Love this spot in Virginia Square area! My housemate and I regularly come. The ladies who run the place are delightful and so wonderful (shoutout to Lyly and Tee Tee), and they always do an excellent job! I've gotten both manicure (dip) and pedicure here, and I've always been pleased. Additionally, they accept walk-ins, but if you want to guarantee a spot during the time you want, then just call in ahead of time! THey're super amazing to work with and definitely have my service :) Thank you!! read more

Beautiful light and airy space! Brand new pedicure chairs that are very comfortable! The products all smell amazing. The salon does not have the normal acetone smell you have in other salons. It smells fresh and has a very enjoyable atmosphere! The services are all clearly stated and priced on a large sign as soon as you walk in so you know immediately what you get and how much all services cost. Now to the staff: New owner, new management and a small handful of amazing nail technicians. Very friendly and professional and they do an amazing job. I've been twice now and this will be my new spot! They have delicious beverages! Over 500 colors to choose from! Nice relaxing music! Very clean! Very comfortable! there's a parking garage behind the building, took a minute to find but they will validate so that's a plus. Overall impression - it's fine but wouldn't come back. I came in at 5 on a Thursday, & there were three techs, two servicing each other and one attending another customer. I ended up waiting 15-20 minutes until the techs were done with each other to get seated. Off putting but maybe that's just me. I left with my color pretty streaky and even after telling two different people, nothing was changed. It looks fine enough from far away and the shape was good so I didn't fight too hard. They also have no dryers?? So had to wait even longer for them to be dry enough. Idk if you're looking for no thrills and mediocre then this place works. read more

So unprofessional. I will never go back here. Charged me $126 for a gel pedicure and dip manicure, which is already quite steep. I venmoed the technician for tip. Then she proceeded to call and text me asking for more money hours after I paid and left. She claimed I was undercharged and said I owed $29 more for the service. This morning I woke up to a venmo request of $49 from her. I have never in my life experienced such borderline stalker level service from a salon before. I guess she found my number from when I called the salon to make the appointment? So creepy and should not be happening from a business. read more

Whoever owns Ivy Nail & Spa, don't ever get rid of Lyly. She gives so much attention to detail for every service I've ordered and I refuse to go to anyone else. She's great at what she does! This is a small nail shop located minutes from Clarendon Metro. I can't speak on acrylics or nail polish but I can tell you that if you need a quick and quality mani/pedi, go see Lyly. Absolutely in love with this place. I have been going to this nail salon for three years now and have not found a place that compares. As soon as you walk in they're attentive and offering you tea or coffee. They help with picking out a color as well. The best part is how relaxing their services are and the back massage at the end. Had an awesome first experience at Ivy Nail & Spa. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The decoré and background music was so relaxing. I highly recommend Henry. The pedicure was great. Being on my feet most of the day, Henry made my feet feel like new with a great foot massage. The massage chairs are incredible with several settings to work on my stiff back and neck. Henry finished the service with a great manicure. He payed close attention to my nails and made them look fresh and clean. I'm looking forward to returning for another great experience. Best nails I've had in a long time!! I have really long natural nails so going to new salons can be a bit iffy. I've never left a Yelp review for a place before but I found this place via Yelp and am so glad I did. The ladies are super nice and friendly! They can do anything from simple to ombré brushed. I've had the nails for two and a half weeks now and they barely look grown out at all. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend read more

I have been going to this place for 3 years and have had no issues. I went to get a dip manicure and Jessica Dao was my nail technician. I was simply deciding on what color I wanted to get and she told me "don't waste my time I have another client". The whole time was looking at the clock rushing through my appointment, cut me multiple times with the nail files. Horrible experience and will not be going there ever again. I have never experienced such a rude person at that salon. Do not book a session with her. read more

I've had Yuna, Annette, and Muggi do my manicures and pedicures. They have all been AMAZING!!! I've tried out so many different nail salons and none of them have ever treated me as well as they have! This place consistently is worth figuring out parking for if you're a first timer. They consistently give amazing manicures (with back massage) and long, enjoyable pedicures. I appreciate the attention to detail all their staff has. They offer you a drink when you get there and are as sweet as can be. My first choice for nail salons! Thank you Ivy Nails! Some tips -bring cash for tip -you can use card for service payment -$60 for gel manicure and regular pedicure (normally takes over an hour) -read tip on parking as can be confusing but in the end, this place is sooo worth it read more

