I went back to the salon, and the manager asked if it had been 48 hours. Her son immediately responded, "No," and even remembered that I had just been there recently. Needless to say, they fixed my nails, and I left thinking everything was taken care of and that I would have nice polish for my upcoming trip. Well... the very next day, while in Mexico, I got in the pool for maybe 10 minutes, and multiple toes were already missing polish. By the third day of my trip, I had NO polish left on my toes. When I called the salon to discuss what happened, I was told that it had been more than 48 hours and that I would have to pay for a "new" service. At this point, it's not even about the money--it's about doing what's right. As a returning customer of a year, I expected better customer service and for the salon to stand behind its work, especially when the same issue had already happened once before. During the phone conversation, I repeatedly felt talked over rather than listened to. The call ultimately ended while I was still speaking, with "bye" repeatedly being shouted over me before the phone was disconnected. I'm overall disappointed because I was genuinely excited to try this salon based on the positive reviews and had hoped for a much more professional experience overall.
