This restaurant was insanely delicious-- what's not to love ? They have delicious options AND ROBOTS ! They have little robots bringing around food which improves service. It's so fun and delicious! The ambiance is very lively and exciting ! Had a great time with a variety of options and will definitely be back soon!

Servers were very friendly and attentive, making sure you have enough water and asking if you want to order more. We went at 6:30pm on Friday and waited around 15 minutes. If you show up closer to 7, the waiting time will be much longer. There's a sauce station with lots of option and they even have instructions to create premade sauce. Lots of side dishes including fruits, kimchi and salads. There's a decent dessert selection and my favorite is the mango ice cream. Vibes are very good in general. They even have little robots roaming around and serving food. Very family friendly and I'd definitely recommended this place for hotpot.

Perhaps my new favorite spot for hot pot! Mg husband and I came on a Friday night and waited about 30 minutes for a table around 6:30. You choose between hot pot, bbq, or both - just as long as everyone at your table decides on the same thing. We opted for hot pot only. I was impressed with the amount of ingredients they had! The meats and mushrooms were my favorites. The sauce and veggie bars were great too! So many good options. There were three things that stood out: - Our server. He was cheerful, helpful, and not overbearing. Checked in on us the perfect amount of times. - The broths! They were actually flavorful and you could tell the difference between them. We got the curry and tom yum and both were delicious. - I didn't feel gross and bloated afterward (when usually after hot pot I do) I'm attesting this to the quality of the ingredients. I can't wait to go back!

Super Good meats and seafood. Octopus and squid were excellent. Robot waiters were fun, the actual staff was very helpful as well. The sides bar was great with a lot of choices for dipping sauces. Dessert was simple but tasty.

1st time at J Pot. My friends and I had the hot pot and bbq for dinner and it was delicious.

This restaurant offers both hotpot and Korean BBQ. My group chose to do hotpot only. It was decent, but to be honest, my experiences with hotpot and KBBQ have all felt pretty similar--nothing mind-blowing. I got the chicken bone broth, which was good, and the other soup bases were solid as well. Here, you order everything through the server using an iPad. The portion sizes for the meat were pretty generous. Some vegetables are self-serve, as well as the sauces, which I found impressive because they offer a great variety. However, I wouldn't recommend their Hmong pepper sauce--it wasn't great. They also have a good selection of fruits and desserts. For birthdays, they do provide a small sack mini square cake, but it's nothing special. Unfortunately, I was a bit grossed out by small flies in my soup, which is why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5. The location is nice, the space inside is spacious, and overall, it's an okay spot. The service was alright but could be better.

This is a super fun and delicious place! Super clean and well staffed. Went here with a couple people for a bday and we had no idea how fun the experience would be. Went had a great tutorial from outlet human wait staff and ordered a whole lot of food. We had the combo of hot pot and bbq. Great concept-you pick the raw food and then you get to cook it right on your table. We really loved the beef bulgogi, the shrimp and the veggies. Lots of sauces and fresh veggies to add to your meal. It's not cheap, but we all agreed it's worth the price. Def recommend!

Recommended this place by my brother and it was well worth it. We went with my brother and my parents . Our server , Ace, was super friendly and pleasant to interact with. He was funny and took the time to explain everything to us. It is $35 for hot pot or Korean bbq or you can dk both for $40. I love the fact you get your own hot pot. That was pretty good. The salad bar and the sauce bar had a lot of selections. I even found pineapples and mango's we could grill. The selection was good and the robot brought us some of the food we ordered. My bf and I laughed because the robot played the Mario theme song. This place very ascetically pleasing . Very spacious and well decorated . Can't wait to come back again.

J Pot was such a fun experience! The location was very nicely decorated to feel like you were in Asia. We did have to wait a bit to be sat, but it was worth the wait! Once we were seated, we had speedy and super helpful service. We ordered both the hot pot and the barbecue and I would highly recommend trying both options! Grilling in front of you was so much fun and so was using the hot pot. It was a very lively experience and it gave us the opportunity to try a bunch of new things. I would definitely recommend!

My friends and I went to get some All You Can Eat Kbbq and it was pretty good! The waiter was attentive; he gave my friend an apron since she was wearing white, refilled our drinks, and switch out the hot plate grill. Love their side dish options.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. I love kbbq and hot pot, and it's amazing that I can go somewhere and have both. The service is always good. One of my parents is in a wheelchair and it was busy but the back room was closed. They opened up the back room instead of making us wait for a table in the main room to open up. I really appreciate that! My parent can't sit in a booth or chair, they need to be in their wheelchair at all times. So it was nice - some places just don't care. The food quality is always consistently good. I love the marinated short ribs, bulgogi and garlic shrimp. The marinades complement the grill flavor. The sauce bar is packed with a ton of options to customize your experience, and there's always fresh fruit and jello. They have yummy ice cream and mousse options as well. Overall, I highly recommend this place! Especially because they're accommodating and accessible for people in wheelchairs.

