The owner asked me to remove my review claiming it was based on "falsities" and I said it was my honest experience with the refinish. He then said "ok, if you don't want to be honest." It felt very bullyish and unprofessional to get a response such as that. He also never mentioned there would be a "service fee" to repair it but rather said I would have to refinish the whole sink at the same original cost. My point is why would I pay again to refinish something that won't last? I'm including pictures of the rubber mats I used and despite using them, you can see where it peels up by the drain. Great craftsmanship with the chips and cracks, spraying and edge sealing. Very great pricing and the 5 year warranty on the bathroom sink cannot be beat! No warranty on the kitchen for obvious, heavy duty usage reasons. But my new silicone sink mat should help that. Just be aware that you immediately have good ventilation as I'm sure the fumes are not healthy. So we stayed upstairs for the rest of the day. Contacted Roberto based on the reviews here. Roberto and his brother showed up around 8:30am. They refinished the shower, tub and 2 sinks. It took them about 4hrs. They only do white. The reason I mention is that 1 sink and had a crack, no leak, but it was almond. I had to get both sinks done so they would match. I believe there is a 5 year warranty on the work. The Rabbit was prompt and efficient in every way. I received a very competitive quote for refinishing an old porcelain bathtub and 2 cultured marble sinks very soon after I requested one via Yelp. They were the only refinishing company who was willing to remove my old fixtures prior to surface prep and coating. The was a reasonable extra charge, but it was worth it. They made an appointment for just a few days out. On the day of service, they arrived on time. They carefully masked adjacent surfaces and then prepared the tub and sinks for refinishing. While working with the chemicals, they thoroughly vented the house, which minimized the fumes. They worked on both of our bathrooms on the same day, so I decided it was worth spending one night in a local hotel to avoid the inconvenience. I think that it would be OK for most people to sleep at home, except for people with young children and pregnant women. Roberto did a great job, and left the house clean and tidy. Good communication prior to appointing which is so helpful. Day of appointment, team arrived 1 hour behind schedule which was fine because I had flexibility but do appreciate timeliness . Did need to request team to keep mask on - considering myself and others in the place kept mask on, it wouldn't been above and behind to see the team have same consideration of being extra cautious! We had rabbit refinishing do our tub. Soon after we noticed chips in the finish. We took every precaution but the chips continue. Update: 7/1/22: We were dissatisfied with the result and posted to yelp. After we posted a review Roberto (the owner) reached out to us to see if he could fix the issues. There is a warranty as well which we weren't aware of (maybe was a bad day for the original employee who did the job). We agreed and he came out to support his work. Customer Service - 5 stars. You can't ask for someone to do more than stand behind their work and make it right.
