About 4 years ago Artistic Stone Works installed our kitchen countertop. Recently we noticed some separation and called them to see if they could help. They let us know it was out of warranty and then came out to look at our concern. Within days they sent out a couple of gentleman to fix the countertop. The fix was perfect and we couldn't be happier our kitchen countertops are beautiful. Artistic didn't charge us for the half day job and called us right afterwards to make sure all was ok. It was more than ok it was perfect. A lot of companies install kitchen countertops but if you want the best and a company that truly stands behind their work give Artistic Stone Works a call. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Artistic Stone Works. From the time we first walked into their shop and talked to Evan, until the finish of the project, we were impressed with how helpful, competent and flexible they are. Their bid was comparable to other countertop companies we consulted and we felt comfortable from the first that they were dealing honestly with us. Greg and Lisa were helpful in the shop giving us options and making suggestions about materials. They agreed to order our sink and helped us make decisions about accessories. Greg came out and measured and we were at once confident because he explained clearly our options in the four connecting rooms where we have countertop (kitchen, laundry room, bar from kitchen into family room and a sunroom we use as a dining room). Our contract was signed just days before the COVID 19 stay home order was issued. Artistic already had our quartz taking up space in their yard, but were willing to postpone until we were comfortable proceeding. Once we decided to get started almost two months later, they quickly worked us back into the schedule and it was just a matter of a few days for them to tear out the old ceramic tile, make the template, and get our counters installed. Okay, the work has been completed so this is my final entry. Regarding customer service, range of quality products and attention to detail I gotta give 5 Stars to ASW and its employees. Everyone was timely and took precautions to exercise safeguards (mask, etc) while maintaining high standards. They exceeded our expectations from the guys who came to demolish to the installers.....they were great. Even my dog, Ginger, liked them. ASW also referred me to Troy Bettenhausen Plumbing (TBP) who came and put the finishing touches on a job well done. First off, out of 10 Yelp requests this was the only company willing to help my husband and I cut our backsplashes down that came with our vanity from Lowe's. Unfortunately the vanity sits high so the backsplashes sitting at 4" would hit our light switches, we needed to take them down to 3" and also cut one for a side splash. It was a low cost job that they had no problem doing for us. I honestly thought for a second we wouldn't find anyone to help us so thanks guys! I have to say I feel very lucky to have chosen Artistic Stone Works for my Quartz countertop installation. I had a great experience from start to finish. Once I decided on a pattern it was ordered, the kitchen counter measurements were taken, the Quartz slabs were cut to size at their shop and then two highly experienced installer's brought the slabs to my home and installed them in a five hour window. The entire process took about two weeks from start to finish. I am very satisfied with the finished product. read more

All around excellent experience. Our cabinet maker recommended Artistic. Based on all the other 5 star reviews and the initial meeting I was planning to work with them, but did get two other quotes just to follow our self imposed 3 quote rules. One quote was eyebrow raising high, and the big box store was pretty close. Artistic has a great selection of material samples, as well as remnants for smaller projects. I picked a beautiful remnant for our laundry room. They also sell sinks and can install them (minus the plumbing). We did get our kitchen slabs from a different store (as I found a really good deal) and had them shipped to Artistic for fabrication which was very easy to facilitate with the guidance of Lisa. She was a pleasure to work with, helped keep our budget, and even kindly helped to occupy my toddler when we were going over paperwork. Greg and Evan had great suggestions for making our ideas a reality, and worked with my evolving design plan. The attention to detail was wonderful, like, where to place seams to be least noticeable. The turnaround from templating to install was very quick and Evan kept us looped in on progress. Our installation team had to come twice due to the design of our countertop and cabinets and they were also amazing. Arturo is very knowledgeable, skilled (had to put a bazillion shims on one long stretch of counter and you'd never know, and the seams are almost invisible) and tidy. Some of our other contractors left messes, but this crew cleaned up everything when they left. We are so happy. Everything is beautiful. I'm looking around our home to see what other things need new countertop now! I will post photos once our cabinets are finished. read more

