Ernie answered right away and was able to come the same week. He initially expressed doubt because our tub is acrylic (not fiberglass) but I sent him pictures and he felt it was doable. Ernie, the owner, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. My tub had been a poorly done DIY project by a previous owner--bubbling, chipped paint, and honestly an eyesore that kept me from taking baths. Ernie transformed it completely. It looks brand new now, and the quality of his work is outstanding. Highly recommend!

I was impressed with his quality of workmanship. He was very detail oriented at each step from the beauty and quality finish, the caulking, and the subtle ridges on the bottom of the tub to avoid slipping. I was also impressed with how smoothly the shower doors operated on the tracks after he re-installed them - better than before. Additionally, he showed me a couple of "insider tips" how to clean the grime buildup from the shower doors correctly so they looked almost new once reinstalled. I chose Americas Tub because of the solid reviews, and I had a very positive experience throughout the job. Alberto is a craftsman, cares about his work, educates the customer about what he is doing, and responds in a timely manner. I now have a new tub without having to go through a demolition and major bathroom remodel. It was so worth it! I highly recommend America's Tub! Thank you, Alberto! I will continue giving my home projects to businesses like this who do top quality work while being fair, transparent, and service oriented.

I am submitting this review with mixed feelings. Initially, the work they did on my two…read morebathtubs/showers was nice. However, later on small flaws and some overspray and bubbling appeared. So I called them out because you have a 5 year guarantee. Now each and every time they were called out, it never showed that it was anything I did, but it showed to be the fault of the product and they fixed. However, this last time I called on some flaws that showed. the rep was starting to say there might be a service charge and started to change their tune. This is a 5 year guarantee and never has it showed that it was any fault of mine in fact I keep good care of both tubs and showers. So if you have a 5 year guarantee, you should honor that. It is not the number of times they have to fix something, but the fact that it is a 5 year guarantee and should fix any flaws that are a result of their product. The rep had stated -we have been out there several times. Well, I am sorry but that is not my fault and if you have to come out several times to fix that, then you should honor the guarantee. You could look at that from the other perspective of the consumer and say of that was a car it would qualify under the lemon law. The technician came out and fixed a few spots and it was admitted that the last technician oversprayed. The technician stated -well it is not going to be perfect. That is kind of like saying -Your going to get your car repainted but it is not going to be perfect-so there may be marks and chips. Live with it. However, one of the spots was not fixed, so I called back the technician and he ignored my calls and then called Miracle Method and they also ignored the calls. I work in healthcare and after the year we just had, I do not have the time to continue to try to call them back and schedule and continue to have calls ignored. They are starting to act as if I enjoy having to make appointments and wait for fixes. I do not enjoy that and quite frankly wish I did not have to do that. The point remains, if it is your product and you guarantee, then it should be fixed. Now, understand that I do not think they do bad work and I do not think they are a bad company or have bad technicians, I just think that sometimes the product shows some flaws and a person should not be ignored and brushed off because they have called your company out to fix issues under warranty.

We experienced some needed changes during the refinishing of our entire house. Certain areas that are too stained to match everything (requiring replacing those boards or choosing a darker stain if you prefer), we believed we had hardwood flooring under the kitchen laminate and it turns out we did not. Each step of the way, Ruben would calmly lay out our options, and quickly show us the cost of each option. It was a very large project. They replaced all of our base boards and door trims throughout the house as well as refinishing floors throughout the entire house. We stayed in a hotel during the work and Ruben gave consistent updates so that we had a good guess of which day we move back into the house and plan accordingly for that. I would describe Ruben's approach as "high-touch". Answers questions via text, always happy to stop by just to drop off samples of colors or materials. I really appreciated this. This is a licensed and insured local business with a stellar reputation which is why we went with them. I'm so happy we did. If you're thinking about any home project that fall into this domain, I highly suggest you connect with Ruben so that he can help make recommendations and give you insight into variables and logistics.
