Itality immediately stood out when I began doing research before my trip to Albuquerque. They describe their cuisine as whole plant-based Pueblo food. It includes some items I'd never tried before such as atole (blue corn porridge) and Pueblo-style enchiladas as well as some things more familiar to me like their beans/greens bowl (Fiesta Bowl). I follow a whole foods/plant-based diet and was eager to try nearly every single item on the menu (except for a few deep-fried items), so I actually made 3(!!) trips here during my three-day stay in Albuquerque, and I still didn't even try everything I wanted to. My favorite item was the Feast Bowl, which comes with the bean of the day (e.g. chickpeas or pinto beans), sautéed kale, fresh avocado, and quinoa. It is a smallish portion (good for me because I wanted to try multiple things) and really tasty. A little on the salty side. I ordered this multiple times and would add it to any meal. My next most favorite item was the lentil and green chile soup, which was the "daily kyu-nah" (daily stew) all three days that we went. It was sooo hearty and comforting and delicious, with potato chunks and other veggies and amazing flavor. The next shoutout goes to the tamales, filled with black beans and veggies. Delicious enough for me to order repeatedly. I also loved the atole, a warm and lightly sweetened porridge made from blue corn. A bit reminiscent of cream of wheat. I had a hard time deciding between this and the blue corn waffles which also looked fantastic. I love that they serve breakfast all day. The green omega smoothie was tasty, and I appreciated that it came in a small or large size. The only dish I didn't particularly enjoy was the Pueblo-style enchiladas. It is a single enormous thick whole wheat wrap folded up with kale and zucchini inside. The wrap was infused with red chile powder, and it was extremely salty and rather dry, although the veggie filling was nice. Some of my friends liked this dish, but it wasn't for me. Overall, I loved this restaurant and could have eaten every meal of my trip there. Next time I come to Albuquerque, I'll probably try to stay within walking distance of Itality so it's even easier to go over and over. (Being in the same parking lot as La Montañita Food Co-op was just icing on the cake!)

Amazing service, amazing aesthetic, a little small but it fit my family of 4. The food was AMAZING! I definitely recommend this place, even if you're not vegan..!

The Puebloan Pizza with lion's mane Recommend eating it there as the crunch and that extra texture would be lost if it got soggy

Not gonna lie: they're no longer doing the side of oyster mushrooms (at least, not for now) that first wrangled my fandom, but this is a solid. But delicious; will try to get a macro of a cross section Bc even tho I don't see the mushrooms, it was so scrumptious. Had a slight heat (arrabiata in Italian) but only added to the senatorial treat And Wren took my call Was honest when she didn't know what was currently available, and asked the kitchen for particulars And when I arrived at the counter, she had it all under control Brava!

Ital NDN Frybread and tamales

Nourishing, delicious, plant/based food at its best. Speedy service with a smile in a fast-casual smoothie shop type of environment. Had a great first lunch in New Mexico - even the frybread didn't feel too heavy! Must return!

This is a tiny little vegan place near the Indian cultural center in Albuquerque. I am a bona fide carnivore, so I had to keep an open mind on coming here. The place is tiny with only a few tables lining the walls, but it does have several tables outside. You ordered the counter and they will bring the food to your table. There's not much to the decor, but it's nice enough with some live plants. We ordered the Blue Corn Amaranth Waffles with berry compote, the Avocado Zorah Bayla Toast, and the Italian NDN Taco. While the textures could take a non-vegan person some getting used to, all the flavors were spot on and delicious!

It's so rare to find a vegan place that satisfies every person in my little family, especially now that we have a kiddo. This was AMAZING! We got the special, which was an Indian Taco made with potato's, kale, beans, red chile, and squash on fry bread. OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! We got the waffle for the little, and it is packed with all the healthy things but still taste like a sweet treat-- she LOVED it, and so did we. Lastly, we got the fry bread plate, kinda like the taco but with less stuff on it. 10/10 recommend and WILL be back!

Itality, WOW glad to see a place in New Mexico that represents PLANT BASED Native American Culture AND cuisine, conveniently locations across the street from the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. I recommend a nice day going through the museum then finishing the day at Itality! I got the 'Hey-Miss Enchilada' and it was great! The vibes were amazing good energy, from the food to being able to say hi to the owner Tina Archuleta, seeing her passion for the restaurant is another reason to come back! Thank you Itality

Frybread special and prickly pear lemonade

Wasn't sure about trying this place, but sooo glad that I did! The frybread special was amazing. Veggies were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the texture of the frybread was amazing, and the sauce rounded everything out. Greenhouse seating area was very cute. Fast and friendly service.

