That was my check in , easy peasy!! The waiting room was clean, organized and they had an electric board up in the waiting room to show what place you are in line for the phlebotomist. The phlebotomist was kind and caring. She engaged in small talk. She confirmed my insurance and identification. She was very professional and courteous to my needs. Was a great experience as there was no pain or discomfort from the blood withdrawal. Close to home and in and out without an issue. I hope to use this location more often. read more

Reviewing a medical facility feels a little odd, but I had such a great experience I just had to share. I had an appointment and checked in on my phone before I even walked in. I was seen 5 minutes before my appointment time. The office was extremely clean and well maintained. I am EXTREMELY scared of needles. It took me years of gathering courage to make this appointment. I let the woman at the desk know that I am very nervous and will likely pass out. She said that's okay you'll be able to lay down. Kenya was the one who took my blood and she walked me to a back room. I was able to lay flat and the curtain was closed so it was calm lighting. Kenya was extremely understanding, compassionate, and patient. She did a fantastic job! Very little pain and even kept some small talk going to make sure I stayed calm. She let me lay there as long as I needed afterwards and I didn't feel rushed at all. Upon walking out, everyone congratulated me for doing it! I felt so supported and their kindness meant a lot. Overall, a really great experience and it's worth making an appointment beforehand so you can be seen quickly. read more

Experience was ok. Had WBC and urine orders marked STAT. Results mattered, High numbers meant back to being admitted for 72 hours of IV antibiotics, within normal or even high normal remain home with oral antibiotics. I verified that labs were not being sent to Tampa/Gainesville, means same day results. Here I am 72 hours later and nothing. Dr is sending me to the ER (New Years Day). Quest should have turned me (and others) away if they were so overwhelmed that could not do the simplest of labs in a timely manner. read more

When I went to get my blood work done the check in process for me was pretty quick when I walked in they immediately called my name the lady at the desk that was checking me in was very friendly and professional when I was getting my blood work done this young lady was very friendly and so sweet she drew my blood professionally afterwards I started to feel light headed she took good care of me she offered me some water and she gave me a wet paper towel for me head and she stayed there and waited for me to get better I recommended this place . read more

I've been here a number of times and I think they have this down to a science (pun not intended I think?). On this last trip I made an appointment a week ago online, got reminders all the way up til the day, checked in when I got in the parking lot and parked, went in and sat down no longer than 30 seconds before they called me to the back. I felt bad that there were other people waiting in there for what looked like much longer than me but it wasn't my fault. I did everything right. Precious the Phlebotomist was amazing. She found my vein in my right arm much easily than anyone else and I was out of there in about 5 minutes. Definitely love this location. read more

She told me how much of copay I needed I said I didn't have it and walked out. As I was leaving she was laughing hysterically. Would not recommend this specific location. Doctor ordered some routine blood tests so I came to Quest. This is not my first time at Quest, but it was my first at this location. This location is super convenient as it's like 3 mins from my house. I checked in online which is also super convenient. It was clean and nice inside. I got into the office and scanned my phone to check in. Your name is on the screen so you know your place in line, love that. But I noticed after about a minute of my name being in line, it disappeared. I thought that may have been because I was 2 mins past my appointment. I checked in again, same story. I walked up to the front desk as other patients kept being called before me.. nobody assisted me. I spent about 25 mins here before just walking out. I drove to another location on beach blvd and literally was taken back within 3 mins of arrival. I had my blood drawn and back in the car within 10 mins. Love Quest as it is super convenient, but Southside location is a joke. read more

Rude staff leading to low quality of care. They hold up the standby line for hours, not taking anyone from it and ignoring them. Appointments have to wait much longer than is reasonable as well. There is no way to speak to a human in the waiting room, and also not if you call them because it is only a robot answering machine that doesn't really ever address what you're calling for. read more

I didn't have as pleasant of an experience at the Old St Augustine Rd location where it's kiosk and appointments only. I have been here four times now and have never had a bad experience. The check in system is hands free and easy to use, I have never waited more than a few minutes. I havent gone as a walk in so I cant speak to that process. The staff has always been really friendly to me , and my results are back to me within a few days. If you make an online account with them, you can see your results from the comfort of your own home. If you have to get bloodwork, this is the place to go! read more

