I like the food and the service is okay, but plan on waiting 15 minutes on the weekends when you clearly see 5-7 open (clean). After coming here for a couple months I finally asked the hostess why the wait when here are numerous open booths? She told me that they only have a limited number of menus to distribute as to not overwhelm the kitchen staff. Reflects negatively on management where this behavior is promoted, perhaps hire additional staff to accommodate the influx of guests? read more

We had a great breakfast served by the lovely Maddie! She is very kind, always had a smile, and very attentive! We had a great experience today and we appreciate it! read more

We went for breakfast. It was delicious and the service is spot on. I also loves the decor.

Ate breakfast there last week. Atmosphere was the best part of the experience. Very nicely decorated. I had the corned beef hash with eggs. The hash was canned, not great for 12 bucks. Other things looked decent, but the price is very expensive for breakfast. Probably wouldn't go back for breakfast if I was paying. Would go back if someone else was paying. read more

Not impressed. Potatoes in the skillet were awful, French toast was bland, eggs and bacon were okay, biscuit was dry and gravy was watery with hardly any sausage in it. It was our second time there. Will not go again for breakfast. read more

Great food and service. Ashley was an excellent server. Very welcomed addition to restaurants around Hamilton Mill.

This is actually my 2nd visit here for brunch. I decided on lunch both times but some of my family chose breakfast. Each time I have been underwhelmed by the food and service. My family eats out a lot and we always give a place a 2nd chance but J Christopher's has run its course. My family supports this decision also. read more

Great food, especially the breakfast skillets. Staff was professional and very attentive, and food was out quick. No complaints!

Food was less than fast food, frozen pre packaged potatoes. Eggs not cooked to order The English muffins in toasted. Corned beef hash from a can, sour orange juice. All for 34 dollars.... For two plates of modest food. What a joke... Save your money. New grill coming down the street. I'll bet they at least use FRESH ingredients. read more

Blueberry crunch pancakes are awesome. Great American breakfast place for the family.

Just okay. Overpriced breakfast food but with nothing else in the area except a WH its kind of the only option.

My boyfriend and I use to come here all the time and it was pretty decent. This last visit was terrible. The food was absolutely disgusting and over cooked. The water tasted like soap and the waitress didn't know we even existed and the resturants was empty! We won't be coming back anytime soon. Ew read more

The food was good but the restrooms were horrible, made me sick when I saw the bathrooms that I had eaten there. Looked like they had never been cleaned. They had 5 people working and on 3 tables of customers someone could clean the restrooms! Disgusting! read more

I do not do reviews often but this place was so bad it needs one! We only went because it was a new alternative to Waffle House or IHOP locally. What a mistake! Without trying to be sarcastic or exaggerate the food was really like eating at a hospital cafeteria. So evident the food is frozen, nothing tasted fresh. The scrambled eggs were really the only thing I ate and thought were decent. Even the bacon was not worth eating and the white grave was the worst gravy I have ever had. I am serious when I say my opinion is this being equivalent to hospital cafeteria food. read more

Nice quite place for breakfast. Gave me a whole pot of coffee!! Menu is amazing and they will customize for you!! Need to come back and maybe bring a good book or some friends! read more

What a horrible experience. Went on Father's day with my family. Waitress was nice enough but after waiting 50 minutes for our food I finally asked to speak to the manager. She came to our table and tried to be funny and needless to say it did not work April. When our food did come only part of it came and it was almost another 10 minutes before the rest of the food arrived. April never did check on us again and then the bill was for the full amount. Next time the family says breakfast I will not suggest J. Christopher's. read more

The food was pretty good, although not super hot when it came out. They were short staffed so it seemed a bit chaotic and tables weren't being bussed or served quickly. The staff was young and trying hard, so I give them an A for effort. The patio area could have been really cool but it was extremely dirty (trash on the ground, leaves, cobwebs, broken light fixture). Overall this place has potential but it just hasn't lived up to it yet. read more

Honestly, I wasn't really impressed. People I know have talked up J Christopher's for awhile now, but my experience wasn't anything special. The atmosphere is nice, but the prices are high. I feel like I could get the same quality of food from a Waffle House (obviously not the same atmosphere though). read more

Dropped by on a Saturday at 11 and waited 20 minutes. Had breakfast and really liked the granola blueberry pancakes and eggs and j c grits with bacon, cheese and jalapeños!! The coffee is really good too and the service was so impressive! Most definitely will go back! read more

I read the reviews and was shocked at some of them. My wife and I have breakfast at the restaurant on Braselton Dr in Dacula. I love the "Just Bubba" because of the biscuits and gravy. I am trying to watch my weight so I normally get the "Turkey sausage platter". The coffee is great and the ice tea is fantastic. We eat breakfast often, the food is good and the service is great. Very nice staff. read more

Have been frequenting this chain for years. I was one of the first to try out this location as I had recently moved to the Hamilton Mill area. After having issues with our food on each of our six visits, we no longer frequent this location. We discovered hair in our food once (the server gave us a few bucks credit but did not take the gingerbread waffle off of our ticket) and were served undercooked pancakes (batter oozing out the center) three times. My daughter waits all year for the seasonal gingerbread waffle. This year, we will go to another location. Very disappointed. read more