I just really like the food here. The flavors are balanced, and personally, this balance of texture and flavor has a power that reminds me of illustrated books. If I could turn small and live in that atole and the avocado toast, I think it'd be really nice. Maybe, the frybread, too, but we had green chili on it-- might be spicy in the eyes. To say the least: It was really yummy. Thank you.

The first time I went here, I got the enchilada plate and didn't like it at all, as it was very dry and not very flavorful, same with the corn bread, even though the ingredients and place were up my alley- vegan, healthier, and the chance to support an indigenous owned place. This time, I loved my fry bread topped with black beans, veggies, and an amazing creamy garlic sauce so much. The frybread was so fresh and tasty and not oily like they usually are- it really did seem healthier. It is a tiny place, but nice light ambience. Staff have been nice. The prices are kind of all over the place- some things seem reasonable, others like the tamale plate seem high. After my last visit, I'm excited to go back!

Our favorite is the New Mexico Style Burger with regular fries and a Pepsi. Today we enjoyed the addition of a delightfully yummy chocolate oat milk shake. Yum, Yum, Yummy-Yummm yum!! Jess was our server today and she made us our first (very delicious) oat milk shake. Hip hip hooray! The dine in vibe rocks and the vintage couch hangout in the back by the original old rock wall lends a charm that is sadly not found in many cool places anymore. The light fixtures and the deco job comes together nicely blending a "now"-vibe with the charm and mellow-yellow-sheik with a mid-modern retro revival twist. The gift shop in the lobby area is really cool too! Go there and eat food and drinks and buy stuff! Go vegan! Yay, Lucky Goise! 5 stars!

I went in thinking I wanted the falafel wrap on a Dosa, but I decided to try the cauliflower tacos instead, on their Chapati. These tacos were amazing, and I can't wait to try other menu options. It was a great choice, but I will have to try the falafel next time! This place was very cute, and welcoming with beautiful live plants living in a comfortable atmosphere. "Delicious Italian in Nob Hill"…read more Came here on a Sunday night at 6:45pm. We didn't have a reservation, so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Fortunately, they had nice couches outside, and the weather was great, so we were comfortable waiting until we got the text a table was ready. The restaurant is surprisingly large yet inviting, with a big round bar near the middle. We had a big lunch, so we ordered a smaller dinner. My girlfriend and I split the mista salad, the cacio e pepe arancini, and an eggplant parmesan. We had them bring it all out at once since it was already a bit late for us. The waitress was helpful, but the restaurant was very busy. The food came in maybe 15 minutes and was all absolutely outstanding. I loved the combo of the vinaigrette and feta flavor on the salad. So refreshing. The arancini came in a pecorino cream sauce that was absolutely to-die-for. I was rubbing those rice balls hard in that sauce before every bite. And the eggplant parm was a different take from cheap Italian places wherein it had less but more freshly flavored sauce, the coating was seasoned perfectly, and it came above good fresh linguini in mozzarella. The quantity was good, and the waitress nicely split the eggplant parm into two plates for us before serving, which was thoughtful. And price was excellent-- I think it was under $50 for everything even with tax. This was much better than virtually all of the Italian restaurants near where I live, and I would very happily come back any time. Highly recommend.

We stuck a few quarters into the meter that couldn't be read, and we walked into the restaurant. We were greeted at the door and given several options for seating including outdoor seating. We took a table in the entry way, not in the main restaurant. It was a quaint spot overlooking the patio section out front of the restaurant. A server met us, took our drink order, and we placed a few appetizer orders. We got some chile con queso, and the chicharron. They initially brought out the queso in two small plastic to-go containers. I was not very thrilled with that. Then, when we polished them off, they brought out some more in a small serving dish. Why we didn't get the dish in the first place is beyond me. The queso was good, but I didn't think much of the chicharron. My husband like it though. The server did an excellent job keeping our drinks filled. We placed our order, and it wasn't too long that our orders came out. I got the combination plate, red sauce, ground beef taco. My husband thought he ordered the enchilada plate, but the chile relleno plate came out instead. He told them that was fine. The ground beef taco was so delicious. The chile relleno was pretty good, and the cheese enchiladas were okay, even though it was like they were barely there. The pinto beans, not refried beans, were also enjoyed. What really set them apart was their papas - those potatoes were soft and super flavorful. Their red sauce was spicy and flavorful. The server brought out two fresh and hot sopapillas. We poured honey on those things bite by bite. I honestly think those were the best sopapillas I've had. I also used the restroom before we left. It might need a little updating, but it was certainly clean.