Artistic Stone Works did so many things right on our kitchen countertops and this could have, and should have been a 5 star review. The guy who came out to take the digital measurements (who I think was the owner), did a fine job because the end result of our install was excellent. He knew what he was doing, however, he wasn't particularly personable or friendly. There's nothing more awkward than a stranger coming into your home who seems like he doesn't like his job and doesn't really want to be there. We got our quote a few days later which was a reasonable time frame and my interaction on the phone with the lady at their office was great. (She may have been the other owner if I recall correctly.) She was so pleasant, super friendly, and super professional! We agreed to move forward. Our installation unfortunately got pushed back more than a week beyond what was originally promised which meant dealing with a kitchen without a sink longer than we thought. No reason was offered for this inconvenience. The two installers showed up on installation day on time and the care and attention to detail was outstanding. The lead installer was especially personable and professional. Everything he did that day reflected extreme dedication to his craft, a high degree of pride in his work, and a sincere wish that we be satisfied with the end result of his efforts. I hate that I forget his name for this review, but he absolutely gets 5 stars! You can't have a great result without a fabricator that knows and cares about what he's doing. The fabricator who did our quartzite counters did a stellar job with the flow of the surface patterns flowing nicely from our backsplashes and bull nose edges. 5 stars for him too! Artistic Stone Work's pricing was on par with other companies, but when you spend 25k on kitchen counters, you'd think that there would have a post-installation follow up to ask if we were satisfied. Sadly, there was not. Heck, it took them 5 months to send us a review request. Really, really odd?? All in all, the end result was the most important thing for us. Artistic does do quality work and they will for you too if you don't mind a less than smooth experience and having a competent, but somewhat unfriendly owner come into your home for the measurements. read more

They are extremely busy, for a reason, yet still manage to give 1 on 1 service beyond perfection, making us feel like their ONLY client. I couldn't decide on outside countertops and out of the blue, Lisa shared photos to ensure my first choice would be ok with a few changes in paint color. Who does that?!? I am quite picky and so glad we chose Artistic Stoneworks in Lodi even though we live in the Sacramento area and they were the lowest bidder. After much research on the best ways to replace tile with quartzite, we threw a lot of questions at potential installers and visited showrooms to see their workmanship. Evan, who works for Greg the owner, answered every question promptly and correctly. What cinched it for us was the reply about kitchen sink installation. He assured us that they used a method so the workstation sink could be replaced if ever needed (not the answer we got from others). We even were allowed to look at the layout before the slabs were actually cut. They removed the old countertops but didn't hurt our existing beautiful wood floor or cabinets. The day the stone was installed, the job supervisor confessed he'd left another installer because Greg cares as much about doing a good job and his customers as making a profit. We are so thankful we chose Artistic for our kitchen remodel. We first visited the showroom and loved one of their samples but we made the mistake of going with a different company purely over price. This was a mistake. Never go with the lowest bid. We realized our mistake and went back to Lisa to explain our predicament. We were without countertops and in desperate need. Artistic came through and got us confirmed so quick. She even confirmed our material was in stock before we even confirmed our order. Our slabs were in their yard, less than 24 hours later. I have a old sink and couldn't find a replacement to fit in the cutout in my granite so I thought I would have to replace the granite . But when Craig came out to look at it he said he knew a sink that would fit. Yeah! So we're in the process of getting it done. They did a beautiful job fabricating and installing our leathered granite. They needed to match an OGEE, edge which is very out of style, and they did so beautifully. Everybody we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and really nice. And all of the work was done in an exceedingly timely manner. We found out about Artistic by accident. I was hoping to be able to recycle the old granite from our counter and saw a truck at Taco Bell iwth "Recycled Granite" on it and a phone number. The number turned out to be Artistic's. We were originally going to go with Home Depot, but when I called, Stefanie convinced us to give Artictistic a go. Owner Greg came in on a Saturday to show us their various slabs in the rain. Their tear-out cost was a third of Home Depot's and the price very competitive. The crew Chris, Juan and a guy whom I'm sorry I can't remember his name, came in, did their work quietly (as quietly as a tear-out can be) and efficiently. They also gave us advice on care and feeding of our new counter. With some of the leftovers, they had made a matching top for a bookcase we have at the end of the counter. The seams are nearly invisible. Once the decisions were made, everything went quickly. They came in twice, once for the tear-out and once for the install.