OOH! The infamous Ivy Nails that holds top popularity on yelp. I finally tried it this past Sunday and will forever be true to them. Number one reason why is they are CLEAN. Each nail package is individually sanitized and wrapped. Baby Jesus has blessed me and not given me a fungal infection despite my numerous pedicures I get. I also was impressed how well the nail techs spoke English. It was nice to be able to ask questions about their services. Their manicure was unconventional which I adored. Instead of using water to soften the cuticles, they place your hands in warm mittens while giving you a gentle massage. This, the tech explained, is better than water. I do agree. As others have stated, park in the parking garage. It's free and they are on top of ensuring you get your ticket validated. While they could stand to use some more colors, the selection was good enough. I bring my own colors most of time, anyway. Unless they end up doing me wrong, Ivy Nails is my new place! read more

paid 85 for an acrylic full set, one color no design which is expensive in my opinion. was desperate for a manicure after my normal salon was booked. 5 days later and 3 of the acrylic overlays are completely lifted up. unimpressed to say the least an overlay set from my usual salon doesn't start to lift for at least 5-6 weeks. will not be returning for acrylic, good for a basic pedicure read more

I finally got my first manicure/pedicure. Suffice it to say, ivy didn't deter me from doing this again. I can see why people love it. They are so thorough, clean, nice. and the massage chair...ooohhhh downsides: a bit of a maze finding the correct parking ramp. Is 15+30 for a mani/pedi kind of expensive? tips: make an appt, get in first thing in the AM. This place gets busy. read more

Well..... In town and desperately needed a manicure as well as a repair of a nail that broke and it really hurt (it broke way down). It needed some big time glue/powder/love & attention as my manicurist back home would have given it, so it would have grown out in about 5 weeks or so. The "plus" to Ivy, and why I chose it based on all of the Yelp reviews is that the salon was very clean. However, while the warm mitts were nice, without a soak of my cuticles, I realized a few hours later that my hands really didn't look any different, AND the glue that had been put on? Came right off. I could have just bought some Super Glue at CVS (which I might do tonight) and have done it myself. I wound up taking off the polish so that I could soak/moisturize my cuticles, and try to get some of the glue off, so basically my manicure was just for a few hours. read more

I made my first appointment here and when I showed up for my appointment they had only allocated 40 minutes for me to get my manicure and that they didn't have time to do tips on my nails. I booked my appointment with extension tips on my nails so I guess they over booked. It kind of sucked because it was my first experience here:( They also told me they don't do any designs and they didn't have any bright neon summer colors for SNS :( I ended up having to go because they didn't have time for me even after I booked an appointment :/ read more

Ivy Nail is the best!! After moving to Arlington in August, I needed to find a new nail salon. I have gotten several gel manicures over the last few months, and have been pleased after every manicure. My nails always look perfect for 2-3 weeks after getting them done. I have recommended Ivy to several friends who also have had great experiences! Amy is my go-to but I love all of the nail technicians. They all have amazing attention to detail, plus a complimentary back and hand massage. They are always able to squeeze me in even if I call the day of to book an appointment. Two tips: you can use a credit card but bring cash for tips. Also make sure you park in the retail parking garage. The garage can be tricky to find at first but they'll validate your ticket. This has become my go to nail salon! It's in the Virginia Square neighborhood a few blocks from the metro right on Washington Blvd. There is a parking garage and they will validate your parking ticket if you bring it inside. The ladies who work here are very friendly and do great work! I've had several gel manicures done ($35) and they last for weeks. They also give a fabulously relaxing hand and arm massage during the pedicure. Ivy nail salon also does great pedicures and they have waxing services. The bonus at this place is that they serve complimentary water or BEER with your service. They have a mini fridge stocked with bud light! Getting your buzz on while getting your nails did... AWESOME! This is an amazing salon. I am here every other week. They are great at helping you choose colors and their gel selection is incredible. I generally make an appointment or call ahead 30 minutes before I want to go to make sure there is room to take me and never have a problem getting a spot. They do take walk ins and are very quick to accommodate. Absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. read more

I didn't feel any different after the massage and found myself quite disappointed. I got an email from Origins reminding me to leave a review. I responded asking to speak to someone about my experience and after a week, no response. I proceeded to email the email address on the website and gave my feedback. No response after 3 weeks I didn't feel like that was a deep tissue massage. The gentleman was sitting on a chair for 90% of the massage. Maybe he had a long day already.
