We can't find this place - the map takes us to a field? Would love to try it.

We are in a neighborhood. This is not a restaurant, it is a cooking class. You can always give me a call if you want to join.

To say that I was devastated when Brentwood's Sur La Table closed and took their cooking classes…read morewith them is a major understatement. My favorite hobby and date night experience had been stolen from me! I was at a loss. And then ... a miracle happened in late 2023. Kitchen Social opened in Maryland Farms with a wonderful cooking school and my life was reinvigorated! And we've become loyal customers ever since! Nikki is a phenomenal instructor, engaging, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The food comes out perfectly every time and you'll have a blast the entire evening. Whether it's a date, becoming inspired to cook, or simply honing your techniques for us accomplished home cooks, I highly recommend finding this little gem tucked back in the Brentwood Corners strip mall!

The setup was great: rounded seating around the chef-instructor, so everyone had a perfect view. The space was bright, spotless, and stocked with some impressively high-end tools. Each pair got their own station, so it felt hands-on right from the start. Our chef was outstanding. She was energetic, clear, and full of tips we'll actually use again. She mixed great instruction with practical advice on technique, ingredients, and knife skills. Plenty of time to chat, laugh, and mingle as we cooked... and yes, we truly made every dish ourselves! They offer a huge range of classes--breakfast, dinner, holidays, kids' sessions, you name it. Our menu for the night was amazing : Bourbon Honey-Glazed Roasted Veggies, Cheesy Risotto, Filet Mignon with Herb de Provence Compound Butter, and Bananas Foster for dessert. (Still dreaming about that one.) Highly recommend this for families, groups, or anyone who likes fun, food, and a great night out.

We had a party here for my 6 year old and the party ended up being nice for the kids. However, the…read moreowner of this place is very rude to the children and it's unfortunate because this is such a great concept. The staff running the party was great and patient with the kids but the owner would pop up periodically and yell at the kids in a very disrespectful way. She clearly loses her patience if the noise level goes above what is comfortable for her. I would recommend steering clear of this place with your kiddos. If you decide to do it anyways, ask the parents of the attendees to stay despite Flour Power's suggestion to have parents drop off. They will want to be there to observe what's taking place. You don't want a kid going home saying they were yelled at during your child's party.

I'm a bit torn with this review. The facility, the teacher chefs and the content is wonderful. My…read moreissue was with the ages in the class. Online it gives three different age groups for classes. I payed for my 13 year old daughter to get into what was labeled "teen class". I called and emailed the address given and gave my number to the owner and asked her if she could talk as I had some questions... she only corresponded via email and as a fellow business owner, I felt as tho it was not as welcoming. But I went ahead and purchased the 6 classes. When I arrived I was under the understanding she would be with other teens her age but that was not the case and I understand why. She was in a class with an 8, two 9 and a 10 year old. This was not what I was under the impression I was paying for. I'm disappointed not at the content but that I was paying a hefty price to get her to make friends doing what she enjoys in her age group, outside of school, and to my surprise she was the oldest there. The manager there explained to me that there are not enough kids in her age group to do a separate class and I understand that but had I known.... I would not have payed for 6 sessions. This should be made known on the website ahead of time and I found it nowhere. This was an attempt to socialize her with teens her age. I felt misled and for that, I'm giving 3 stars. I'm disappointed

I've always wanted to learn how to make macarons but the process seemed intimidating and the cost for classes in my area is high. When my friends proposed this, I couldn't believe the value. We had a hands on class where Heather taught us the best tips and tricks to tackle macarons at home. I left armed with a box of tasty treats (that I made!), detailed recipes, and so many great pieces of general baking advice. My baking has improved already. I would have given Eat the Art 5 stars if my experience had ended with just the class. But now that I have lots of time and nowhere to go, I decided to put my skills to the test. I made macarons at home! Heather is obviously an artist and you will definitely want to do as she says and "eat the art." If you're looking for a girls' weekend activity or something fun for a bachelorette party, you will not regret taking a class at Eat the Art!

Wife had some noodle food which we didn't enjoy. My fried squid wasn't fried very well and didn't have much squid. The bread they gave was tasty though! People we know love the restaurant so perhaps it's just us. Went home that night and made a great noodle meal with De Cecco noodles and sea animals which wife and I ate till stuffed.

This was the email I sent: "Two friends and I had a 7:15 PM reservation at Culaccino on January 10. Our server was Lee. Things started out fine, but we found ourselves quickly being subjected to Lee's somewhat aggressive approach to service. He honestly was the least personable server I've ever experienced, and had a very condescending manner. A misunderstanding occurred on my friend's order. She was brought a dish with pork in it, which was not what she ordered. Mistakes happen, but Lee was not at ALL nice or accommodating about it, laying the blame on her, and bringing it up multiple times during our meal, with a snarky and resentful undertone. After we paid, he walked up, dropped our checks, and walked away without a word. It was the first time in my life I've ever been tempted to leave zero tip. My conscience for some reason would not allow me to follow through on this, but it was as undeserved as any gratuity I've ever left. We wanted dessert, but we ended up going elsewhere due to how we'd been treated. We also had no clue we would be charged $6 a person for water! Perhaps something that could be mentioned during the ordering process. I've honestly never had a more disappointing dining experience. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and had hoped to come back for a date night, but our experience left such a bad impression, I can't imagine spending additional money here. I'm not sure if other diners have had this experience with Lee, but we certainly did not feel welcome or valued as customers and felt it was important to make you aware." The food was fine, but most dishes needed salt- so basic. The lack of response from management, however, really says everything one needs to know about Culaccino. I'd truly recommend spending your dining dollars elsewhere.
