Had Chinese AYCE hotpot for the first time and it's an experience You get to pick all your own proteins , veggies seafood from the coolers/fridges and then head to the sauce bar and make up your own dipping sauces - there is a ton of options to choose from Then you get 2 base broths to cook all your stuff in on the table- the server will show you how to control the temperature Just be warned that the spicy broth is !!! They now offer AYCE sushi which was also good but I was so full only had one small portion Really liked by bubble tea on the side

My experience was average - some good things like flavorful broth, lots of options, and was able to get sat right away... but also some bad, like less than fresh produce in the refrigerator section, difficult parking, and server never came to check on me. I would try some other hot pot places in town before returning.

Lots of variety (vegetables, beef, seafood) to add to the hot pot! Really liked the beef and variety of vegetables to add in. Server was also super nice and friendly.

Kung fu hot pot has good food and great customer service! I tried the hot pot for the first time and my waiter was extremely helpful. I tried the hot pot with veggies and Ramen and I love the unique flavor profile. The decor was a cozy, traditional restaurant and I had no problem parking on the street. The egg rolls, fried tempura veggies, and spring rolls were delicious along with the sauces. and it was all you can eat, which was a plus!

The food is awesome and very tasty. It doesn't look all that big in the refrigerators they have, but it definitely expands. We tried the shrimp and crawfish. Not the best it was a little gritty. The beef rolls, lamb rolls and meatballs were great. The service was excellent, they took dirty dishes quickly and made sure our drinks were full. They were friendly also as we had never been here before and they explained how it worked. One of the only hard things was finding parking. It on street and metered so a little challenging.

Hot pot is a new experience for me. My friend brought us here for all-you-can-eat hot pot and showed me the ropes. A simple concept - a ring on the table heats the pot of broth. Into the broth, you pour in stuff to cook. And when it's cooked, you pull it out and eat. We opted for two broths - beef and tomato. And then it's time to load up a bowl from the coolers. Different frozen meats including chicken, beef, meatballs, octopus, crawfish. A second cooler with veggies including onions, mushrooms, peppers and the like. There are also a few different types of noodles available. Yes, it's all you can eat. They will refill the broth as needed and they will bring more rice. It's delicious and you can absolutely get your money's worth here. Yum! [Review 20734 overall - 145 in Minnesota - 1716 of 2023.]

Our first ever hot pot experience surely didn't disappoint! Our waiter was very polite and had a wonderful attitude. It created a very welcoming atmosphere right off the bat! Lots of food options and it was all SO delicious and fun! This is a MUST for anyone looking to enjoy an extravagant and unique meal. I will absolutely return!

Best place for AYCE hot pot in the cities! I attended their grand opening and I just keep coming back! The service is always nice and I love the self serve aspect. You grab your little tray and pick from a variety of choices! (Meat/fish/veggies) There's also a little sauce bar with so many options. Soo worth visiting especially during a cold winter day. It will def warm you up. :D

I swirl it for 10 seconds or so then let it rest on my sauce of choice - sesame paste sauce, or chili garlic oil sauce. I'll eat it, along with noodle or rice, a qail egg perhaps. My mouth explodes with flavor. Every time. Hot pot, hot pot. In my gastronomical journey through life, Chinese hot pot is possibly my greatest encounter. And locally, it's Le Pot. Best broth bases - mala spicy, pork bone, and Tom yum are endorsed by me and my girlfriend Great foodstuffs - qual egg, udon noodles, good fatty beef, crab sticks, good old cabbage, tofu, bean curd, enoki mushroom etc - Lamb and pork are alright at this location, could be better Great sauce bar, as I can assemble my staples - Sauce 1: black vinegar, chili oil with flake, garlic oil with garlic, sesame oil, scallions, cilantro (about equal parts and adjust); season with sugar, salt and soy sauce if desired - Sauce 2: lots of sesame paste, and leave as is or maybe add scallions, chili oil, sesame seed **I do wish they had chive paste** - Sauce 3: Oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, cilantro, green onion, black vinegar Value - it's like 30-35 dollars a person here. - I often leave more satisfied here than I do after a "fancy" night on the north loop What's missing - ambiance is okay - I do like a huge communal pot - Chive flower paste - Pork and lamb could be better - Broths are good, but I like the Chicago restaurants best Local hot pot honorable mentions - the place at Asia Mall with the electric rack innovation - Legendary Spice - you are free to grab a tray and raid their fridges/freezers for whatever meat, vegetable, etc you want. But the borth wasn't as good. Overall, it's rather expensive but quality is in some ways lower than Le Pot. - J Pot - Korean bbq and hot pot. The Chinese flavors were not as authentic, broths not as good to me, but wow having Korean bbq and hot pot at the same time! It's a decent value too.

