A spontaneous decision to satisfy our appetites. Had flautas, Chalupa and a taco. $17 The red sauce they bring to the table is delicious. All flavors good. The rice was a little tepid and not the best but it was a side not a main feature. Seating is in same space as shopping area. A good spot to pick up some specialty items if you are interested. For example Abuelita chocolate to make that delicious hot chocolate. It was a little cool inside but it was end of the night for them and an extra cold night outside. I would go back and be willing to try more menu items. We had no wait but we came 20 minutes before closing. read more

I am soooo happy I chose this over The Biscuit during my brief visit to Holland. no line out the door and very little wait for the best torta I've ever had. every piece of it was spectacula! From the perfectly marinated carne asada - so tender and delicious, crispy and fresh lettuce and onion, the bread was the exact consistency needed to hold it all together yet not too soft, and where they got that avocado must have been blessed. Overall, if I'm back in town I will go directly to Rosie's. I highly recommend you don't skip it. The outside and parking lot may throw you off, but you will NOT be disappointed! read more

Supermercado Rosie is a small grocery store that contains limited seating. Rosie's is my favorite place to get Carne Asada tacos in Holland. If you're ordering take out for lunch, you'll want to call at least 15 mins ahead for small orders and 30 mins for larger orders (especially on Tuesdays). I also recommend ordering their homemade tortilla chips and purchasing their guacamole (which you'll have to grab from the fridge). The staff is really friendly, pricing is reasonable and the portions are good. read more

Sometimes the small restaurants are the best! My cousin and I are both vegetarians. There was only cheese enchiladas on the menu that had no meat so that's what we went with. I'm not kidding when I say these were the best enchiladas I've ever had! Everything was fresh, the guacamole was amazing, and the green sauce wasn't too spicy. For as long as I know, Rosies has been my favorite restaurant to order authentic carne asada tacos from. Over the past couple years, they have increased their prices by an immense, unnecessary amount. You also do not receive an itemized receipt from them either making it very frustrating and confusing. The reason from this 2.5* star rating is as followed: - multiple times I have called in to place a pickup order, showed up the their restaurant, and they are closed & no one answers the phone-- this being said, they advertise being closed at 8pm & I showed up at 7:20 (as they told me to). Very disappointing, unmanaged and disrespectful. - prices continue to be increasing, many similar family owned restaurants have way nicer prices.. 1 taco should not be $3. That being said, the quality of their food has also considerably deteriorated.. at times my orders look like the food was picked up off the ground and thrown together... there is much room for improvement. - when asking for extra sauce or limes, I always need to repeat myself at pickup otherwise I will not receive what I asked for. - no prices on or signs indicating prices or any of their supermarket items. Very frustrating, creating simple hand written signs could be done in 10 minutes and would save customers the confusion... market side is poorly put together All in all, if you're willing to pay for overpriced tacos, they are phenomenal and hands down the best taco spot in southern Holland area, however, their quality is nothing like it used to be, and there are no excuses for bad quality. read more

Never think that I will ever try taco, but my friend invited me out for a dinner here. It was a fast dinner place because it's a market, the food is decent I would say, but overal I enjoyed it. The portion is pretty good, and everything came out hot, which is always nice. read more

For two meals and a couple tacos I've had to wait up to an hour a couple times. The food is worth the wait, but it's a bit much. Outstanding Mexican food! Restaurant is inside of the market. Order at the counter and then there are booths around the corner with a tv where you can eat. Great authentic Mexican food. The location leaves a bit to be desired. Signs indicating proper parking would help them to begin. Small grocery store type store. You order food at the deli counter. Seating for 10-20 people or so. Great prices. And to the ladies running the cash register, you're missing out. If you'd have customers sign and decide on a tip when paying with credit card, you'd make a LOT more money. read more
