First, Antonio the owner was VERY communicative. We spoke a lot about out bathroom tile and what was needed. I send him a lot of photos and he always texted or called. I hired Antonio based on our conversation and he immediately had us meet him at a tile store in Modesto. We had white ceramic tiles and grout that were from 1999 and this we upgraded to a slate style tile with dark grout that won't get nasty like white grout.**= We talked options and selected our tile. We received a quote and in the end the quote was just about spot on. He contacted me each day letting me know when the crew was coming. His crew (met 4 of them over the week) were all polite and professional. They do speak English as their second language but Antonio constantly communicates to make sure all is well. In the end we got the bathroom look we wanted at a reasonable price. Any comments about lack of communication are just not the case in my experience and there are always people who aren't good clients. Fortunately I saw the reviews after I hired him and while concerned, I soon realized I had a great guy to get the job done. We are very pleased and we are having him do our entire kitchen counters next. 5 stars for 2024! See before and after shots. Floor still is drying until Friday but you'll get the idea.

I was impressed with his quality of workmanship. He was very detail oriented at each step from the beauty and quality finish, the caulking, and the subtle ridges on the bottom of the tub to avoid slipping. I was also impressed with how smoothly the shower doors operated on the tracks after he re-installed them - better than before. Additionally, he showed me a couple of "insider tips" how to clean the grime buildup from the shower doors correctly so they looked almost new once reinstalled. I chose Americas Tub because of the solid reviews, and I had a very positive experience throughout the job. Alberto is a craftsman, cares about his work, educates the customer about what he is doing, and responds in a timely manner. I called numerous companies to help me out in my 60-year-old kitchen; had hard luck. No one was…read moreinterested and those we spoke to made the job seem overly excessive, like we would have to redo all of our tile and, perhaps, beyond to replacing cabinets. We looked for help for two years. Then I phoned VersaTILE. Over the phone I told Cody what we had and what we wanted and, BAM, he had an immediate solution that just sounded right to us. He came over, looked over our situation and offered a fix that we really liked. We had a 60-year-old cast iron kitchen sink that was embedded and surrounded in 60-year-old tile. The sink was a mess but the tile wasn't bad; it just needed re-grouting. Cody went right to work, cut the tile around the sink (the tile is planted on top of concrete), he got the sink out, refinished the cut areas with a very close matching tile and then dropped in a new cast iron sink. We had even purchased another sink prior to the one we used and Cody informed us that that sink wasn't good quality, which we could easily see from his voiced prospective and from his recommendation we were able to purchase a great sink from Kohler. Cody re-grouted our countertops and with the new cast iron sink and newly refinished tiles our kitchen looks and feels like a new kitchen. Just marvelous! Cody cleans up his work and he and his co-worker left us with almost no work for clean up afterwards. Just a little wiping down and we were in business. Cody has a plumber that he uses; BG's Plumbing, and they came out the following day. Brian (the owner) and his brother took out our old plumbing from underneath the sink, replaced the pipes, put in a new faucet, garbage disposal, and rerouted our water filter. He made a hard job look easy, but it was a tough job, believe me. BG's Plumbing was great! The work done by VersaTILE and BG's Plumbing was absolutely GREAT. We are so pleased. They leveled and perfectly set the new stone floors in our 1952 vintage house as well. There is not a seam or corner out of place.
