We stopped by for a late nite meal and found the staff to be super friendly with. I've offering is food. We had a burger and it was great.

What a great location with typical beach bar food. I had a Ceasar Salad, I should know better. My stomach is currently turning. Service is obviously fast and know what you want bc the servers are not going to spend much time in your table. I get it, I used to go to these establishments in South Haven all the time. But never received service like today. We get there there is a table available but they don't seat us there they ask if we're ok sharing the back long table. Sure I don't care. What got me annoyed was when they asked us to move to accommodate a 20 top. Who comes with a group of 20 at 530 expecting to be seated. I understand the motive behind asking us to move, but thought that was really rude. I asked for my bill. No comps. Will I go back no absolutely not. The location is behind the boat storage garage and is almost like a maze to get too. I have tried replacing South Haven as my beach town but Holland will not win, nor will LoLos. read more

Mice the size of crocs were scurrying in and out of the kitchen. I swear, there must've been more mice in that kitchen than there were people. Food was soggy. You might as well go eat seaweed from Lake Mac. Not to mention it was lukewarm. Don't waste your time or money. July 2025 - Holland Indoor and Outdoor Patio! In summary for personal reasons (stated at the end of the review) I will not be back. Poor management and what turned into unfriendly vibes. $$$/$$$$ Monday Margarita Special - $5 regular or $8 premium ; add strawberry for $3.00. It was pretty empty outside on a Monday, especially Happy Hour. Happy Hour consisted of a $ amount off on appetizers and margaritas. We got the beef nachos, tempura shrimp, and salad. The 5 regular margaritas total and the food totaled to be $81 between 4 people. Regular Margarita: 9/10 - perfect mix, served in a 12oz plastic cup. Felt like the cup was filled halfway with ice before liquids were poured. I had over a quarter of a cup of icecubes left after 40 minutes of dining. Beef nachos: 8/10 - $17 - feel like there was one ingredient missing. There was queso, pico de gallo, lettuce, peppers, jalapeño and got the protein choice of beef. (Protein choices - beef, chicken or pork) Tempura Shrimp: 7/10 - $22 - Tasted like a japanese hibachi restaurant. The flavors took me home, especially with the picked diced cucumber. I loved the details and plating. There were 5 shrimp on my plate, totaling $4.40 per shrimp. Great flavors and pretty big, just pricey imo for an appetizer. Salad: 9/10 - $15 - the bowl was FILLED. No room to mix well without another plate. Croutons were unfortunately soggy. Dressing was delicious! Best caesar salad I have had in a while. Serving wasn't the greatest. Our waiter was super helpful when we asked the difference between the regular and premium margaritas. We were asked if we needed anything else after our food was served, but not anytime after that. For it barely being busy, I would have appreciated being checked on at least once even if we didn't need anything. We were waiting for her to come over because we were done and waiting for the check. It looked like mainly teen servers running the show with the manager present. (Who I think is?) The manager was sitting with a guest with two dogs. The golden retreiver came over to our table a few times, no bother, just smiles. The other dog was chilling on a chair taking in the paparazzi. When we were finished paying, we walk past the gentleman with the two dogs. I was petting the golden, and my mother was too. There was little conversation exchanged between the gentleman and my mother. After we walk away, my mother looks...confused. She informs me the gentleman said to her "I know you Asians love to gamble." Like. What? We were 2-3 tables away from him, not talking about gambling once. read more

Live music spot on the marina on Lake Macatawa. However, the music was so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation. Not very family friendly as this is mostly a bar. The nachos were quite average for the price we paid. read more

Stopped on a whim to have a couple of drinks while camping at the state park. The seating was a little bit of a "free for all" situation, but luckily we got there at a good time. The drinks were nicely pour, if you know what I mean. The staff was busy, but didn't short us on being friendly and attentive. Also snacked on some fries, shoestring size, and they were good. The one drawback for me was the strong statement on editing the menu food items. I am a little bit of a picky eater so having an option to remove onions or tomato's would have been nice for menu items. I understand the need to push out food, a slight accomadation would be a crowd pleaser. All in all a good vibe for a beach town and out of the beaten path of the summer rush. read more

