I used to like this place when it first opened but not anymore. The food has really gone done hill and the service feels like they took people off the street who have never served before. I have gone back several times hoping that it will get better but it always disappoints. Last week I was there with a friend. The waitress kept complaining about the restaurant every time she would forget to do something for us, saying there is only 2 servers. My food was completely cold and when she took my food back to fix it, it came back microwaved. This place used to be full a lot, but not anymore. We've been to this place multiple times with no issues and the food is good. We decided to go for brunch this Saturday and there was a hair in my breakfast skillet. The guy I flagged down was so apologetic and said he was grabbing our waitress. She comes over and is beyond annoyed. I am so glad to add this review to the others which seem to be negative. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast today and our experience could not have been better. The service was superb! All the waitresses were helping each other out and hustling hard. My wife loved her patty melt and I just had a bagel but they toasted it exactly as I requested. Believe it or not, that's rare. The food was absolutely delicious. 2 of us got the Pork Belly Benny, 2 got the huevo avocado, and one child's chocolate chip pancake was ordered and not a single bite was left of anything. We thought we try J Christopher's today. Friday is our go out to breakfast day seeing how we both are home. The service was the best thing and it was spotty at best. My wife had the avocado skillet the only thing hot and fresh was the egg. The skillet was barley warm and the melted cheese already cool, the potatoes have been sitting in a warming tray for a while because half of them were too hard to eat. The English muffin was toasted at some point but was as cold as the butter we had to ask for. I had the pantry feast the only hot part of the meal was the chocolate chip pancakes. The potatoes, bacon and eggs were obviously pre-made and sitting in warming trays. The potatoes were hard l,dry a flavorless and the eggs had a rubbery texture. The bacon was cold. The plan was to try a new breakfast spot and we checked this one off the list and don't plan on returning. I just can't give them a one star because the server was a good guy and the coffee was hot. Had J. Christopher's for the first time today. We have lived in the area for almost 2 years and had no idea what we were missing. Upon arrival found the male server sitting at the bar on his phone looking uninterested. Upon seating I waited 5 minutes ( place was empty I was one of only two customers ) after the 6 minute mark I got up out of my seat to find the server, I was ready to order and get on with my day. Again the male sever was sitting at the bar on his phone. I asked him who was my server and he just got up and followed me back to my table. Food was decent and came out quickly. Portions were good and quality was on par with this type of restaurant. As far as pricing - a bit on the expensive side, $17 and change for one person.
