They did a great job. My only complaint is on the gutters, I asked them to come out and replace a downspout because it looked funny in white and would look much better if they used the gutter color. It was a change in house elevation so the downspout did not come all the way down. They replaced it with a different color and spray painted it to match. The spray paint is peeling off now, so I just noticed what they did. It just seemed little sneaky to do. I would have waited for them to replace it with the correct color. Other than that they were wonderful. read more

Great communication, prompt, seemingly honest (told me up front what couldn't be covered by warranty and why), pricing not too low or too high, fell in the middle of other estimates. Now, we wait for the rain to come and see what happens. At this point, I have no problem recommending JH Construction for your gutter needs. read more

I had over 10 companies come out to give me a estimate for Alumawood patio cover. Jeff who is the owner came out and gave me a estimate and was definitely the best fit. He was honest got the measurements right away and made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. We picked styles and colors right then and there and he submitted it all same day. They had told me materials would be in by early july and he would call as soon as they arrived. I got a call early saying materials were in, and we were able to install next day. A few weeks prior to when I had expected! So I was really happy about that. The whole process was easy and not complicated. Jeff the owner was easy to chat with and always got back to me right away, and Peter who installed was great explaining and going over everything with me install day. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a patio cover! Thank you! read more

These guys are amazing. They will come to your house prepared with a mission. Very professional, quick and the quality of their work is outstanding. Jeff the owner is great, dealing with him will make you feel like just talking to a friend. He's honest, accommodating and has a very good communication during the entire process. He even agreed to offer me a ceiling fan for free and he shopped around for different brands for me to choose from. He has great taste and not just look for a regular looking fan lol. I highly recommend this company and believe me, you won't regret it. read more

I hired JH to install rain gutters at the back side of my house, particularly because I have plans to have a lumawood patio cover installed on that side as well, and the company that's installing them recommended I do that first. Short story To those in the market for a contractor. Here's my take. Pros- good quality work, very accommodating with your timeline, very respectful and personable contractors Cons- doesn't seem like they invest a whole lot on the customer service side, fuzzy logic on how the pricing works Long story So I call to get an over the phone quote from JH. I explain my situation and that the total footage is approximately 40 ft. I'm quoted $440. Mind you, I have zero experience with rain gutters. So I have no reference for how the pricing works other than now I can assume that the pricing is $10.10 a foot. So Jeff comes out to finalize the pricing and confirms the cost for the back of the house is $440. He also quotes rain gutters for the entire house at my request, but I decided to stick with just the back, over the location of where the patio cover would stand. I sign the contract and it's schedule for the following week. The contractors come by a week later. They finish up in less than an hour, and from what I can tell, did a great job. It was a very clean and subtle look. It certainly surpassed my expectations of how rain gutters would look on my house. Also, the gentlemen who actually did the work, were very personable. To them, I give 5stars. However, looking up at the rain gutters, I was a bit surprised when the rain gutters only spanned about halfway across the back of the house. Then I had the ah-ha/duh moment. Half of the roof is a triangle! So I call Jeff curious about the pricing, thinking $440 was for a 40 ft job. And that's when Jeff decided to highlight the laws of physics, and referred me to the contract. Now, I know it's not Jeff's job to teach folks about the laws of physics, or to read the contract out loud to them. But I do believe at some point in time, Jeff made a conscious decision to not be forthright about the pricing...at least from a verbal perspective. Or he just didn't care enough to feel the need to mention those details. At least that was the feeling I got from it. I wish the company great success, and it looks like most ppls experience was 5stars, but unfortunately it wasn't the same for me. read more

From start to finish, this is by far the most professional experience I have had with any sort of building construction done at my house. It all started with Jeff, the owner of the company. He estimated and coordinated the completion of this patio build with absolutely no hiccups and remained in constant communication with me and his crew up to and through its completion. I had my wood patio cover replaced with an "Alumawood" insulated patio. I had my new patio enlarged, electrical outlets, recessed lights, and spot lights added, along with multiple fanlamps. Everything turned out beautiful! It was finished on schedule and with no hidden charges. His crew (Foreman Justin and Sam and others) were courteous and extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had total faith in the competent manner in which they completed this project. Would totally recommend them (J.H. Construction) if you need a patio and/or gutters installed. Great job, everyone! read more

Got a referral from a neighbor. Told me great things about this company. Gave Jeff a call, he was in the next day to give a quote. Price is very competitive and they will take care of permits and payment of permits and add into the total cost. Not something they need to do but it's really nice to have someone do that for you. The work was exceptional and we can't wait for the summer time to finally utilize our backyard. Who needs a living room! read more

Big shout out to Jeff and his crew. It is always appreciated when you request a quote and they come over in a timely manner, suggest ideas, and solutions to what you want done. From start to finish they were first of all organized, cleaned up after themselves, kept us in the loop, and asked us questions which was amazing. Lastly, we had a small issue with debris build up on our patio cover. Not only did Jeff respond very quickly but came out and cleared the debris and added an additonal down spout at no extra cost. Anyone that is reading this review this is the right company to go with if your looking for efficient service, excellent craftsmanship, and great communication. I can totally see why this company consistently gets high ratings. I needed my patio replaced. Jeff came to the house, and after discussing options and taking measurements he provided a very fair price quote on the spot. Even more pleasant surprise is that the patio got installed a week earlier than initially planned. Both the demo and installation teams were professional and did an amazing job. They cleaned up very well after the work was done. They communicated well of any issues that would come up and worked with me to find solutions. I would highly recommend this company. Jeff and his team provided great customer service! They did a nice job and were pretty fast. They are trustworthy and reliable.

Requested a quote for a patio cover via Yelp. Jeff made an appointment to come by for an estimate. Jeff came on time, did his measurements, and I chose the style and color of the patio cover that I wanted. The next day, Jeff emailed me a quote and contract. I signed the contract electronically and emailed the contract back to him. He said he will order the patio cover and that it would take 1 to 1 1/2 months for the patio cover to arrive. 1 1/2 months later, I received a call from Jeff who stated the patio cover has arrived and inquired if he can install it the same day. I said yes. The crew named Justin and Kenny came to install my patio cover. Nice guys. It took 6 hours to install. The patio cover looks awesome! read more

Were delightfully happy with the gutter and the patio , Jeff installed/ build. The colors blended well with the space around. The period of construction hit the target finish date, the pavers around the posts he removed was placed back without flaw. The gutters proved right away that the work was well done, because right after it was finished there was a heavy downpour. Nonoy my husband has to recall Jeff, because we thought part of the patio cover junction was leaking, Jeff came down right away and inspected his work . Nonoy found out that his work has no leak, we felt more satisfied then. Easy to deal with , reasonable costs, and a satisfying finished work are the reasons why Nonoy and I will recommend J&H Constructions ℅Jeff, to anybody! read more
