I went to Luxury Nails because I was in need of a pedicure before going to attend a funeral service. I called and they told me to come on in. I got there and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. No problem. I get started. Water is super hot- Great. I choose my deluxe pedicure $37. He talked me into adding the Volcano spa- $10. I chose tropical citrus. Smelled just like home (Hawaii). Flowers and pineapples. The tech kept poking and cutting my toe cuticles. I had to say it hurt a few times. Then I just bared it. This is part of why I gave them 2 stars. The other price is the additional charge that they couldn't explain. My total was $80. Where did the additional charge come from. I didn't get anything extra done. $47 to $80. If you go there, just be clear to ask what they're charging you for. I won't be going back. read more

I don't leave a lot of reviews but I went here today and have not been able to stop looking at my nails since! I haven't gotten my nails done in a whiiiile but because of a coworkers recommendation decided to check out Luxury Nails. I was immediately greeted by Mimi when I walked in the door and she was able to start working on my nails. I got ombré pink and white nails with dip powder. They look AMAZING! Not only that, but the price was way less than I expected. I will definitely be back and plan on getting a pedicure next time as well. PS - Excuse my photography skills. Also, the salon has protective shields for at the nail tables as well as shields to protect folks getting pedicures. I have been coming here every time I come in town to visit since June. No one in the world makes my natural nails grow strong and healthy as Mimi. I always get dip powder and they last over a month, easily. She's always soooo busy but if you call ahead and set an appointment, it makes it much easier for you and the nail techs here. Clean, cute, cozy & chic. If they are too busy when you come don't get upset just simply ask when is the next opening & be patient, it's worth it. I called so I could schedule an appointment for my daughter and myself before Mother's Day, so the number was in my call log. I accidentally touched the number later that night as I was trying to call someone else, and my phone dialer shortcut is to call the number that is pressed. I hung up once I realized I selected the wrong number. The number called back, but I ignored it because it was an accidental dial. It was late when I called, but that's the business number listed, so I thought the phone would just ring in the nail salon and that would be it. That was not the case, apparently. Either the owner keeps calling my phone all times of night and morning or it's someone else, but it's unprofessional regardless. They have lost a customer after calling my phone at 4:50 am. Thankfully I have a call blocker, so my phone didn't even ring, but this was the last straw. Note to owner: BE MORE PROFESSIONAL AND IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, HANDLE IT THERE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE REPEATED CALLS TELL ME: Someone is trying to catch a cheater. Was so surprised to not see this fantastic small nail shop on yelp! It's family-ran so it's small but because of that they can really focus on the quality of their service! I get gel here and haven't found a better place in town in terms of quality and service. Pedicures are great here and they massage your legs and give you wine/soda/water! Very good for a girl's night out or a quick mother and daughter day. They also do waxing here so it's really a all-in one shop! Walk-ins are welcome but sometimes they are busy so it's good to call ahead! read more

I was in Jacksonville this week for a business trip. I had some time to kill while my vehicle was being washed and detailed at the shop that is located right next to Luxury Nails. I had a deluxe pedicure as well as a full set of pink and white done. Both women who worked on my nails did a superb job, and both had great personalities. If I didn't live over 4 hours away, this would be my nail spot. It was a great experience. If I'm ever in town again I'll definitely return. read more

Not impressed at all. They should really think about changing the name of their shop... The entire time I was skeptical and I was so right. My nails are too thick, gel polish was left on my skin, i was cut a few times and their pedicure chairs are old. They should really step it up. read more

What an amazing experience I had here! My nail tech was MiMi and she did such a great job on my nails and freehanded a really cool design too! Then she recommended the pedicure which I did, and I cannot believe how much you get for the Deluxe, I was blown away. This place lives up to the name! I've been going here for 2 years I've noticed that they rarely clean the pedicure area between clients, not dp they sanitize their tools for manicures and pedicures, my friend whose gotten a wax here told me that they double dipped. And twice I've gone there, their water was cut off I could only assume they didn't wash their hands after each use. Today my mother was overcharged by $35, and I was yelled at by the nail technician. I told her I did not like the color of my gel polish and if she could remove it with the drill? She removed polish off of one nail then told me the drill doesn't work on the other ones, after I asked her why she tells me "honestly its because I want to go home that's why the drill doesn't work" hmm okay read more

DISRESPECTFUL AND EXTREMELY RUDE. Let me start with saying that the manicurist/receptionist has the worst customer service skills that I have seen in my life. She is rude, she would yell at you and treat you like you are a 5 year old if you ask or complain about anything. This is second time that I go there and they take anyone that walks in before me, even though I had an appointment both times. This place gets two stars because the pedicure was good. I paid almost 60 dollars for a Mani pedi and the polish on both didn't even last an entire day. Its beyond a rip off and the lady that did both of mine was rude as hell. They just want your money here. Poor quality and customer service. read more

Only reason I'm giving one star is bc pedicure was decent, nails were the worse I've ever had done, sloppy, not even, an had polish still on from previous nails, was charged 45 dollars for a crappy job! Took forever! An place was not clean... as i sat there getting nails done an was not able to do anything bc she was doing one finger on a hand at a time switching hands with each finger, so i was looking around realizing this place is gross! told them how unhappy i was they refused refund, had to go to another salon an have completely redo, so 45 bucks waste bc i had to turn around an spend another 40 at other place.. to fix.