Horrible food, food was cold two times drink wasn't what I wanted and they still charged me I didn't even eat it or drink it

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt as I've been excited to try, but so shocked about my experience here today. We sat ourselves at 2:40 as there wasn't a hostess stand or any signage. About 15 minutes later we were finally greeted by our waiter who gave us menus and waters. As soon as the waters were sat down, I noticed a long hair on one and went to take it off the cup, imagining it was just stuck to the side. However, as I pulled on it, it was twisted in the ice. When the waiter walked by I asked for a new one due to the hair and he got us a new one. Should've left at this point, but waiting, waiting, waiting. We had already landed on our drinks, appetizer, and meal yet the waiter had walked past multiple times ignoring us then no where to be found. Finally at 3:20 I got the attention of another waitress and asked if our waiter's shift had ended as we've been seated for 40 minutes without anyone taking our order. Now this waitress, Haley (I believe), was GREAT!!!! She apologized and took over our table while we seen she had her hands full with two large tables. Food came out very fast which was great since we waited so long to be served. My first bite of the nachos had literal PLASTIC on top! At this point, I'm over it and ready to leave but we haven't even gotten our main course. Our food came which looked delicious, but fell short. I got fish and chips which I couldn't attempt to finish after pulling out about 4 bones from my first filet. We were there way longer than planned, 2:40-4:30. Overall, the only positive thing about my afternoon was the second waitress who took over our table. Highly recommend they invest in hiring a hostess, establishing better sections for their wait staff, and training their staff. read more

This place should be self-serve. It is apparent that most of the staff is untrained and inexperienced. What could they do better ? GVIE A SHIT! The service was terrible!!! We asked to get our table wiped down, we had to grab menus from other tables, we had to go grab our own condiments after the food arrived. The waitstaff was too busy sitting at a table in the back. Bathrooms were void of any paper products. Floors were littered with garbage. This is the beginning of their summer season. They are off to a deficit start. To the owner: save your money on payroll, it would be a better experience. Hiring "pretty" gives the customers only that, nothing else. One waitress appeared to be on her game. The Wagyu burger was good, the rest of the food was cold and subpar. There are many other places in town to spend your time and money. We will not be back and we will be telling others of our experience. read more

We had heard such great comments about Lolo's we headed there on a Friday night. The setting was nice and the music was decent. Was disappointed when I ordered my food minus 2 ingredients and when I received it I discovered that they have "picked off" those ingredients. When I asked for a new dish I was told everything was pre-made early in the day and it wasn't an option. I wish this information would have been shared when I ordered - what if I had allergies to those ingredients??? The waitress did not make any effort to rectify my disappointment. In addition, when my partner requested the side dish that came with his expensive dinner be brought to him she was annoyed. It was all a bad experience! Ordered takeout on Father's Day thinking this would be swamped like everything else but perhaps we lucked out since it's tucked away some in a marina. Once I arrived I noticed a couple tables that would work perfectly for the rest of our party (10 total) so I talked with Spencer and he was amazingly accommodating and gracious in reserving the sections so we could all join. Honestly a great host / bar tender that went above and beyond and should be recognized. It's a beautiful waterside location but the food was surprisingly stellar. Some great nachos and walleye meal, and a great cocktail selection made for an awesome evening down by the water. Definitely worth seeking this place out! read more

We had friends recommend Lolo's and tried them this weekend. This is a hidden gem tucked away in the marina. While the menu is simple and limited (no substitutes, no additions & no subtractions), the food was very good. The service was good and the ambiance was great for a sunny evening on the deck surrounded by the marina. We love coming here for drinks and snacks. We shared the pink lemonade punch bowl (25% off before 3pm). The chips and dip are delicious. It comes with guacamole, salsa, black bean hummus, and queso. The queso and hummus are my favorites! The chips are homemade and really delicious. We always get more chips and it's such a great snack while drinking a punch bowl! read more

