Completely disappointed with this company…read more They claim to provide climate-controlled storage, but after two years in their facility, many of my furniture pieces were covered in MOLD. Two years ago, they picked up all of my furniture and stored it in what they repeatedly represented as a climate-controlled environment. I paid my storage fees every month, on time, and trusted them to properly protect my belongings. When they recently delivered my furniture to my new apartment, I discovered mold on multiple items, including my leather dining chairs and my bed. This should never happen in a properly climate-controlled facility. When I asked for an explanation, no one could give me a clear answer. Instead of addressing the damage, they tried to charge me additional fees. I asked whether they had insurance and whether there was any way to compensate me after being a loyal customer for two years. The responses were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. In the end, I still paid $900 for the delivery while being left with damaged furniture and no real solution. I now have to deal with mold remediation and replace items that should have been protected. I do not recommend this company. Based on my experience, their claims about climate-controlled storage were misleading, and the result was significant damage, wasted money, and wasted time.

Never will I rent from the Coral Gables location again and I urge you not to either. The elevators…read moreare a lifeline to their business and they never work. The day we moved in there, one elevator was working and it was packed because the day before, neither elevators were working. This is unacceptable. Then, about a month and a half into our service, I got an email move out notice, telling me they appreciate our business and have moved out our items. This was obviously a mistake and it was meant for somebody else but that sent me into a panic and though I called over there, it took a while for someone to contact me back. Lastly, August 1 was our move out day and not only is it the first of the month, but also a weekend and we flew from our home city to work on the move out, rented a U-Haul and hand truck, only to find out the elevators are out of service!! We are on the seventh floor, so it's not possible to remove any of our items. Obviously, another big problem and totally unacceptable. Currently, we are halfway into Sunday and elevators are still are not working and we can't get any answers as to if they're working on them. This not only forces us to spend more money, but disrupts our everyday as we have to go back to work tomorrow, Monday and have flight flights scheduled back to our home city. Our entire weekend, it was scheduled around our move out, has been completely disrupted and ruined. It is definitely the perfect storm and the worst situation.

I'm very happy I found this place ! I have been w/ them for a year & not a single complaint ! They…read moreare however located in a hidden location, so getting there might be a bit tricky. Other than that, they don't have any bugs or rodents, as far as I've been--so that's definitely a major PLUS (unlike Public Storage who has rats & still expects you to pay your bill even though the rats will come in, eat through your clothes & shit in your belongings). Definitely don't mind renting from Top Self Storage.

COMPLETE SCAM PLACE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Online it said 50% off first two months…read moreand had a price of $20. I called and spoke to a guy who said there was no slash through the $20 so that the 50% would come off the $20 (versus the $20 being the 50% off price). So I paid online and did all the paperwork for my mom. There was an additional $20 new account fee and it was the end of the month so the amount due was only $26. My mom went to put stuff in the unit I'd gotten her and they charged her more fees which she was told "online doesn't show." It has been two weeks since then and she went to the unit today only to see their red lock on it for non payment. They said the money on 6/1 didn't come out of my account automatically (which it didn't because they didn't withdraw it as they should have) so it was a late payment and would cost her an extra $47! When it was no fault of ours. Besides the fact that it was supposed to be 50% off the first two months. The front desk man was yelling at her that he didn't personally do the paperwork so she doesn't get the 50% off and that it's not his fault they didn't automatically withdraw the money from my account. In total, we paid over $100 for just 2 weeks of usage on a unit that was only supposed to cost $10 a month with that discount. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

I reserved a unit online and was required to upload my driver's license. I tried more than a dozen times and the system would not accept it. I then called the Coral Way location and spoke directly with a staff member, who asked me to email my ID to her. She confirmed she received it while I was on the phone, told me everything was set, and provided me with my gate code and storage unit number. A week later, my daughter went to the facility on a Sunday with a full car, ready to unload and the gate code did not work. Since the office was closed, the call center answered. They told me the issue was that my ID was never uploaded. I explained the entire situation, including that the onsite employee had received my ID and issued the gate code and unit number. They even contacted the district manager and claimed the issue was "fixed." After 45 minutes of back-and-forth, the gate code still never worked. I requested a refund the following Monday. It has now been over a week and a half (almost two weeks), and I still have not received my deposit. I keep getting the runaround with no resolution. This experience was disorganized, frustrating, and completely unreliable. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to stay away. I truly feel like I dodged a major bullet. KEEP AWAY I have contacted the office directly multiple times. All with no results.
