Came in on Saturday after graduation. Reservation was for 7, but we were not seated until 7:35. Our server Hailey aka Symone was incredibly sweet and kind. She apologized for the long wait several times and offered up a complimentary appetizer as it took over an hour to get our food. The grilled Caesar salad had a strange presentation, but honestly it was delicious. My friends ordered the fish and grits and were underwhelmed. A couple people had the cheeseburger and said it was very meh. I wanted a latte, but settled for coffee which was actually really good. I probably wouldn't come back. Our server was the saving grace and this establishment is lucky to have her. read more

5 Stars!!! The grilled Caesar salad wedge was really good!!!!! Loved the grilled flavor and texture. 10 stars for the lamb chops!! They were tender, juicy & seasoned to perfection!!! So sad only three came in the order as everyone at the table wanted to try it!! Also ordered the potatoes a la carte. They went perfectly with the lamb chops. Service was excellent! read more

This was my third time coming to Itta Bena, but unfortunately, the third time wasn't the charm. When we arrived, they were out of several menu items, including the steak, and the only option available was the ribeye. After placing our order, we asked for a burger instead, but after waiting an hour and a half, we were told they had no burger patties either. The one bright spot was our server, Simone. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She did everything she could despite the kitchen issues, and I truly appreciated her excellent customer service. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 4/10. The service from Simone was great, but the long wait and lack of menu availability made for a disappointing visit. read more

We had to work on Friday so we decided to engagement night out and go somewhere different. Instead of driving north, we decided to go south and try out Itta Bena in the Windcreek Casino in Montgomery, AL. I do suggest making reservations on Open Table because you will have to wait. The host greeted us on the first floor and directed us to the elevator to go to the restaurant. Once we got off the elevator, they were right there with big smiles and seated us promptly. Everyone was so friendly and our needs were met throughout the evening. Our server YaMese, was so friendly and helpful. She picked out our entire meal and she was on point! We started off with the fried calamari. It was seasoned and fried lightly. The remoulade sauce was just what was needed to take it over the top. Our entrees were the New York strip , lamb chops with sweet potato casserole, broccolini and the best risotto I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection but the lamb chops were the star of the show. They were so tender and the balsamic glaze made me pick the bone up and eat like I was at home. We hade the red velvet cheesecake for dessert and that was the best one period. We really enjoyed the young lady singing. She was amazing. If I had one request, it would be putting her away from the bar area. With her talent, she needs to be in the middle of the room where everyone can see her and make it more entertaining. She would definitely get more tips in the middle versus on one side where people can avoid her instead of giving her a tip. read more

I was treated to a Mother's Day brunch and it was truly amazing. It was Buffett style and had plenty of stations to go around. The Ambiance is breathtaking and the food was chef kiss! read more

Adult environment and great food with excellent service. I love the live entertainment and the smooth flow of the restaurant

Erin Cormier (bartender) at Itta Bena is fabulous. So personable, always remembers our names, and always provides excellent service. She makes it one of our favorite places to eat! The menu is great... and my favorite, the Abita Shrimp appetizer, is a must! read more

The atmosphere and live music are always nice. Our waitress for the night was in training but made phenomenal wine suggestions. We ordered the Bayou Crab Dip, and Braised Short Ribs with a side of Broccolini for dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert we opted for the classic brownie with ice cream. read more

This has been my secret Hideaway restaurant for a while now. I almost don't want to share, but it would be wrong for me not to. They recently got a new chef and he is the bomb.com. The food is amazing, one thing that has improved greatly is the sheet crab soup. It used to be hot milk now it is a reduced down creamy delectable soup. And it is always served piping hot. Pretzel bread with the soften flavored butter is also amazing. The salad is great. The specials are awesome. Chef Antwuan is doing a great job! read more

A romantically lit evening, with the perfect lighting and just the right background music. Despite being in a party of 38 service was well done with almost no mistakes (did have a shrimp snafu but corrected immediately). The food was well done, the presentation was fine, and the drinks were just delicious. Definitely would recommend the wild mushroom pasta and the shrimp jambalaya. All full of great flavor and just right portion size. I did not want for nothing after completing our mains. Great venue to be in and set the bar high for southern fine dining. Highly recommended. read more

Today, they gave me an impeccable experience. I discovered that they have brunch on Sundays in which both the manager and the chef were generous to accommodate me in which I really appreciate them. They exemplified immaculate customer service. The drink Bluebonnet was delicious if you enjoy sour drinks and the food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect from the lighting to the music. Thank you to the incredible staff at Itta Bena. read more

Excellent service... the food was superb, atmosphere was intimate and server met our every need. We will definitely be back!

Another great restaurant in Montgomery! Atmosphere, ambiance, quaintness, food, desserts, vibe, service and live music always good! Did not give five stars only because of its location. Because I am not a gambler the only downside I have to the restaurant is it's inside the casino location. I have always felt that great, upscale restaurants like it is, should have an entrance for its guest, outside of the casino. I don't frequent it as much due to having to condition myself for the walk "all the way"through the casino scene to get to the elevator which takes you up to enter the restaurant. read more

My whole family had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The waiters were so nice and the food was great! They were able to take our last minute reservation of a group 24 people. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! We couldn't find a restaurant for our family at the casino, but they saved us and treated us so well! read more

Horrible .... Valentine's Day was very expensive and the taste of the food didn't match

Just amazing! We will return when we're in the area. Hands down the best service and food.