Authentic K-BBQ & Hot Pot Place. Except they don't have "tongue" which is usually the most popular items in K-BBQ Great value for your money. Service is A+ Our server's Noah is very knowledgable and recommends really good stuff! If you're not familiar with this cuisine, don't hesitate to ask your server for help We waited about 10 minute before we get a table. There's a salad bar, sauce bar, vegetable (to cook) bar, dessert bar. Everything else you ordered thru your server and a cute robot will bring your orders to your table. For Hot Pot, Everyone gets individual pot with broth of your choice. The K-BBQ it's communal and center of table. Air filter here is pretty good. So don't worry about excess smoke Make sure you come hungry and ready to have fun. Don't eat too fast, enjoy!

We were looking to try a new place my wife, sister, and myself so we decided to give J Pot a try. This establishment was very nice, inside and out. I loved the ambiance, and the robots playing Super Mario theme was a nice touch. May was our server, she took her time explaining everything to us since it was our very first visiting this restaurant. May also made sure to give us great advice on how to order the food so we didn't waste any. Plus all of the food advice she gave us was spot on, very glad she was our server. We ordered the hot pot and the BBQ so we could get the full experience. May also told us there was a bar with additional veggies and fruits for $5 additional. And the hotpot and BBQ was priced at $39.95 if you go for the lunch menu it's cheaper but we were there for dinner. I also tried the organic strawberry lemonade that May suggested and it was very delicious. We had a great time, the food was wonderful, and we liked the service. The only thing we didn't like is that they do not let customers use the vegetable spray. The servers only spray it when they first give you the new grill cover to cook on. However, it makes it so that the grill covers have to be replaced often because the food residue burns on the grill covers. Outside of that, this place was perfect, and we will definitely return.

It was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot, so the server explained the menu and took our drink order. He also informed us where we could find the sauce bar (near the entrance) if we wanted sauces. Good. We ordered and received the Hot Pot bases and all of the toppings relatively quickly. The server turned on the bbq pit thing in the center of the table once the proteins arrived. Great! The table ordered Original, Miso, Kimchi (best favor), and Tom Thai. Most of the flavors were bland at best, except the Kimichi, which was too spicy for most of the table but it was tasty! Bc I was sharing a pot with someone that can't tolerate spicy, I didn't get that base. We tried the soup bases. Meh... Everyone added proteins and veggies to their soups. 6 out of 7 people were disappointed with the hot pots. The common complaint was "this doesn't have flavor." We had two 10 years that enjoyed watching the squid tentacles curl in the soup but not the soup, specifically bc it was bland. This was true for most of us at the table. The beef, chicken and pork all had a mild fishy taste but lacked beef, chicken, or pork flavor. I cooked the protein on the little table grill with chopsticks (we weren't provided with tongs) but again, no flavor. I went to the sauce bar for the table (I found the tongs there). We were told about the sauce bar but not about the tongs, which made my personal experience laborious bc I was one of two people decent with chopsticks at our table. Anyways, sauce bar. Got sauces. Sauces didn't help cover the fish taste. Nor did the sauce help the already cooked protein taste good. The ambiance was smoky, probably due to the grills on the table but of our guests had to leave bc the smoke gave him a headache. The started off nicely but as the meal progressed the server never came to refill drinks or inquire about our meal. He didn't provide recommendations to get the best experience and he didn't provide serving utensils. All in all, I don't recommend. I would like a refund but based on the lack of serve (especially knowing this was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot), I didn't feel comfortable saying anything and I didn't feel like being upset. We just decided to not return and leave a review. Passive, yes, but the experience remained underwhelming not overwhelming. ALSO, you get ice cream bars at the end of your meal! They didn't tell us that! But I saw so many other guests eating them and we were still hungry, I asked if they were included in our PREMIUM DINNER. Ice cream was included. No one told us until we asked. We spent close to $300 dollars for this meal and we received subpar serve and subpar fishy food. I don't recommend.

Best broth bases - mala spicy, pork bone, and Tom yum are endorsed by me and my girlfriend Great foodstuffs - qual egg, udon noodles, good fatty beef, crab sticks, good old cabbage, tofu, bean curd, enoki mushroom etc - Lamb and pork are alright at this location, could be better Great sauce bar, as I can assemble my staples - Sauce 1: black vinegar, chili oil with flake, garlic oil with garlic, sesame oil, scallions, cilantro (about equal parts and adjust); season with sugar, salt and soy sauce if desired - Sauce 2: lots of sesame paste, and leave as is or maybe add scallions, chili oil, sesame seed **I do wish they had chive paste** - Sauce 3: Oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, cilantro, green onion, black vinegar Value - it's like 30-35 dollars a person here. - I often leave more satisfied here than I do after a "fancy" night on the north loop What's missing - ambiance is okay - I do like a huge communal pot - Chive flower paste - Pork and lamb could be better - Broths are good, but I like the Chicago restaurants best Local hot pot honorable mentions - the place at Asia Mall with the electric rack innovation - Legendary Spice - you are free to grab a tray and raid their fridges/freezers for whatever meat, vegetable, etc you want. But the borth wasn't as good. Overall, it's rather expensive but quality is in some ways lower than Le Pot. - J Pot - Korean bbq and hot pot.
