As mentioned, I'm not what one would call "good looking". At 7am, as a skinny, bald, old dude with big ears and skin that's so pale I'd be transparent if not for freckles and moles, I could perhaps put out an aura of being undead. Zombie, maybe a ghoul from Fallout, or perhaps a little Beetlejuice mixed with a lot of Elmer Fudd without the penchant for hunting wabbits. I believe that the connection we had as undead-likes may have been a part of the contagious happiness. Or maybe this lady was just cooler than the other side of the pillow (RIP SS). It was the latter. Both ladies that morning made getting labs drawn an absolute joy, and that's not hyperbole. We were joking, laughing, Miss Dee was my phlebotomist, and after chastising me for not drinking any water or anything (she didn't want me to get dehydrated), she stuck me and continued the laughter. Before I knew it, we were done, I was leaving, and I felt better than I had any right to. Miss Dee and her companion, whose name I did not get, deserve every bit of praise I can muster. It's approximately 24 hours later, and I have to look hard to see where I was stuck. Amazing. 11/10 Vampiring by Miss Dee, would totally be deblooded (Dee-blooded?) again.

First off- their machine is down so you couldn't check in and had you sign in manually and then while waiting for a while already they're telling everyone if you don't have the paperwork they can't do it. Well- people take time off from work to take care of this. Instead of waiting for me- Roi and Courtney took two other patients which had me wait again but my appointment was 830. Well when it was my time, I sat down and Roi went out to talk to other people. So I asked rude lady Courtney if she can take care of me now since I have to be somewhere. Courtney was rude and said she's almost done she'll get to you. Now when Roi verifying my information with me- I said wow this is a bad experience for 1st time and I usually go to quest. How about she said "you can go to quest now if you want" that made me livid! So I told her no, I'm getting it done here this time and will go to Quest next time since y'all made me wait forever already. How can you talk smart butt to a patient that already is feeling disappointed on how everything is going? Rude Courtney came up said "well the system is down and can't do anything about it" and she even yelled to Roi to make sure I was not recording because I'm wearing meta glasses! So after Roi drew my blood, she told me I have to give a urine sample. While I was in the bathroom I could hear Courtney asking Roi if I left already and Roi said no. Why she asked? You guess it. So she can talk shit about me - their patient. So yes- after this 1st super disappointing and upsetting experience! I will never go back to this Labcorp and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMIES!

They had others scheduled at the same time but they were in and out of there pretty quick. I just needed a blood draw to check my numbers and the phlebotomist stuck me in my arm perfectly in spot that others struggle to find a vein. That's amazing. I was out of there in record time. I was seen 5 minutes before my appointment time. The office was extremely clean and well maintained. I am EXTREMELY scared of needles. It took me years of gathering courage to make this appointment. I let the woman at the desk know that I am very nervous and will likely pass out. She said that's okay you'll be able to lay down. Kenya was the one who took my blood and she walked me to a back room. I was able to lay flat and the curtain was closed so it was calm lighting. Kenya was extremely understanding, compassionate, and patient. She did a fantastic job! Very little pain and even kept some small talk going to make sure I stayed calm. She let me lay there as long as I needed afterwards and I didn't feel rushed at all. Upon walking out, everyone congratulated me for doing it! I felt so supported and their kindness meant a lot. Overall, a really great experience and it's worth making an appointment beforehand so you can be seen quickly.
