I saw a lot of old chairs hanging in the ceiling, which I thought were acting as decoration. The owner/carpenter/artist/craftsman (that also looks like an actor in my opinion) told me that the chairs were in repair after some fires have destroyed so much furniture of a client and he was actually repairing them to their original state. I saw all the tools, the space, some pieces being repaired and the work of love. I have nothing to repair (after all I am an Ikea girl), but surely this shop is worth a visit even as a 'museum' of manual woodshop work.

Aby did such a great job the first time, we didn't hesitate for her to do it again. I sent her a few inspiration pictures, and when I went to pick out fabric, she already had narrowed down the samples for us, which streamlined the selection process. A few weeks later Aby let us know our bench was ready. It was exactly what I wanted, and the fabric had the perfect texture and color.
