Edit: A couple of weeks ago, we noticed a small bubble had appeared, cracked, and a chip came out from the sink we had repaired by ReNew Refinishing. I contacted Alex on Friday 3/27 and he stated there was no warranty in effect, which I knew was likely. However, he said he would take care of us. He came out this morning, Monday 3/30, and repaired the bubble area, and even a blemish we caused. He did not charge us anything for the repair, even though he spent quite a bit of time on it. It is a rarity in this day and age when a service provider far exceeds your expectations. Most companies are looking for any reason to tell you it is not their problem. Not ReNew Refinishing. They take care of their customers even when it is not their responsibility. An amazing company!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had a 40 year old sink, very deep sink, in a laundry room that was in need of refinishing, not to mention a new faucet. The sink was a drop in sink in a tiled countertop. Serge arrived this morning, on time, and was very friendly and professional. I had attempted to turn off the angle stops, but the hot water valve seemed frozen. The handle wouldn't easily turn and I was afraid to put too much pressure on it for fear of creating and even bigger problem. So, I turned the water off, in order to remove the supply hoses to the faucet and remove the faucet. In discussing this with Serge, he stated that sometimes applying a little force will break the 'seal' and allow the valve to be closed. At that point, I felt I was probably going to have to call a plumber to replace the valve, so I had nothing to lose. He broke it free and the valve seated properly with no leaking. In my view, Serge saved me a tremendous amount of hassle, not to mention a lot of money. Now, as to the refinishing job done on our sink this picture says it all! The variations of 'color' in the picture are due to lighting and shadows resulting from the lighting. The sink is totally bright white! He did a fabulous job and we are extremely pleased with the result! ReNew's price was quite a bit lower than the other quote I received. I can, without reservation, highly recommend ReNew for any refinishing needs you might have. First class service! Deep laundry room sink read more

Bath Fitter came to my home and assessed the walk in shower project. It took the installer, Branden Kline, only a day and a half to remove my bathtub and install a walk in shower. Branden assessed my personal needs and disability then custom designed the shower to fit my needs. Bath Fitter then helped me with the documentation the VA requested to reimburse me for partial payment of the renovation. It was time to spruce up our rental for new tenants, and we realized the fiberglass shower and tub/shower combo were showing their age. They were spotted and discolored. We researched refinishing services and settled on ReNew Refinishing. We are so pleased we did. Serge is an easy-going, highly skilled contractor. He is also a perfectionist. He doesn't stop until everything is exactly right. Where he could, he polished the fixtures so we didn't have to buy new ones. He also gave us tips on how to clean and protect the new finish going forward. Serge even agreed to reinstall the plumbing, saving us a lot of headaches. The whole experience was excellent, and the price was right. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Serge again. read more

Contacted ReNew Refinishing about my hard water stained shower basin that we had from the time we moved in and we set up a time & date for him to come and refinish it. He was very accomodating with my schedule which was a HUGE plus! He came out promptly at our designated time & date and made a very ugly Shower Pan look BRAND NEW again! Huge props to Sergei for doing the work he does and at an affordable price! I had a few Refinishers and "Professional Cleaners" come out and all of them basically said they couldn't do the job. Sergei DID! He takes Venmo payments too! read more

I hired Serge to refinish my old tub (1961), and he did a great job. Looks new now, and he also buffed up the drain and faucet so that those looked new, too. I was thinking I was going to have to replace them, but they just had hard water on them that needed buffing out. Serge's communication was good, his work was good, and I fully recommend him. read more

Serge damaged my bathtub permanently with an paint job thet didn't cure properly. He then blew me off repeatedly when I asked him to come back to fix it, and then accused me of having done something to ruin it. I'm out over $500 and haven't been able to pin him down to fix it or give me my money back. He has a listing on Fixr.com and it's all false advertisement. He also advertises on Craigslist. read more

ReNew Refinishing - Paint never cured and rubbed off in some areas and chipped off in other areas within weeks. - Refinishing Services Near Me

