My boyfriend and I use to come here all the time and it was pretty decent. This last visit was terrible. The food was absolutely disgusting and over cooked. What a horrible experience. Went on Father's day with my family. Waitress was nice enough but after waiting 50 minutes for our food I finally asked to speak to the manager. She came to our table and tried to be funny and needless to say it did not work April. When our food did come only part of it came and it was almost another 10 minutes before the rest of the food arrived. April never did check on us again and then the bill was for the full amount. Next time the family says breakfast I will not suggest J. Christopher's. read more

The food was pretty good, although not super hot when it came out. They were short staffed so it seemed a bit chaotic and tables weren't being bussed or served quickly. The staff was young and trying hard, so I give them an A for effort. The patio area could have been really cool but it was extremely dirty (trash on the ground, leaves, cobwebs, broken light fixture). Dropped by on a Saturday at 11 and waited 20 minutes. Had breakfast and really liked the granola blueberry pancakes and eggs and j c grits with bacon, cheese and jalapeños!! The coffee is really good too and the service was so impressive! Most definitely will go back! read more

I read the reviews and was shocked at some of them. My wife and I have breakfast at the restaurant on Braselton Dr in Dacula. I love the "Just Bubba" because of the biscuits and gravy. I am trying to watch my weight so I normally get the "Turkey sausage platter". The coffee is great and the ice tea is fantastic. We eat breakfast often, the food is good and the service is great. The service is great from the manager all the way down to our waitress! But I'm having mixed feelings about the food we did arrive five minutes till 2:00 and they actually close at 2 o'clock. They were Very accommodating and the food was quick to come. I had the quesadilla with a side salad. Side salad was delicious the quesadilla was just OK. My husband had a hamburger with a Fried egg with a side of potatoes. We also ordered a waffle topped with strawberries and whipped cream which was delicious. Had brunch there today. The BELT sandwich was pretty good but needed some kind of sauce. The side potatoes were fine but a little undercooked and a tad under seasoned. My husband had standard fare --- bacon and eggs -- which he said was ok, and my daughter liked her blueberry crunch pancake (I had a bite and it was delicious) and bacon and eggs. The main negative to our experience was that the restaurant looked unclean. When we sat down and I rested my forearms on the table to hold the menu, they came away sticky. There was syrup smeared on the table. I also noticed food on the floor around other tables. I had to request a wet napkin from our server to clean my arm. She was very sweet and apologetic. Saw a road sign for this place as Bobby and I were going to grab some lunch and were immediately excited we now have one in our area!! It's in the same restaurant space as my beloved Ippolitos was just a few years ago. We walked in and were greeted by a whole team of smiling and friendly hostesses. They just opened two days ago but everything seemed to be running smoothly. The service was great we had the most attentive waitress she even let us know right after we ordered how long our food was going to take to be made and get out to us. I ordered the green tea, Irish Oatmeal (sans my fav Irish Mist for obvious reasons) they have their own take topping it with cinnamon, brown sugar and raisins instead which was delicious! I had a side of potatoes with mustard because I couldn't resist and they were cooked to perfection :). Bobby got the eggs Christopher which he wolfed down in record time I was however able to steal a quick bite of his bacon yum!!! I ended up eating way too much but it was so worth it. This is actually my 2nd visit here for brunch. I decided on lunch both times but some of my family chose breakfast. Each time I have been underwhelmed by the food and service. My family eats out a lot and we always give a place a 2nd chance but J Christopher's has run its course. My family supports this decision also. read more

Food was less than fast food, frozen pre packaged potatoes. Eggs not cooked to order The English muffins in toasted. Corned beef hash from a can, sour orange juice. All for 34 dollars.... I do not do reviews often but this place was so bad it needs one! We only went because it was a new alternative to Waffle House or IHOP locally. What a mistake! Without trying to be sarcastic or exaggerate the food was really like eating at a hospital cafeteria. So evident the food is frozen, nothing tasted fresh. The scrambled eggs were really the only thing I ate and thought were decent. Even the bacon was not worth eating and the white grave was the worst gravy I have ever had. I am serious when I say my opinion is this being equivalent to hospital cafeteria food. read more

Have been frequenting this chain for years. I was one of the first to try out this location as I had recently moved to the Hamilton Mill area. After having issues with our food on each of our six visits, we no longer frequent this location. We discovered hair in our food once (the server gave us a few bucks credit but did not take the gingerbread waffle off of our ticket) and were served undercooked pancakes (batter oozing out the center) three times. My daughter waits all year for the seasonal gingerbread waffle. This year, we will go to another location. Very disappointed. read more

Three of us ate breakfast -- 2 Lattes (giant mugs of vanilla flavored chocolate) for the kids (not good - overpriced $4 ea) and we each ordered "Traditional" Plate. We ordered over-medium eggs and the whites weren't cooked through. Big miss. Next I ordered a side of gravy -- save your money for Cracker Barrel -- they should lose the hunks of kielbasa? and use ground pork sausage like they should! The plate came with 2 eggs, grits (were good but bland) or Potatoes which were awful no flavor not hot, English muffin (or bisquit) and bacon. $40+ tip for eggs and bisquits -- no thanks. I've been here several times over the last couple of months and found food quality to be in consistent. My last time in I ordered a side of corn beef hash and it came out cold and large hunks were still in the shape of the container it was refrigerated in. I usually order eggs benedict and those too come out different every time i order them. Sometimes they have a splash of paprika across them, sometimes they don't. Sometimes my yolk is broken when it gets to me and sometimes it isn't. Very inconsistent. Service is usually pretty good as I sit at the bar. read more

We stopped here on our way back from Atlanta and were pleased. For starters, had it not been for the Yelp app, we would not have found this place. It's off the main road and in the cut of a plaza. The hostess was friendly and our server was nice, but a little green. Really like the fact that offer alternatives like egg whites and non-pork/meat options. Their turkey sausage patties were seasoned well and tasty. The skillets and toast are good, but their famous blueberry crunch cakes were somewhat dry almost buckwheat-like. Definitely, had to douse with syrup and think a blueberry syrup would take this to the next level. There are a number of locations in the Atlanta Metro area and we plan to try to some others. I'm allergic to eggs, so I can't review them, but the pancakes are so good! They have a pretty good variety of breakfast plates, omelets, skillets, and sides. I've eaten at 3 J.Christopher's locations - the one in Dunwoody, Brookhaven, and Buford. The food is always mediocre at best so I didn't have high expectations, but yesterday was particularly bad. First they were short-staffed in the kitchen and the food took forever to come out. I think this would be acceptable if they (waitress or manager) made customers aware of the problem that there would be a delay, but no one told us until we complained. Second, the food was awful. I ordered a salad and black bean soup - hard to mess up - but the lettuce leaves were black and slimy in both mine and my dad's salads. My sister and mom got sandwiches that were supposed to have honey mustard and there was nothing on them. I had to ask for a discount instead of one being offered. (What's happened to customer service?). The waitress was sweet and apologized profusely which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. All in all, we decided we would never come here again. read more

Decided on Breakfast- English Muffin close to being not toasted at all, small portion of potatoes were undercooked, Omelet, baby goat, was ok. Coffee was good. $2.49 for coffee and $9.79 for Omelet. Friendly staff, although several with dirty wait aprons was not appealing. I never dined at JChristophers, didn't know what to expect, but food quality has to be held bit higher standards- you could visibly see what was wrong with the food. read more