Went to Quest this morning for some labs and it wasn't too bad. I walked in and waited about 15 or so minutes before being called back. When you arrive you can check in at the kiosk they have. Then if you are using insurance a text message is sent to your phone so you can register and enter all your insurance information. Once in the back I found the staff to be pleasurable. Very smooth visit. Getting an Appt. on line. Better yet. Getting the Quest App is so worth it. I made my appt. last week it's super easy. You may want to ck Yelp Reviews. Not all locations are the same. I've been using Quest aprox 15yrs. Even if you have your Labs done at your Dr.s Office you can alternate. Between your Dr.s Office and Quest. Most Dr.s offices, if progressive and have a computer system. They are able to send the orders electronically to The Quest Lab System. Unless, your insurance does not allow you to go to a Lab of your choice. Best part for me is. They have more then 1 Kiosk you walk in. Sign in by scanning your App. Or enter your appt confirmation number. And, your set. --Not Necessary to go see a Rep to get Registered when they call you in. I was thrilled Eric,Phlebotomist called me straight to the drawing room. All my paper work was ready. Eric is efficient, professional. Very gentle, honestly. Didn't even feel a pinch. Obviously, lots of experience. Excellent OSHA Standards. Very important. Noticed, updated equipment. All in all. I was in & out of facility in aprox 15 min. Quest. Don't change a thing. Staff were great. I had to take my 13 month old to get her blood drawn. I was very nervous because of the covid 19 and because she had to get it taken from her arm versus a tie prick. I registered online and had insurance info done before we got there. As soon as we entered we were told that we had to wear masks. Thankfully I had them for both of us. They got us back immediately. They were very nice. It took two people to hold her arm and make sure that it was a one stick job. They got it done so fast that she barely had time to cry. Shout out to the staff at this location for being awesome from beginning to end. I would recommend having an account with Quest or at least an appointment prior to arriving. I unfortunately did not make an appointment before arriving since none of the slots met my needs on their website, by the way, don't email them since they don't respond anyways. Upon arriving you will need to walk to the left and check-in with a tablet. Pretty simple. Once you are seated someone will then call you to the check-in desk, there's two if I recall correctly. Any-who, I checked in and my name was called almost instantly. From getting my measurements to blood, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to getting my blood drawn because they always have to try at least three or four times to get my vein, but my experience this morning at Quest really put my mind at ease. read more

Waited 2 hours to do a drug screen only for them to tell me when I went back that the screening machine was down. Zero decency to come out and inform me of this. No one was at the front desk so you could never check in and see what the delay was. When people finally did get them they'd complain and get taken back immediately in front of the people who were being patient and had appointments. I have visited this location MULTIPLE times when I was pregnant with my first child. Of all the locations around town (I have visited three) this one is my favorite. The wait time is either minimal or non-existent. You can make an appointment online but I have also just walked in and never waited long. The entire staff is pleasant, courteous, and VERY helpful. Kesha took my blood work and as I turned away and winced waiting for that initial stab of pain to come I realized, "Oh....it doesn't hurt..at all!" You have to get your blood drawn NUMEROUS times during a pregnancy and having it a painless and a FAST process is such a relief! The room you sit in for your glucose test is also serene with a tv and a recliner. I chose to take a nap instead of watching TV. The sugary drink they give you for the Glucose to drink tastes just like Gatorade too instead of the "sugary sludge" so many of my pregnant friends warned me it was going to taste like. It was a piece of cake drinking it! I really cannot recommend the professionalism of this location enough. I asked Kesha how long she had been a Phlebotomist and she said 14 years. Wait wasn't bad because I made appointment online. The phlebotomist wasn't the friendliest, she asked me to look over my info and sign. I found an error so I wrote the correct portion on the paper. She got upset when she saw and muttered very fast something like, you wrote on my paper; and argued about what I wrote saying it was wrong. After that she took my blood and said thanks, but turned away immediately. All staff at this location do not look at the patients or speak to us directly. And it's probably because they don't want to waste time talking to us. But I really needed a bathroom and waited until after the blood draw to ask but had to ask like three times before she acknowledged me. So yeah, don't expect attentive staff. read more

I went to quest yesterday for blood work and my wait time was about an hour. I was okay with that because I did not have an appointment. When I was called to the back, I realized that the phlebotomist did not have any customer service skills. She asked my for my insurance information, I said here it is, as I handed her a paper from my doctor with all of my information. She replies, so you don't have it. What do you mean I don't have it, it's in your hand. My doctor ordered the wrong test so she needed to call the office. When speaking with the doctors office she was very rude. I was required to get a drug test for work and it was suggested to make an appointment. So I went ahead and made an appointment for 245pm. My name got called within 5 minutes after check in to go sign the the back "testing zone" where I waited an hour after my appointment to finally be seen. For a simple urine test. I don't know if they were understaffed but the way they ran the process was not efficient at all. Made an appointment online, Showed up 15 mins early and patiently waited. 45 minutes later I checked to see if they had missed the appointment (so many were getting called back who came in after I did) and the desk had marked off my name but never called. They asked me to wait and they would call me back. Waited another 10 mins while they continued calling back more customers who came in after I did.
