I believe this place has changed hands a everyone there wore 'm studio' aprons and they bill you as 'm studio' as well. I had booked a service listed on their website and when I got to the appointment they said they did not offer that service at all (regular polish manicure). I had to ask a couple times for them to please just do regular polish, and they had a whole wall of just regular polishes to pick from but I was given what seemed like a 'one off' regular manicure which was a measly nail trim and paint. They text you a link to pay which I thought was odd as well. Also there was a massive dead bug and a leaf pile by the register. I do not think this is the same Zen Nail Lounge I used to go to. One of the worst manicures I have had in a long time. I got a dip manicure and press on nails would have looked better. It looks like the color was just thrown on my nails and there was no time or effort put into shaping them. Parts of the dip are thick and other parts are very thin and nearly see through. The sides and bottom at the cuticle are way too thick and not faded - I know they will grow out very poorly and look even worse. The staff was nice and the salon was well kept, but the service itself that I paid for is not worth returning. read more

I went in with healthy, medium length nails. After and letting them grow out, I have rings of fire on every nail. I'm too nervous to get them done elsewhere after this experience. I knew something was wrong when I felt severe burning under the LED lamp. I've since learned that my natural nails were filed down with too much pressure. I won't be going back, but when I was there the salon was full. Clearly my experience wasn't theirs, as they were likely returning clients. But I don't want anyone to experience what I did. My friend recommended this place, and I was really excited to book my appointment. However, my experience has been incredibly disappointing. On the day of my appointment, I was told that the nail tech I specifically requested wasn't in. No one called to inform me that my appointment had been canceled. I was reassured that the nail tech would be in the next day, and they rebooked me. I rearranged my other appointments to accommodate this, only to show up the next day and find out--again--that the nail tech wasn't there, with no prior warning. The manager was very rude and even tried to explain that, since I'm a new customer, my rating in their system is low. I guess that means they decided not to call me? To make matters worse, I was offered no apology for the repeated inconvenience, and when I arrived with my service dog, I was told not to bring her since she "might scare other customers." As someone who relies on a service dog, this comment was incredibly upsetting and discriminatory. This was such a frustrating and disheartening experience. Have been going to Zen Nail Lounge for a few months now (six appts). This place is very clean and quiet. They play lounge music and it creates a nice vibe. The staff is friendly and professional. I've worked with several technicians and found them all to be top notch. I saw Claudia today and actually fell asleep two different times (warm water soak and massaging pedi chair helps). I went to this Salon around the holidays because I wanted I wanted to treat myself. I asked for a pedicure and to clean up my nails with a manicure. Pedicure was ok - the water wasn't so hot and wish there was more of massage at the end.. overall it was decent . Another lady did my manicure and cleaned out my nails and them look good. She told me to try SNS one more time even though i didn't want it. I went ahead and tried SNS again again event thought i didn't want to get it, and the lady was nice enough to not charge me.. A week later my nails were cheaper a whole SNS part of my nail came off - my nails looked horrible for new years. I def won't get my manicure done anymore - waste of time money and my nails get so messed up. I am not happy!! read more

Worst "manicure" I have ever received. Asked for SNS manicure, and left with dried dip powder is all over my cuticles. Nails are lumpy, uneven, and bulky. Large portions of my nail bed are not even covered by dip powder. Repeatedly asked technician to file, reshape, fill in the gaps etc. however she continued rushing and doing and extraordinarily sloppy job. Shocked I would be allowed to leave the salon like this. This was the BEST nail salon experience I've ever had. I made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes early but was greeted and seated immediately. The place is clean and pretty. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they even sampled it on my nail to make sure it was the color I wanted. The pedicure was amazing including a long scrub massage (loved that it was timed), followed by a lotion massage, and finishing off with warm towel. Love love love the ladies at Zen Nail Lounge! I have been coming to this salon every 2-3 weeks since they opened in December and have left happy after every visit. Their new shop is beautiful and clean and all of the staff members are so sweet and personable. They always take their time and pay attention to detail which is important to me. I got a gel manicure here and the manicure did not last even three days before it chipped. I went back in to get it fixed, but then five days later, another nail chipped. So it hasn't even been two weeks and my manicure has chipped. I wouldn't pay the money for this place. Also, I am not certain of the cleanliness here. I didn't see them disinfect the foot basin for pedicures after a client was done, and also they didn't disinfect the bowel used to soak my nails. I saw her rinse the bowl and put it away. read more