Wife and I both got a plate of re fried fries from yesterday with our entree in it. I got three pieces of frozen cod with more breading than fish. Wife got a spicy burger that had half the meat on it and didn't even have spice (her words not mine). If your the owner please go to South Haven and St Joe to get fish and chips. To top it all off we both had our entree only, one drink a piece and we had a $70 tab... only other cool thing about the place is they allow dogs. We went here on advice of others & it was a disappointment. It's an outdoor deck, no indoor seating. The place hasn't seen a coat of paint in a long time. One of its attractions should be a nice view of the marina, we got a table in the back with a view of a parking lot. The food isn't very good, I had nachos that weren't good. They mention they cook their own chips which were overdone, they'd be best to get them elsewhere. My lady had tuna tacos which she said were blah. On the upside they had a very entertaining band that played some old school R&B and the service was very good. The prices were reasonable but if you're planning to go have a drink or 2, enjoy the music but pass on the food. read more

THIS PLACE WAS FUN!! It's not a "nice" place - it's a place to come and hang out, have a drink (avg ~$9, but well made) and eat some.. snacks. Dont plan on a fancy meal. Walking upon the bar's decking, live music was playing.. People were dancing & there was true happy energy swirling in the perfectly cool evening air.. Very simple, yet nice adult beverage menu.. Sidekick's is a rum drinker so he went with their "Rum on the Wave"(to see ingredients see menu under Slushies) I am not a rum drinker, but I would have drank that.. It was tasty.. I am a white liquor consumer, so I went with Tito's Bandito.. Just think of a Pineapple Martini..It was a GoOd STiFF drink it & at $8 a pop it more than did its job nicely.. Now going in we weren't planning on eating but after seeing a few items on the menu, we decided to give it a try.. We ordered the #4 taco and their "version" of a torta.. The #4 Duck Taco seemed unique and was worth giving it a try.. Hoisin BBQ Duck, Ginger-Carrot-Jicama Slaw, Toasted Sesame, Cilantro $4.75 That's all sounds yummy, Right?? Well, I have to say we were sadly disappointed..The tortilla was horrible & the hoisin BBQ sauce was too heavy in spice, that it left a weird after taste in your mouth..The slaw was flavorless.. We both only took a tasing bite, left the rest & they're not big tacos.. Our sweet bartender/server took it off our tab.(much appreciated) But this food review is not about the taco,(just pass #4 by) it's about the Torta $13.99.. O-M-G just seeing all the ingredients that were going into that sandwich.. You think to yourself, "if they can pull that off; that is going to be beyond awesome".. Well folks, it was BE-YoND.. Brisket, pulled pork, bacon, black bean spread, chorizo & fried potato served on toasted bread w/jack cheese, shredded lettuce, guacamole & chipotle bacon jam(if nothing else got you in that list of ingredients..The chipotle bacon jam has got to have you intrigued, Right?) This Torta could have gone horribly wrong, but they made it completely right.. One of the BeSt sandwiches this Foodie has enjoyed.. Everything on that torta was great quality & spot on..The pulled pork was perfect(see pic)..The Bacon=thick wide, real bacon.. The black bean spread was D'lish..It would make a wonderful dip..The guacamole was more like wonderful chunks of creamy avocado..The bread was toasted beyond crisp & as it set, all the ingredients soaked in softening it up.. Scrump-Dilly-icious 10+ The torta came with a large order of fries that were absolutely wonderful.. I asked for a side ranch dressing to add too a few of the hot sauce they had.. Made for a wonderful Fry Sauce.. If you want a sandwich full of top-notch ingredients & amazing combination of flavors..Order the torta folks, you will not be disappointed..(writing this review my mouth is watering, thinking about that torta) Lolo's has a perfect location in the Marina on Lake Michigan(beautiful surroundings-see pic).. Perfect to enjoy great food, live music & the wonderful summer weather Michigan has to offer.. The staff that we interacted w/ were helpful & enjoyable..