Service on point! Food on point! Atmosphere was on point! One of the best experiences we've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend this place..a little confusing to get to if not a local, but staff was friendly and gave directions once inside the casino. Can't give enough stars for this place. Manager even came and sat at the table to make sure service was okay. We saw the bartender ask for clarification on a drink at one of the patrons table. Talk about customer service!!! When back in town, we will definitely be back! Thank you Tiffany and the other wonderful staff! read more

This is a cobia fillet with potatoes and broccoli. I gave it a 3 because the potatoes were cold, the sauce on the bottom of the plate was very oily, and honestly the portions are always rather small for $38. The fish was good, but the entire plate was lacking in seasoning. However, the plating was beautiful! The ambiance was very nice with live music, but most importantly it was a nice environment for a great night out with friends. Lastly, I can't leave out I love the touch of giving ladies a white rose after the meal. read more

Just wow!!' The Grouper Florentine was out of this world good! I cannot say enough about it. Our server, Jada, was amazing, always checking on us to make sure we were happy with our meal. The ambiance is very romantic, with a lady singing soft blues and jazz songs, not too loud as to interfere with conversation. We will definitely be returning. If you don't get the grouper, it won't be my fault read more

We have eaten at this best kept secret many times, and it NEVER FAILS TO IMPRESS! When you go, try the salmon. It is truly the most delicious I've ever tasted, and it is served beautifully. Let's start with the ribeye. Perfectly cooked and the taste was amazing. NO steak sauce necessary when you order this perfect cut of meat. Next, let's talk about those lamb chops. OMG!!!! Perfect taste, just need a few more bones to make me very happy! (LOL) The garlic mashed potatoes are perfect each time we had them. Always a good meal at Itta Bena. Without a doubt the best meal I have had! Me and my husband came here for our anniversary. We were seated right away are searcher was attentive and we never had an empty drink. The food is a bit pricey, steaks are Ala-Cart, but my husband has the ribeye and it was more than he could eat. The atmosphere is very nice, I like that the booths have privacy curtains to pull closed if you wish. Great food, Great Service, will definitely visit again! read more

While a few things fell short, my overall experience was very pleasant here! We went for my mom's birthday on a late Friday evening, and the dining room was less than half full. Our waitress was very attentive, and our appetizers were quick and amazing; the she-crab soup was so good! But the dishes themselves took quite a while. Despite this, I still loved my overall experience and definitely will be back. read more

The food and atmosphere were great! Lamb and risotto were well seasoned and the pastalaya was delicious. Will definitely return for more.

Located in a hidden portion of Casino so directions had to be solicited. The atmosphere was attractive and the service attitude was great. Then there was the food! I cannot believe that I paid $124.00 for two patrons and received the slop that I was served. I have had better prepared and tasting dinners at outback for half the price. I guess I paid for the service and atmosphere because the food taste was horrible! Both my wife and I ordered the same dish and left 3/4 on the plate but was never asked "How was your dinner". read more

Limited brunch menu, perfectly executed. Fried Green Tomato was the best we've had anywhere. Firm, perfectly crusted with a nice bite. Four to an order, so you can share with another couple. Crab Benedict would be ordered again. Eggs perfectly cooked, light hollandaise sauce complemented the crab. Great flavors. Omelets were huge and the fried potatoes everyone received were hot, properly crispy and had terrific seasoning. Mixed reviews from our group on the Bloody Mary's. Two thought the flavor was a little off. Good service from Erin and the food runners. We've been to the Itta Bena in Memphis and this establishment is a credit to the name. Heard they had valet parking, but didn't see any at the first set of doors when we drove in. Learned later that I should have driven around to the west entrance (which was closest to IB) to get it. read more

We've forgiven the person that suggested eating here. She picked up the tab. Awful from the start. Long wait for valet parking. We were told by the greeter to go through the hotel. Hotel desk said no, go back to where greeter was. We were with two 90 year old women so they let us thru, but couldn't get in. Once seated we were close to the very loud, off key piano player. Waited 15 minutes for server. After one hour we got our salad with too much dressing and soup not hot. Food was too salty, one filet had to be sent back. We were there over two hours. They were not busy at all. Just bad service bad food. read more

Best of upscale dinings in Windcreek. Blues atmosphere envelops you as you walk in. Catch the piano man and he will play your request. The seafood is well prepared. Above BB Kings Blues Club lies Wind Creek Montgomery's "hidden gem" Itta Bena. Executive Chef Rock Prince really is doing something special here. Worth the trip for this experience. The Duck Confit Grilled Cheese is just to die for as an appetizer. I had the filet served medium rare and cooked to perfection. The steak was cooked to the temp I asked but was the worst tasting steak I've eaten yet. Veggies I received had to be a week old. Only 3 other tables were seated when we arrived but the wait for food took ungodly long. The waiter we had was amazing, unfortunately he could tell we were displeased and tried to console us but told him it wasn't his fault. Seems like management was more worried about their personal touches instead of customer interests. We will be eating at the Fire or BB king from now on. read more
