Talbots said they'd send me a prepaid shipping label, and that I couldn't go into a store to handle. About 5-6 weeks later I called again since I hadn't gotten a return label. They said it had been sent and to wait. Didn't receive it and tried going into a store, but they said they couldn't help. I called again much later, and they said the return label was sent to the person who gave me the gift, and that they could not do anything to resolve. She gave me a case # and escalated it for a call back, but Talbots didn't contact me. Terrible customer service, huge waste of time. I won't ever shop there again.

I did not expect a problem returning it to the store as the package was NOT marked as a second. The salesperson was very nice but had to call the owner to get her OK to take it back which I thought was odd. After much debate between the salesperson and owner, it turns out that the owner wanted to give me a store credit. I would have never purchased this if I had know there was a stain and had no interest in a store credit. Against the owner's wishes, the clerk gave me my money back but I do not plan on shopping here again.

This is a locally owned shop in charming downtown Hingham. It is well worth a visit…read more In the spirit of "shopping local" this holiday season in particular, a friend and I stopped in recently. They sell an array of very reasonably priced goods: clothes, outerwear, purses, totes, jewelry, knick-knacks. I think it would be pretty easy to find something pretty and fun for people on the average holiday shopping list. There are plenty of gift ideas for stocking stuffers too as well as items that might be nice as hostess gifts. I bought two "evil eye" necklaces here...one for me and one as a gift. The woman running the store was a sweetheart, chatting with us and offering help. They do gift wrapping here which is a plus. I plan to return next week to see if they have any additional items that might help me tick off a couple of more things on my holiday shopping list. It is definitely worth a visit. And if you haven't visited downtown Hingham, I think it's always a treat to do so.

Great variety, but nearly every shoe had two or three select sizes available. Prices are considerably higher in comparison to ANY other outlet (this really isn't an Outlet!).... I even think I could get a better deal at Kohl's or Famous Footwear. Also more size options at those aforementioned places. Staff seemed friendly and interested in helping customers find items or help them answer questions; however, this place just doesn't seem to fit in. If you are going to go somewhere to find a shoe that is precisely perfect for your foot that fits exactly properly you'll go somewhere such as Marathon Sports. If you are just looking for something general you'll visit the mall for a department store, or a place like Famous Footwear. This doesn't have a place in the shoe store landscape. Below average.... nothing exciting. I probably wouldn't come back in the future. Sort of disappointing. An outlet should be a place to score great deals and bargains.... not really here. 2 stars.
