Very professional and HONEST. I thought I was feeling flexing in our acrylic tub-I do tend to worry and like to get ahead of repairs before they get bad. I made a mistake and had a contractor look at it first and he was saying we needed a full bathroom remodel. $15-$20k. No way we can do that now, so I wanted a second opinion. I reached out on yelp, and they were very communicative and flexible, and looked at my tub for free. He also put booties on his shoes---little things matter. He acknowledged what I was talking about, but said it was normal and not true "flexing," which would be much more pronounced. He says we shouldn't need to replace it for a long time. Better think twivce before hiring these guys. they made an appointment for 12:00 then said they were on their way at 8:30 a.m. then I asked for their license and insurance and they could not provide it, the guy was worried about being sued, which I could do anyway or why would I if they did a great job? So he cancelled my appointment! i had arranged the entire day and lined up dog sitting and they cancelled on me! Selfish! They are not professional. They are shady and are apparently irresponsible. Before we chose The Refinishing Pros we looked into at least 3 other companies that do this type of work. Johnny was easy to get a hold of and communicates what to expect well. His fees are competitive and worth every penny for the skill and care he provides. He is also a nice guy. What made us feel more comfortable choosing The Refinishing Pros is that he seemed the most concerned about his customers smelling as little of the refinishing product as possible. These refinishing products can be an overwhelming smell so anything to cut down the intensity and/or length of time the smell is in the house is a huge bonus. He has this big machine to draw as much of the smell of the refinishing product out of the house as possible. Once he connects that machine it really helps to draw out the smell and it starts to dissipate. He refinished our bathtub and shower pan and fixed a horrible caulking job from before above the bathtub. The shower pan and tub now look terrific! Johnny provided such outstanding service that we started looking around the house for other areas he can do in the future. He told exactly what to expect for each job so you can plan accordingly. Another thing that sets his company apart from your typical refinishing company is that he has a plethora of colors to choose from for tile coatings and the options are really beautiful. There is much more room for creativity with the color options he has than any other refinishing company we have connected with.