Horrible to work with. Uses low quality paint and dosent quareente his work . All the other refinishing companies quareente it for 5 years. His work peeled off with frog tape then when I asked him to fix it he tried to charge me 150.00 to do so. That's laughable... that paint wast 3 weeks old and it clearly came off due to inadequate preparation of the tile prior to him spraying the product. What a horrible experience to try to work around his shotty work and endless mood swings .. So happy its over. I hired another company to repaint where he didn't mask out glass tile and painted it white as well . Even though I had to pay again it was a much less painful experience. Beware he calls his company renew however there's a second company with same name spelled (re nu ) and thats the company to go with he was fabulous and super professional however Surg at renew is not! Don't confuse the 2 companies there's a big difference in quality - warrenty ( 5 ) years with Re Nu . Not with this company (renew) . Do your home work and go with someone licensed.. Renew is not licensed charges the same if not more than the companies that are like Re Nu and miracle method and both guarantee thier work for 5 years. Which means if it peels off with frog tape 3 weeks later they don't try and get an extra 150 out of you to fix it... Unbelievable ! read more

Excellent work done! Serge just finished refinishing a walk-in shower for me. I sent photos of the shower. He gave me a quote and was able to start two days later. In four hours, the shower looks better than new. I can highly recommend Serge. He went above and beyond by taking off the shower doors, and then replacing them afterwards. He caulked them afterwards. He ventilated well so that there is a mild odor now, but that is to be expected due to the product. He let me know that I could stay while he worked, but I left to finish up a few chores I had to do. He contacted me when he was done. He was professional, friendly, and careful from beginning to end. read more

I only write reviews when the service I receive is either really fantastic or really terrible. I am happy to say that this is one of those FANTASTIC reviews! I am a Realtor and I was selling my personal residence. In fixing the place up I needed to either refinish or replace my porcelain double kitchen sink. It and my stove had gotten gouged and scratched and looked terrible. I had my doubts about refinishing it as I have seen some pretty marginal jobs in the many homes that I tour but based on reviews here, I hired Serge from ReNew Refinishing to come over and give it his best shot. I am amazed! After curing, the sink and range looks brand new! The job was done quickly, professionally and the end result is a very, very beautiful sink and clean range. The whole transaction from the quote, arranging the appointment, the quality work, emailed receipt and the very reasonable cost was so easy and professional that I will be recommending Serge and ReNew to all of my clients in need of sink or bathtub refinishing and he is now permanently on my recommended vendor list. I highly recommend Serge and ReNew Refinishing. read more

I had a rental home with a short turnaround time and called ReNew as my normal guy let me down for a tub that needed some TLC. I am so glad I did as Serge answered the phone at approx 2pm and was working on my tub by 5:30pm that same day! He was incredibly professional spending extra time to prep the tub, seal off the surrounding area, setup his extractor fan then work diligently on the tub until almost 9pm taking no shortcuts as I observed him sanding then using primer which is key before multiple finish coats. It now looks like new! I enjoyed chatting with him and felt bad he was missing an evening with his family to work on my tub but he insisted on finishing and to the highest quality I have seen to date and trust me I have seen too many tub & shower refinishes! I have no hesitation in highly recommending Serge and will be using him from now on as he is awesome. read more

This guy now gets a zero star review. After 5 months and 2 attempts to do a good job the tub and sink keep peeling the paint he used on them. One month ago he said he would refund my money and his promises are worse than the work he does. We can't imagine better results than the beautiful finish on three tubs and three bahroom sinks that Serge did for us. They all look NEW -- and a couple were looking pretty shabby when he started. And it was a fraction of the cost of replacing them. His prices are always fair, and he goes the extra mile, if need be, but never demands more than his estimate, even if he has to spend a couple of extra hours, as he did the other day on some bizarre finish the previous owner had dreamed up. Bottom line: He comes on time, does excellent work with no bellyaching, produces sparkling results, and the price is right. You should certainly try him out. We were lucky to have found him. read more