Had brunch there today. The BELT sandwich was pretty good but needed some kind of sauce. The side potatoes were fine but a little undercooked and a tad under seasoned. My husband had standard fare --- bacon and eggs -- which he said was ok, and my daughter liked her blueberry crunch pancake (I had a bite and it was delicious) and bacon and eggs. The main negative to our experience was that the restaurant looked unclean. When we sat down and I rested my forearms on the table to hold the menu, they came away sticky. There was syrup smeared on the table. I also noticed food on the floor around other tables. I had to request a wet napkin from our server to clean my arm. She was very sweet and apologetic. Service was good. read more

Great food, quick friendly service! Very surprised by the negative reviews on here! We got biscuits and gravy, Bacon, spinach and goat cheese omelette, and chocolate chip pancake. Everything was great. The standard coffee was good, and my wife got the turtle coffee which was fantastic (although very sweet). We are happy that this place opened here, and will definitely be going back! read more

What a disappointment. I hope management will see these reviews and give themselves a chance. Waited 25 minutes on Sunday morning (to be expected) then waited a bit for a server after being seated. Three of us ate breakfast -- 2 Lattes (giant mugs of vanilla flavored chocolate) for the kids (not good - overpriced $4 ea) and we each ordered "Traditional" Plate. We ordered over-medium eggs and the whites weren't cooked through. Big miss. Next I ordered a side of gravy -- save your money for Cracker Barrel -- they should lose the hunks of kielbasa? and use ground pork sausage like they should! The plate came with 2 eggs, grits (were good but bland) or Potatoes which were awful no flavor not hot, English muffin (or bisquit) and bacon. $40+ tip for eggs and bisquits -- no thanks. If you're going to charge 10+ for a breakfast plate, it should rock! read more

Amazing best food in town. Very clean and amazing for any meal. Employees are very welcoming and the wait is very short. I recommend this place to everybody:) read more

The food is always good. Our family is there every weekend and we've never had bad service. They have call ahead seating so we always try to take advantage of that especially on the weekends . read more

We stopped here on our way back from Atlanta and were pleased. For starters, had it not been for the Yelp app, we would not have found this place. It's off the main road and in the cut of a plaza. The hostess was friendly and our server was nice, but a little green. Really like the fact that offer alternatives like egg whites and non-pork/meat options. Their turkey sausage patties were seasoned well and tasty. The skillets and toast are good, but their famous blueberry crunch cakes were somewhat dry almost buckwheat-like. Definitely, had to douse with syrup and think a blueberry syrup would take this to the next level. There are a number of locations in the Atlanta Metro area and we plan to try to some others. Prices are moderate. read more

Good food, fast. Friendly servers. Nice comfy seats. Belgian waffles were fluffy, coffee was hot, and they even had zero calorie syrup. Would frequent for weekend brunch. read more

I am seriously surprised at all of the bad reviews! I ate here for the first time today. It's a great alternative to breakfast chains. I'm allergic to eggs, so I can't review them, but the pancakes are so good! They have a pretty good variety of breakfast plates, omelets, skillets, and sides. I love how bright and cheery the restaurant itself feels. Our waitress was fabulous! (I forgot her name) I will definitely eat here again! read more

Stopped by on Friday 7/11, 12:45 PM, not sure if i wanted breakfast or lunch- Very Quick Service. Decided on Breakfast- English Muffin close to being not toasted at all, small portion of potatoes were undercooked, Omelet, baby goat, was ok. Coffee was good. $2.49 for coffee and $9.79 for Omelet. Friendly staff, although several with dirty wait aprons was not appealing. I never dined at JChristophers, didn't know what to expect, but food quality has to be held bit higher standards- you could visibly see what was wrong with the food. read more

Fantastic service!! Our waitress was incredible walking us through the menu and suggestions. The food was just as amazing and prices were great! A million times upgrade to IHOP without the spike in prices! read more

Today was our 2nd visit in 3 months. I still love it. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is clean & bright and decorated very uniquely. The food is fantastic, the potions are generous & the prices are reasonable. (One note: the phone # listed on yelp is incorrect) read more

We enjoyed our Mother's Day brunch. Despite the wait, we had excellent service once seated. I've been here several times over the last couple of months and found food quality to be in consistent. My last time in I ordered a side of corn beef hash and it came out cold and large hunks were still in the shape of the container it was refrigerated in. I usually order eggs benedict and those too come out different every time i order them. Sometimes they have a splash of paprika across them, sometimes they don't. Sometimes my yolk is broken when it gets to me and sometimes it isn't. Very inconsistent. Service is usually pretty good as I sit at the bar. read more

My son (10yrs) and myself have fully enjoyed our first visit for breakfast and will be returning with his Papa soon. We are a breakfast family and enjoy a good omelet, corn beef hash, or eggs Benedict. Service was friendly and quick. Food was hot and more than we could finish!! Craft of coffee on the table!! Love that:) biscuits are excellent. Eggs were perfect. Place is bright and clean, and very colorful!! We Will be returning soon. Oh They are located really close to a very big church down the road, so Sunday mornings may be all about timing. Enjoy:) read more

The food is excellent. The whole staff was very friendly and they go out of there way to make sure you enjoy your visit. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to how hard it is leaving the parking lot. There really needs to be a light. But once inside it is 5 stars all the way! read more