By far, our favorite was the pork bone broth, which is the house specialty. And then, if your hot pot broth is not to your liking, you can alter it using the sauce and seasoning bar. We also got the Szechuan peppercorn and the wild mushroom broth, all three were good. The Szechuan peppercorn was a bit of a one trick pony, but if you cooked it in pork broth and then dipped it in Szechuan peppercorn broth oh, it was delicious.. Anything and everything you'd want to put in your hot pot is available and you could just go get it for yourself. I really like this element because there are things I don't want in my hot pot and there's things I want doubly in my hot pot., and with this model, I can select whatever I want. You can also get all you can eat off the menu as well, for dim sum and grilled items, but honestly, we couldn't eat very much of those. We were very full from hot pot. I highly recommend spending the three dollars for the all you can drink tea and lemonade. It was also to die for. I don't usually drink sugar drinks, but I made an exception today and I am not sorry. I also wanna give a shout out to the staff who were incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you, Abigail and the guy whose name I didn't catch..

It was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot, so the server explained the menu and took our drink order. He also informed us where we could find the sauce bar (near the entrance) if we wanted sauces. Good. We ordered and received the Hot Pot bases and all of the toppings relatively quickly. The server turned on the bbq pit thing in the center of the table once the proteins arrived. Great! The table ordered Original, Miso, Kimchi (best favor), and Tom Thai. Most of the flavors were bland at best, except the Kimichi, which was too spicy for most of the table but it was tasty! Bc I was sharing a pot with someone that can't tolerate spicy, I didn't get that base. We tried the soup bases. Meh... Everyone added proteins and veggies to their soups. 6 out of 7 people were disappointed with the hot pots. The common complaint was "this doesn't have flavor." We had two 10 years that enjoyed watching the squid tentacles curl in the soup but not the soup, specifically bc it was bland. This was true for most of us at the table. The beef, chicken and pork all had a mild fishy taste but lacked beef, chicken, or pork flavor. I cooked the protein on the little table grill with chopsticks (we weren't provided with tongs) but again, no flavor. I went to the sauce bar for the table (I found the tongs there). We were told about the sauce bar but not about the tongs, which made my personal experience laborious bc I was one of two people decent with chopsticks at our table. Anyways, sauce bar. Got sauces. Sauces didn't help cover the fish taste. Nor did the sauce help the already cooked protein taste good. The ambiance was smoky, probably due to the grills on the table but of our guests had to leave bc the smoke gave him a headache. The started off nicely but as the meal progressed the server never came to refill drinks or inquire about our meal. He didn't provide recommendations to get the best experience and he didn't provide serving utensils. All in all, I don't recommend. I would like a refund but based on the lack of serve (especially knowing this was our first experience at a Hot Pot spot), I didn't feel comfortable saying anything and I didn't feel like being upset. We just decided to not return and leave a review. Passive, yes, but the experience remained underwhelming not overwhelming. ALSO, you get ice cream bars at the end of your meal! They didn't tell us that! But I saw so many other guests eating them and we were still hungry, I asked if they were included in our PREMIUM DINNER. Ice cream was included. No one told us until we asked. We spent close to $300 dollars for this meal and we received subpar serve and subpar fishy food. I don't recommend.

It's a seasonally priced item on their menu. As of April 5th, the price was around $72.00 for a full lobster. It was steamed I think, then what I find odd but unique is the chef chopped up the lobster while still in it's shell then mixed the sticky rice and scrambled eggs with it, onto a large serving plate. It looks nice and delicious. I thought the lobster would've been de-shelled. So if you don't want to mess with the lobster shell maybe ask if they can exclude it from your dish.
