straw. It also had a strong fishy smell when you walked in that was off putting. We had a table of 6 people and the consensus was that the food was not good. Inside is like going to Mexico. Very nice! The food is huge portions and everyone enjoyed the meals. As soon as you're seated they bring you tortilla chips not only with salsa but also really yummy bean dip. The drinks are really reasonable. A regular house margarita was less than $6. The huge one was $11. Great prices. They use a lot of sauces like on your burrito. You can always ask for it on the side. Staff is very accommodating and very nice. When again we are up that way I'm sure our Son and Shelly B. Will take us back. And we look forward to going back and visiting. read more

This place is a STAPLE. Did you even go to WSU if you didn't eat at La Casa Lopez?! The carne asada is tender and juicy with the perfect char. The queso shredded chicken enchiladas are fire. Comes with a side of rice and beans. The steak fajitas are huge and sooo filling. I took half home for later. The bean dip alone is worth coming here. I don't know what they put in it but do not overlook it. The margs omg are sooo good. I like sweet & fruity drinks so I usually get the peach mango blended marg. I dined at La Casa Lopez last night - the food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. It's awesome to have an excellent Mexican restaurant in Moscow, Idaho. What is even more amazing is that I left my purse at the restaurant and didn't realize it until the next morning. Since the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, I didn't know how I would get my purse back, but the owner personally left his home on a Sunday morning, unlocked the restaurant, and allowed me to get my items. How amazing is that? That's the highest quality service I've ever had at a restaurant. Beyond expectations! read more

The food is 5-stars! I have tried quite a few of their dishes and have yet to find a dud. My favorite is the shrimp diablo, if you don't mind a little spice. Wait times can be long for big groups, so plan accordingly. Prices have always been higher than I'm used to for Mexican food, and have gone up even more with inflation recently. Many dishes are $16+, which adds up when you have a group. I suppose that's going to be the case in a lot of places these days though. Was in town for my cousins golf tournament and our family decided to stop by this place. The wait was really long, I'm not sure why though. The food was just alright. I guess coming from Houston I got spoiled with all the Mexican and Tex mex food there. When you get seated they give you unlimited chips and salsa. Their menu is pretty big, they offer a lot of options. The portions are big as well however the food was just mediocre. I ordered a michelada and it was just awful here. Was told the wait time would be 10-15 minutes which was not bad at all. The wait time in actuality was about 3 minutes-- they got us seated so quickly! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Got our chips and dip to us in a manner of minutes after sitting down. The chips and dip were so warm and tasted good. Waitress took our order quick and our food also came in a quick manner as well. Overall the service was fantastic. But, the food was super bland. Start with the positive the Salsa was tasty. We didn't get the black beans (think they forgot) not a big deal. The booths look super cool but,are super worn out. Literally had a 2 inch difference to hard unused cushion to worn in like dads easy chair to the hard wood. Everything is missing salt, the sauces had no flavor. No weekday lunch specials so prices are all between $19 to $22. Didn't try the drinks but guessing that is what keeps them in business. I've been using Casa for to-go since the first signs of COVID. They, along with Sangria, have proven themselves to be the most trusted restaurants in town, doing fantastic service to the community. They do it right, and they do it efficiently and fast. On top of this, the food is the best Mexican in the area. When we get back to it or you feel comfortable, you'll find a welcoming and fast service inside or on the patio or bar. Casa might be the longest running restaurant in town because the food is excellent, service is fast and efficient, and it's a fun place to be. Surprisingly, the best cheeseburger in town! Came here today to honor the 1 year anniversary of Mom's passing with my sister. It also happened to be the same day as WSU's graduation so it was packed and the servers were busy. Despite this. The back and front of house were getting food and drinks out quickly. We had to wait a few minutes for refills but I think they can be pardoned for it. We were seated quickly and had chips, salsa and black bean dip... yummy. The salsa is spicy and has a little too much cilantro. I say that only because I'm one of those who are genetically disinclined to like it. If you like spicy and cilantro, you'll love it. If you prefer something mild, the black beans are right up your alley. On order we had a daiquiris, a Diet Coke, and a margarita. My sister ordered the three item combo and for myself I had the shredded beef chimichanga. I know it's not exactly authentic but I love chimichangas. And it was fricken good.
