Came into Ivys Nails the other day after I got off work & just wanted to relax after my shift . I love coming here because they are so quick but they do such an amazing job. I only got a manicure & pedicure with just normal polish not gel polish and my toes & nails came out stunning it looked like I got gel done but really it's just normal polish. I felt so relaxed while getting my toes done with the hot towels on my legs and the hot wax afterwards. I didn't have to worry if they were filing my nails too short because everything was perfect length. They have such a wide variety of nail polish I didn't know where to begin. I also enjoy getting my lips waxed & my underarms here. Lee does such an amazing job. I also notice they have SNS nail as well I will definitely have to try that next time I come back. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience at this "establishment". - went in for a fill.... I wanted dip powder again. She started putting gel on... ok whatever, I'll roll with it.... -Left.. shortly after, the gel started peeling off and smearing everywhere. Gross and embarrassing. -Went back the next day to have her fix them. She told me she'd use a better gel polish this time. (why didn't you use that product initially ). -By the end of the day, this "better gel" started peeling too. My nails were trash. I ended up going to the salon across the street near Plant Fitness... I highly recommend them. They removed my nails and gave me the cutest dip manicure. I'd probably avoid Ivy's if I were you. Wasting money sucks, but that was so much time I wasted with them. I was in a rush to get to a meeting and they were able to take me right away. The place was clean and the ladies working there seemed nice. Went here for a manicure and pedicure w my girlfriend for her birthday. They helped us right away and had us seated in the foot spa fairly quickly (pretty sure that's the correct way to say it) I had a woman named Helen working on my feet and she did a great job with the file considering it was my first time and I didn't know that to expect but It was super relaxing! Manicure went well too they cleaned my hands up and were super friendly about it and even joked around a bit. Didn't get my nails polished or anything like that but my girls nails looked were taken care of. No cuts or anything like that which is a big deal to her. All around good time usually don't write reviews but have had such a good time here had to show some love! I recommend Helen she was great and my girlfriend recommends Lee. Both did a great job taking care of us both. read more

I had heard this place was great. Very disappointed. Worst nail job and I walked out paying 75 dollars for a friend and I to get basic nails. The woman who did our nails charged my friend 35 for French manicure acrylics. She charged me 35 for a rounded short nail, all painted a solid rose color. There was no prep done to the nails before she applied the gel nails on top. We both had overgrown cuticles, but excepted, like every place we have been to, to have our natural nails filed and cleaned up. For 35 dollars, I would expect it. The polish was poorly done and even being just finished, the fake nail Sat very far from my cuticle, making it look outgrown. She put the fake nails on, no color yet, and told us the price of both ($70) and told us she needed the payment then and there or she wouldn't finish them. The menu, Fyi, said both the kinds of nails we got start at 22. I don't understand how she determined the prices they were, as we didn't get anything fancy or out of the norm. THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! I went to go get a fill in and pedicure and I am currently dealing with a swollen big toe due to the nail tech digging around my big toe nail to deep!!!!! When I first left my toe was fine until the next morning I woke up to a big toe swollen!!! I get my toes and nails done regularly but I just so happen to go to this shop because I was on that side of town but there was no need for her to dig into my toe this way!!! I went because I was looking for a place at 6:30 to do my nails and nothing else was open . The man , first of all, was very rude. He keep shoving the filer against my nails and my nails ended up bleeding . I wanted to cry it hurt so bad. He knew he was hurting me because I was yanking my hand back every time he touched me !
