Tables in the bar Fun creative deserves a mention

Friday Night after the New Year is apparently where the Locals Hang! The Place was hopping. Great energy a warm welcome. So many friends and families enjoying a snowy evening at the Bitty Bar! We had a great time. We were seated in the Bar. At a high top which was great! The Bar Tender, Ted Waited our Table. He is the perfect example of and Amazing Bar Tender with attention to detail and Services The Crowd well deserved a shoutout! I had the Mussels so many People had told me I need to try them. Probably some of the best I have ever had. The hint of smoke from the Pork Belly the Broth and the Pearl onions, garlic and Cherry tomatoes. Just right. Others enjoy the Burgers and French dip. Everyone said their food was Delicious! It was a perfect Combination of Friends and Food to ring out the Holidays! Just expect a crowd!

Very good food! Definitely one of the better restaurants in Holland. The food, fun atmosphere, and service makes it a destination for locals. You'll often find the parking lot packed at dinner time, so I recommend getting there early.

The atmosphere here is deceptive. It truly does look Itty Bitty. With an small open air area with maybe 20 tables and a bar. With black walls and murals painted on them. It is eccentric. There's a single door on the back wall that I thought went to the bathroom and the kitchen. Turns out to be an even bigger restraint/bar side with even more tables and another bar area, this one all inside and the more classic bar look. They proudly call themselves a dive bar. I ordered the Bbq Wagyu Meatloaf ($22). This is a BBQ meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes sided with roasted carrots, finished with mushroom gravy, topped with fried onions, and served with garlic toast. It comes in a small cast Iron pan with the mashed potatoes on the bottom, a okay size slice of meatloaf on top and finished with some gravy. I thought it was okay. It was probably better than average. I doubt I would order it again though. The mashed potatoes were also very average. Not smooth or creamy, but taste was again okay. Normally I don't like carrots, I did like these so there's that. The person I was with ordered the Itty Bitty Burger ($13). It was declared to be okay, but they'd had much better. Personally I thought it looked small. The service was very good. Very friendly and they kept my drink full. So the best part of visit. Overall a 3 star review. Would I return? No. This place was recommended to me. I'm glad some people love it, It's just not for me

Revisited: Nachos with Birria Beef.

I reviewed Itty Bitty on 10/2/2024. I couldn't help but think I was missing out on something great, and it's so close to home. I went back on Saturday, June 21. I had a completely different experience. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our bartender said there was no cocktail menu, but she could most likely make anything we requested. She did! She made an excellent peach margherita, and a rum runner for my husband. Later on I ventured back to ordering the nachos on the menu. I can't help myself. I love nachos and the birria nachos were calling. These were completely different (thank goodness) from my first experience. I'm sold. We didn't try any other menu items on this visit, but we will return to try more.

Biked to Itty Bitty Bar from the state campgrounds. It's not itty bitty inside and they are self-proclaimed dive bar. Beautiful interior. Wasn't busy for a Saturday afternoon though it's still off season. Nine of us found seating and waited for service. Bartenders are running the service and fairly slow but it was ok. They were friendly and took care of us. The food was really tasty. The draft list is small and there was no other list of bottled beers. The sangria was too sweet for me. More like a cocktail w lemonade is what it tasted like. We would have ordered more drinks but the food came out in odd order and he got busy otherwise. The kids' burgers were perfect. Skip the pizza. I took one bite and wanted to spit it out. It looked really good but it was cardboard crust and tasteless. The mussels were spicy with the sausage and veg stuff in it. I just wanted mussels and they were fine enough. I left the other stuff behind. They could use a bike rack out front.

The itty bitty burger is delicious! Honestly an incredible burger

I went on a recommendation from a friend. The itty bitty burger is DELICIOUS! Like I housed that thing and almost forgot to take a picture for you all. Right after the first bite I could barely stop eating it. Delicious food, quick service. I highly recommend

July 2025 - Holland Indoor and Outdoor Patio! In summary for…read morepersonal reasons (stated at the end of the review) I will not be back. Poor management and what turned into unfriendly vibes. $$$/$$$$ Monday Margarita Special - $5 regular or $8 premium ; add strawberry for $3.00. It was pretty empty outside on a Monday, especially Happy Hour. Happy Hour consisted of a $ amount off on appetizers and margaritas. We got the beef nachos, tempura shrimp, and salad. The 5 regular margaritas total and the food totaled to be $81 between 4 people. Regular Margarita: 9/10 - perfect mix, served in a 12oz plastic cup. Felt like the cup was filled halfway with ice before liquids were poured. I had over a quarter of a cup of icecubes left after 40 minutes of dining. Beef nachos: 8/10 - $17 - feel like there was one ingredient missing. There was queso, pico de gallo, lettuce, peppers, jalapeño and got the protein choice of beef. (Protein choices - beef, chicken or pork) Tempura Shrimp: 7/10 - $22 - Tasted like a japanese hibachi restaurant. The flavors took me home, especially with the picked diced cucumber. I loved the details and plating. There were 5 shrimp on my plate, totaling $4.40 per shrimp. Great flavors and pretty big, just pricey imo for an appetizer. Salad: 9/10 - $15 - the bowl was FILLED. No room to mix well without another plate. Croutons were unfortunately soggy. Dressing was delicious! Best caesar salad I have had in a while. Serving wasn't the greatest. Our waiter was super helpful when we asked the difference between the regular and premium margaritas. We were asked if we needed anything else after our food was served, but not anytime after that. For it barely being busy, I would have appreciated being checked on at least once even if we didn't need anything. We were waiting for her to come over because we were done and waiting for the check. It looked like mainly teen servers running the show with the manager present. (Who I think is?) The manager was sitting with a guest with two dogs. The golden retreiver came over to our table a few times, no bother, just smiles. The other dog was chilling on a chair taking in the paparazzi. When we were finished paying, we walk past the gentleman with the two dogs. I was petting the golden, and my mother was too. There was little conversation exchanged between the gentleman and my mother. After we walk away, my mother looks...confused. She informs me the gentleman said to her "I know you Asians love to gamble." Like. What? We were 2-3 tables away from him, not talking about gambling once.

It's next door to their sister restaurant, Lovejoy. Walking in, the space is very dimly lit with a nice bar and some cozy seating. We were directed to a couch and a couple of low chairs. The menu is organized into different "chapters," with different themes for each chapter. They also have beer, wine, spirit-free options, and a spirits list. I wanted something fun, so I chose the Don the Beachcomber, a rum-based tiki cocktail that is flamed tableside. My friend got the Obstacle No. 1, which is a bourbon drink that they smoke at your table. Very theatrical and fun! These drinks were $20+ so pretty pricey, but worth it for a fun occasion. We had a nice time just relaxing and catching up. I would say it's not a great spot for a large group, but definitely a fun date night place. They have a small food menu of offerings from the restaurant next door that sounded tasty. We had just eaten but I'd be interested in their small plates. I'm so glad I got to experience this place. Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!

Lastly, Annie asked the other tables around us if they would like dessert... We were not offered dessert at all. I failed to mention that we came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday as we are traveling out of town. We had a great experience with the other staff; from the host, other servers, to Grant (who ran our food out), to who I think was the manager on the floor. We always choose to be peaceful in the restaurant, so I chose to not speak to anyone in management. They offer a percentage off of your meal for your birthday with a valid ID. I was so frustrated that I did not even want to mention we were there celebrating. The restaurant was very nice and I love you have a beautiful view while dining. The food was eh.
