Whenever I have stopped in, (which admittedly is not often), there is almost always someone who greets me fairly quickly and lets me know they are available to assist. On this latest visit I did have a question or two about a blazer I was looking at. The saleswoman was at the ready and was quite helpful. She let me know that even though the blazer was on sale already there was an additional 40% off. It was pricey to begin with but with both a sale price and the additional percentage off it became hard to resist...so I bought it. (I have been updating my seasonal blazer wardrobe over the past several months as I find blazers are often a great way to elevate an outfit and pull everything together.) I was also able to find a pretty gold belt. Alas, the belt was not on sale, and priced higher than I think it should have been but I think I will get a lot of use out of it so I purchased it. When I checked out the cashier was very helpful. She made sure to remind me that the blazer was now a "final sale" and I was in and out in no time flat. Pleasant and easy shopping.

Many folks were buying in bulk that fit into a gallon sized trash bag - no joke, the staff were giving them to customers purchasing more than ten boxes (for easy carrying). Worst experience ever with the cashier this afternoon. We've been customers of this store for years…read moreand have never been treated as carelessly as we were today. Don't get me wrong, the salesman was very helpful pulling sizes and giving great advice. The tailor was also knowledgeable and did a good and was friendly. Things however went quickly south when we got to the cashier to pay. To say that the young woman at the register was rude as an understatement. There was not only a lack of basic retail service skills, but the young woman's attitude was borderline hostile. Basic questions about the breakdown of the charges and any discounts we might be able to take advantage of were met with rolled eyes, huffing, and puffing...at one point she literally walked away and starting ringing up another customer! I've worked retail and know it's a tough job, but this is NOT who you behave with customers, especially when we were nothing but courteous. K&G, do better with vetting, hiring, and training your staff! This was absolutely ridiculous. I'm angry that I had to interact with this person and your company should be ashamed to employ someone like that.

The only thing that was a little awkward was one of the employees appeared to working in a shirt and bralette which I suppose they sell there, so it should be ok, right? Except for the fact that the shirt was hanging off her and she was essentially ringing us out wearing a bra. It did make me a little uncomfortable and my daughter as well. They sell underwear there, but I don't see anyone wandering around in boy shorts.
